    I had the same problem like you.  I can hear from the speaker, and when doing a recording and play back via the speaker.  My iPhone 4 is out of warranty so I just got it fix at the small repair shop and cost me S$50.  The repair guy did the above test and comfirm it is faulty of a small component, total tiem taken to fix my iPhone is about 10mins..

  • Cannot Video Call with one Contact Anymore

    I am having this problem where my friend and I, who could video call last week, cannot anymore. The sound works but we cannot communicate via video. All video settings are good, and I can see my camera in the lower right but neither of us receives the video. I have the latest version of skype, that I downloaded the update for today, for Windows and my friend has the latest version for Mac (just redownloaded it to be sure). Even so, we cannot skype using video anymore. To be clear, I can still skype with other contacts. I tested it to be sure, and I can see them and they can see me. It's just this one contact now.
    What could be the problem or solution?

    Obviously this is stumping people. I don't know if this matters, but I forgot one detail. I'm in the USA and my contact is in the UK.

    I have bought an unlimited subcription (US & Canada) recently and have used it regularly to make phone calls.  I have Skype on my computer, as well as equipment in my office for desk use.  I recently tried to the desk phone to call a moble phone in my area code (NC, US) but it says that I need Skype credit to make the call.  
    Can I only use my subcription to make phone calls to mobile phones and landlines if I use my computer?  Please advise.

    You can use your Plan to call from any Skype enabled computer/device.
    If you can call from your computer but not from a Skype enabled device it means that the device is not recognizing your Plan.
    Please check with the device manufacturer/supplier.

    Recently I purchased the Unlimited World Subscription.
    After a while, I decided to cancel the subscription.
    I was given this message:
    "You've cancelled your Unlimited World subscription. You can continue to make calls until it expires on March 2, 2013."
    However, I cannot make any calls even though it clearly states that I can until the 2nd of March.
    I am utterly confused as to why I cannot receive the services that I paid for. I would like a refund immediately, and if this is not possible, I would like it to be converted into credit.
    Please correct this at once.

  • Cannot merge changes with bc

    I have a BusinessCatalyst site that was built in muse for a client and was published to their account (They have Creative Cloud for enterprise). They have several employees that need to make small changes to the site occasionally using the in-browser editing. They are able to make those changes fine and they are applied to the site with no issue. But when anyone opens the .muse file on any computer , mac or PC, it recognizes that there are changes and does the normal "Would you like to review these changes" thing. But, it never gives the option to actually review and merge. It shows the progress bar that says it's checking the files and has the "Review and Merge" button at the bottom greyed out while the progress bar goes across, and then as soon as that's done it immediately opens another box that says "Sync Complete". None of the changes are applied to the muse file and if I go and try publishing the site it wipes out all of the in-browser edits that have been made. If I try to manually sync it (File>Sync with web version) it says that there are no changes. I have tried publishing to a temporary site and it does the same thing with that one. I sent in a copy of the site to support but so far they've said they can't find any issues with it and weren't able to replicate it. It doesn't look like there are any recent errors in my muselog.txt, and nothing in the past related to this. As far as I can tell this was working fine until we updated to the newest version of Muse. I've also tested this doing the in-browser editing in all major browsers with no difference. I've reached out to support but I'm hoping maybe someone in the forum has run into this and can either provide a workaround or confirm that it is some type of bug. Help please! This client has already paid and isn't able to make any changes to their site, which was their #1 request.
    P.S. This is not my first time to the rodeo. I've built tons of sites in muse and never had this issue. Everything is on the current version.

    Please download the file http://museforum.businesscatalyst.com/6488782/assets/MuseLogPrefs.xml to your Documents folder, restart Muse, and go through the "review and merge" process.
    Then please send the MuseLog.txt from your Documents folder to [email protected] with a link to this thread (and delete the MuseLogPrefs.xml file)

  • HUM - cannot monitor calls with MIBs

    Hi all,
    I am trying to monitor the voice and fax calls through my routers, I have HUM and I loaded the CISCO-CALL-HISTORY-MIB. However, I cannot get any data when I create a graph or report to monitor ciscoCallHistoryCallDisconnectCause as an example.
    I also could not understand the meaning of the instances going from 1267073499.170396 to 1267162828.170441.
    Anybody has an idea about the meaning of the insatances and what may be the reason that I cannot extract any information from this mib.

    The instance IDs in the ciscoCallHistoryTable are ciscoCallHistoryStartTime and ciscoCallHistoryIndex.  ciscoCallHistoryStartTime is a TimeStamp indicating when the call started, and the ciscoCallHistoryIndex value is a unique arbitrary number to identify a specific call which had a given start time.
    A TimeStamp represents the value of sysUpTime when the specific call began.

    Today I downloaded and installed the iTunes update, then did the iPhone 2.2 update. Now I cannot place calls with my phone. I can receive calls and all other functions work ok.
    I powered off and restarted the phone. No luck.

    I went to AT&T and had my SIM card replaced. No luck.
    I restored the phone to factory settings. No luck.

    When I press the green Call button it immediately says the call failed.
    AT&T verified that my account was in good standing and had no billing/administrative issues. They then replaced my SIM card. Honestly, I didn't trust the AT&T store to do tech-support on the iPhone. Since there was an Apple store about 100 yards away, I went there next.
    At the Genius Bar, the man said that there had been some "voltage issues" from updating via a laptop. He said that I should restore it to factory settings, then try again, but this time from a desktop. I tried that, but still, no luck.
    It seems odd that I can receive calls, but not place them.

    What happens when you tap on the Phone icon?
    This red circle "next to" the phone icon, just where is it (left/right, high/low, overlapping/nearby/far)?
    Does it have anything in it (fill/nofill, digits/exclamation point, etc.)?

    So, about a week ago people began being incapable of understanding what I was saying on phone calls, the volume was very low and the sound was completely garbled.  I experimented with recording videos, and the videos had captured sound perfectly.  So it seems it is not a hardware issue, unless video records sound with a different microphone than phone calls.
    Then just today, I could not even make phone calls.  I would get "this call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number. announcement" followed by a 'switch' code.  I then activated the "advanced calling" feature of my phone for the first time, restarted the device as instructed, and verified successful installation of advanced calling.  I still cannot make calls, with the "call cannot be completed as dialed" message followed by "4 switch 1 8 dash 7" and then eventually "4 switch 1 8 dash 8."  This occurs when calling Sprint numbers, Verizon numbers, and even 1800 numbers.  I have tried calling my phone from another phone, and I hear the same message on the 'healthy' phones.

    Usually it indicates a problem with the format of the number.  Have you tried 1 area code 7-digit# or drop the 1 or drop both the 1 and the area code?  Maybe try a new SIM free at a corporate store or power down, pop yours out, reinsert, power on.

  • Problems with conference calls(adding and merging calls) after upgrade to ios 8.1.2 on iphone 5s

    I am having weird problem intermittently with adding calls or merging them or swapping them. The issue happens 8 out of 10 times whenever I try to do a conference call. This issue came up after I upgraded to 8,1.2. Never experienced this in 8.1.1 or previous version.
    Some of the scenarios that I have experienced is:
    1. While on the call, when I try to add a new contact, it just doesn't dial the second number.
    2. Sometimes the second number gets dialed, cannot merge the calls.
    3. After talking to the second person, cannot go back to the first call.
    I am very sure that this is not a carrier issue as it worked flawlessly before upgrade.
    Anyone experienced this before? Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the above infromation. I did a complete restore of my iphone through iTunes connecting it to my computer via cable. iOS8.1.3 was re-installed. I then added back my settings and data which were backed up prior to restoring the phone. I still have the same issue with conferencing and adding a third caller. When I hit the [+] box, the existing caller is not put on hold. The phone appears to be making a call but it is not dialing to the 3rd party. Shortly thereafter, the Merge icon appears but there is no active call to merge with. I have tried this several times using my wife's iPhone and our home phone to set up a 3-way call. I know it is not working because the 3rd phone (our home phone) does not ring. Is this a hardware problem? My wife's iPhone 6 works with no problem and was purchased the same time I purchased my iPhone 6. Probably time for a visit to the Apple Store unless there is another solution.

    Same here. We have this call center in our company where after i have added a call to merge i have to push no. 4 and dial from the keypad. This has never been possible in ios but it have been possible to create a contact called "Merge" and add number 4 as it's phone number. Now by merging first my clients call to my collegegue and then to this "Merge" contact it has been dropping me out of line and my client and collegue are merged.
    Now ios 7 wont let me call to this "Merge" contact's number "4"
