Cannot move ID objects to Quality Server using CTS

Dear Friends,
We are using PI 7.1. We have created necessary HTTP & TCP/IP Destinations in PI QA server and then transported using CTS all SLD & ESR objects.
Now we are struck up during moving ID objects from DEV PI to QA PI.
Please give me your solutions to resolve this issue.
Thanks
John

Are you getting any specific error at any point? First make sure that SLD transport is properly done, with objects of both Dev and QA system and transport targets properly defined.

Prateek

how can you move the objects from one server to another?

    Hi,
    Collecting objects for Transporting
    1. rsa1->transport connection
    2. left panel choose 'object type', middle panel choose 'infocube' and 'select objects'
    3. then choose your infocube and 'transfer'
    4. will go to right panel, choose collection mode 'manual' and grouping only 'necessary objects'
    5. after objects collection finished, create request
    6. If they are $TMP, then change the package.
    7. When you click the Save on the change package, it will prompt for transport. Here you can provide an existing open transport request number, or if you like here itself you can create a new one.
    8. You can check the request in SE09 to confirm.
    Releasing Transport Request
Lets say you are transporting from BWD to BWQ
Step 1: In BWD go to TCode SE10
Step 2: Find the request and release it (Truck Icon or option can be found by right click on request #)
Note: First release the child request and then the parent request
Steps below are to import transport (generally done by basis )
Step 1: In BWQ go to Tcode STMS
Step 2: Click on Import queue button
Step 3: Double Click on the line which says BWQ (or the system into which transport has to be imported)
Step 4: Click on refresh button
Step 5: High light the trasnport request and import it (using the truck icon)
    Transport

  • Want to transport Zsapscript in local objects  to  quality server ?

    Hi all,
I want to transport Zsapscript which is stored in my local objects to quality server ? can you tel people
tel me how to do it ?
    thanks,
    Siva.

    Hi Siva,
    Local objects can't be tranportable.
you have to assign a tranport request to the local object.
steps to assing the tranport request to local object
    1) go to SE80
2)Search with the Local objects from the drop down in the Repository Broweser
    3) selct your script and right click on that, then go to  Other funtions--> Change package assginment
    4) here you can create or assign the tranport request.

  • User control ActiveX cannot move between objects using TAB

I created a simple ActiveX control with 3 text boxes.
I added it as an ActiveX object to a SAP form.
It apears good on the screen but it seems like SAP is "stealing" the TAB keypress and therefore I cannot move between the ActiveX controls accrdinf to their Tabindex property
It happed both in VB6 and VB.NET user control
How it can be solved ?
    Tx Yaron

I'm assuming you're not using a BusinessObjects reporting solution, which would mean you're posting to the wrong forum.

  • Cannot move selected objects in Illustrator

    I'm using Illustrator CS5.5.
I cannot move anything I select. I try to drag it and it makes the "bump" noise.
-I made sure that my preferences are not set to "object selection by path only".
-I've restarted my computer several times
-I tried to open a previous Illustrator file and I have the same problem
-I even uninstalled and reinstalled my entire Abode Suite beacuse I've been having several issues
I'm not sure if this is related but I also can't create a new document unless I use picas and CMYK coloring. It refuses to adjust to anything other than the default settings. Also, I can't increase the stroke of an object unless I type in the number, meaning I can't use the arrows for adjustment.
So basically I am having a ton of problems and even reinstalling the program didn't fix them.
    Help please.

    Hi everyone.
I've also had the same problem recently. To sum it up:
    - Sometimes (randomly) Illy won't move objects. I click and drag them, it results on a bumpy sound and the object comes back to its initial place. Note that the object is visually being moved during the drag
    - Trying it again, with the same object, same conditions, may results in more failures, but at some point it works (sometimes 2 tries, sometimes 20)
    - It doesn't seem to be affected by the direction, distance, "drag time" of the Move action.
    - It is also not affected by the type of object being moved (simple or complicated shape, pixel image, etc)
    - Keyboard input works flawlessly
    - Only the move action via Selection or Direct Selection tool is affected.
    What i've tried:
    - Looking at obvious errors (layer locked, wrong tool selected, etc)
    - Checking the outlines using Ctrl-Y or any other shape that would be in the way
    - Unchecking "Object selection by path only" (was already, tried both)
    - Opening other files, older or newer.
    - Restarting Illustrator
    - Restarting Computer
    - Resetting my preferences
    - Putting all kind of drivers up to date (Graphics, Motherboard, mouse, etc)
    - Completely uninstalling/reinstalling Adobe CC 2014 Creative Suite, with a Cleaner Tool in between
    - Trying with an older Illustrator version (CC) which does not seems to be affected (then again, the bug is pretty random, and danielv82539074 is having it with CS6)
Now my guess would be some kind of issue with mouse recognition since keyboard works. Restarting Illy sometimes give me a 10-15 minutes relapse before the bug occurs again.
    Gear:
    - Illustrator 18.1.1 64 bits
    - Intel Core I6-2600K 3.4 GHz
    - Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 Ti (drivers up to date)
    - Mouse Steelseries XAI
    - Windows 8
Anyway, this is really really annoying, i hate everyone, my life is in limbo, why is this happening to meee?!
Just kidding, i still love you Illy, just, you know, let me work !
    Thanks everyone <3

  • Move large database to other server using RMAN in less downtime

    Hi,
We have large database around 20TB. We want to migrate (move) the database from one server to other server. We do not want to use standby option.
    1)     How can we move database using RMAN in less downtime
    2)     Other than RMAN is there any option is available to move the database to new server
For option 1 (restore using RMAN),
    Whether below options are valid?
If this option is valid, how to implement this?
    1)     How can we move database using RMAN in less downtime
    a)     Take the full backup from source (source db is up)
    b)     Restore the full backup in target (source db is up)
    c)     Take the incremental backup from source (source db is up)
    d)     Restore incremental backup in target (source db is up)
    e)     Do steps c and d, before taking downtime (source db is up)
    f)     Shutdown and mount the source db, and take the incremental backup (source db is down)
    g)     Restore last incremental backup and start the target database (target is up and application is accessing this new db

    Simple:
I do this all the time to relocate file system files... But the principle is the same. You can do this in iterations so you do not need to do it all at once:
Starting 8AM move less-used files and more active files in the afternoon using the following backup method.
    SCRIPT-1
    RMAN> BACKUP AS COPY
    DATAFILE 4 ####"/some/orcl/datafile/usersdbf"
    FORMAT "+USERDATA";
Do as many files as you think you can handle during your downtime window.
During your downtime window: stop all applications so there is no contention in the database
    SCRIPT-2
    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 4 offline;
    SWITCH DATAFILE 4 TO COPY;
    RECOVER DATAFILE 4;
    ALTER DATABASE DATAFILE 4 online;
I then execute the delete of the original file at somepoint later - after we make sure everything has recovered and successfully brought back online.
    SCRIPT-3
    DELETE DATAFILECOPY "/some/orcl/datafile/usersdbf"
For datafiles/tablespaces that are really busy, I typically copy them later in the afternoon as there are fewer archivelogs that it has to go through in order to make them consistent. The ones in the morning have more to go through, but less likelihood of there being anything to do.
Using this method, we have moved upwards 600G at a time and the actual downtime to do the switchover is < 2hrs. YMMV. As I said, this can be done is stages to minimize overall downtime.
If you need some documentation support see:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e18951/asm_rman.htm#CHDBDJJG
And before you do ANYTHING... TEST TEST TEST TEST TEST. Create a dummy tablespace on QFS and use this procedure to move it to ASM to ensure you understand how it works.
Good luck! (hint: scripts to generate these scripts can be your friend.)

  • I opened a high density .tiff file in photoshop but I cannot move the object

I opened a high density .tiff file in photoshop but I cannot move the object

Odds are the image is the same size as the document. You can either add canvas Image>Canvas Size... , use the crop tool and drag outwards to create more space, or reduce the size of the image ctrl-t or command-t then scale the image inward.

  • Error while releasing object to quality server

    Hi,
I have written follo select stmt ,

When doing syntax chk ,  getting warning as "Lenth specification of AWKEY is ignored when FOR ALL ENTRIES IN used".
    I activated the object.
Bur while releasing it to quality , in Code inspector 1 error is coming saying
"Large table EKBE :  No first field of a table index in WHERE condition".But still i managed to release it.
What is the meaning of that Error. Is it that i m not using a primary key in WHERE cond while accessing a huge table EKBE ?
Is it going to impact anywhere in quality or production server as requset got released with ERROR ?
How to remove such errors which r appearing in code inspector and not in Syntax check.

    Steve

This problem is still unresolved.  It fails at 95 percent.  I have done the following all of which has failed:
    1. Upgraded the servers to Exchange 2010 SP3 UR7.
    2. Created a new mailbox database on the source mailbox server and tried to move the mailbox to it. This failed.
    3. Ran an Exchange 2010 "Repair-Mailbox" command on the mailbox.  No errors were reported.
    4. I sucessfully am able to export the mailbox to a pst file. I don't want to delete the mailbox, create a new mailbox, and import the pst file into it because this will break the user's Outlook profile, meeting requests, and message replies.
The only other things I can think of trying is to remove all the contents of the mailbox, try to move the mailbox and then import the pst file back into the mailbox.  Another is to try an offline defrag on the database with the eseutil command.
I am not sure if they will help or not.
    Any ideas?

  • Cannot move or trash items because "in use" - Need an "apply to all" option

In manually transferring items on my MacBook to my external hard drive I accidentally dropped the items into the desktop folder. I have everything backed-up properly on my external hard drive now. I attempted to move all of the items to the trash. I am prompted with "these items are in use and cannot be trashed - stop or continue." Continue works and I can throw them into the the trash. The problem -- THERE ARE 8,722 items!!! It is making me hit continue for each item. I cannot push continue 8,722 times. I need an "apply to all" button, but it doesn't offer me that.  Is there another solution?

Try disconnecting the external drive and restarting your Macbook. That might solve your problem of not being able to do a bulk trash drop and empty.

  • Cannot connect to a remote JMX server using OC4J 10.1.3

    Hi,
Running the following code in an EJB deployed in OC4J 10.1.3

    connector = JMXConnectorFactory.connect(jmxurl);

    Thanks for help.

    Even using the
    command:
    java - classpath C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
    Server 2005 JDBC Driver\sqljdbc_1.1\enu\sqljdbc.jar
    program_name does not work.
As specified that wouldn't work even if everthing else did. The path has spaces so the value has to be quoted.
    >
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for
at least reading this thread!Connecting has nothing to do with the class path.
Either it is finding the class or it isn't. You can't even attempt to connect until it finds the class.
If it is finding the class then everything you posted here is pointless.

  • I updated to the latest version and now I do not have the page controls at the right hand side and bottom and can only move the page up and down using the mouse scroll wheel. I also cannot see the whole page I am trying to view.

When I open the web browser I cannot see the whole page and I cannot move the image sideways and must use the mouse scroll to move up and down.

    Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder:
    User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9,  go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

    Hello Everyone,
Please help me on the following problem.
I imported my package which consists of 2 reports, one module pool and one copied standard Function Group consisiting of 3 FM's from my DEV server to Quality Server using Tranport Request(Co files and Data files) It was successful.

So i again created a new request and assigned everything again to this new request. But now some objects are imported like Reports but module pool and Function Group incudind FM's are not imported...
    Can anyone tell me why?
And What should i do in this case?

  • Moving Objects from Quality to Producton

    Hi,
whts the process used to move BO Objects from Quality to Production system.
    Regards,
    Shiva Kumar G.C

If you're talking about migrating a universe, then it's easier.
Make sure you've go the latest version from the QA folder in the repository.
Now do a File Save As.
Navigate to the production folder and save in there.
Change the connection to point to the production connection.
Carry out an integrity check to make sure that everything still works.
Then save the universe and export it to the Production folder in the CMS.
