Cannot open a new tab have to get a link and open in new tab.

I cannot open a new tab either by clicking on the button on the tool bar, going to File/Open New Tab or CTRL T. I think this happened after I upgraded to the newest version of Firefox. The only way I can get a new tab is to click on a bookmark or link and right click and select Open in New Tab. Very frustrating.

This issue can be caused by the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)

You will have to close firefox.exe with the Windows Task Manager from the "Processes" tab of the WTM since you don't have a widow to close.
The best way to close Firefox is through File > Exit, for those who stuck with the "Firefox" button click on the Firefox button then Exit. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than just closing the window with the "X" in the upper right corner

This does not happen when opening in a new window (shift+click).
It was never a problem in older versions. I now have ff 3.6.17. I' afraid to install ff4 because everytime i do so (install e new version) something i liked dissapears or good add ons dont work anymore!
I also don't like the fact that more and more of the adress barr is beïng used for crap i don't need. I'm a visual handicap and need all the space i can, just to read.

Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache from the nominated folder that you have set up to sync photos to the devices.

Make a temporary, backup copy if you don't have a backup copy of the library (select the library and type Command+D) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4
Launch iPhoto and try again.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I just got my mac a month ago so go easy on me but I was just working with the pages that was already on it, and then today I know it updated, and now I am unable to open a lot of my documents!:( Idk what you mean by the icloud version lol sorry! As for the version, when I open pages from my apps and click 'about' it says version 5.1? And when I open the document it just goes grey and kind of blinks and doesnt open? According to your descriptioin, I don't think this is system problem, it should be Intel driver problem. It would be contact Intel to confirm this issue whether this is their driver problem.

I believe that all audiobooks are supplied to Apple by audible.com, so I assume that it's them requiring the one-time only download. How can I get one link to open two different PDFs?

Even though I'm only the hardware support guy where I work, I've been asked to maintain the web site. The latest request is that they want to get one link to open two PDFs. I know you can do something like that with web pages, but I'm not sure if you can do the same with PDFs. I only know the basics of Dreamweaver, so, if it can be done, please explain it to me like I'm a 5-year-old. However, I'm not afraid of code. Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

You can do this by using the javascript onClick event to load the 2 pdf's, but if I was to see such action when clicking a link I would suspect that it was trying to open multiple pages, (as per spam sites) and immediately close the tabs/windows and never visit the site again.
If you do require two pdf's then merge both pdf files into one, and link to the single file as normal.

Hold down the option key while starting iTunes and make an new library. Will it open then? If so, you have a bad library. With the new library import the library.xml version of the file in your iTunes folder. This will make it 90% like before (some metadata are not identical, but I don't know which ones).

On my iphone, when I get into Messages, I see a list of message thread names and at the top right is an icon with a square and pencil coming out of it. If I tap it, I can begin composing a new message with having to deal with any others.
If on your screen you see one or more message "bubbles", then press the "Messages" button at the upper left to go back to the home page for messages. There you can tap the compose icon.
