Cannot open a Sequence!! Please Help ASAP!

When trying to open a sequence which consists of compiled sequences, a popup message appears stating "Operation not Allowed" with an ok button.
When I click on the ok button, another popup message appears stating "Error: Out of Memory".
After that, the sequence just does not open.
Im am currently running on 2 gb of RAM. I dont think my memory can be an issue with at least opening the file.
Can someone please help!! Has anyone run into this problem.
BTW I have Final Cut Studio HD.

Many things can be causing this problem. The first and easiest thing to do is delete your fcp preferences. Do a search here for fcp rescue, a neat little utility that will backup, delete and restore your fcp preferences. If that doesn't help, you may have a corrupt piece of media. First and easiest thing to try is to delete all renders. If that doesn't help, it may be a corrupt clip. Take all your media offline and see if the sequence will open. If so, gradually reconnect your media until you find the problem.
One thing that comes to mind is cmyk graphics. There verbotten. If you have any, open in photoshop and save as RGB.
If none of this works, email me a project that just consists of the problem sequence and I'll see if I can open it and then zap it back to you. My email adress is in my profile. Be sure and archive the file before attaching to email (control click on the file in the finder and choose archive).

Same problem here - Click to open iTunes and an error box (grey with red X) pops up with the following message:
"iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes."
Please help! It's doing my head in! Advice on other threads is to uninstall QuickTime and install the previous one (QuickTime 7). I did this and it has made no difference whatsoever; same error message pops up. An alternative solution is apparently to uninstall iTunes and then reinstall a previous version. I have not yet tried this - if i uninstall iTunes, won't i lose my music?!
Apparently this is a common error with Windows XP and Vista users after an update but it has never happened to me before.
Can anyone help please?

I need to update my iTunes and my iPhone 3GS to the latest version and evertimes I click on "update" I get the following error message displayed - "cannot open URL". I have checked the permissions on my windows firewall and iTunes is not blocked. PLease can anyone give me some other suggestions as its really frustrating and I want to download ringtones etc but can't do so without the latest software versions of iOS etc. Please help? Try temporarily disabling your firewall and antivirus software and try again...

Cannot Open ID File - Please Help

Hello,
I was sent a file by a client in InDesign, but when I try to open it I get the following message: "Cannot open (file name). Please update plugins to their latest versions or update to the latest version of Adobe InDesign."
I tried downloading plugins from the Adobe site, but it didn't appear to do anything. I have 5.5. I'm guessing this file may have been created in 6. Is there any way I can open this file? It is very important. Could anyone help?

@Bob...the OP gave the error message.
@OP, can you have the person you received the file from save a copy as an IDML file? If this isn't possible, can you upgrade to CS6? And if not, you'll need to upload the file to drop box.com and provide a link either here in the forum, or if you need to keep the file private, provide the download link via a private message.

Huh...? Where did you get it? And what instructions are you looking at? The instructions do NOT tell you to slide the back off. The back doesn't come off. The Sim slot is on the right side of the phone. You use the tool that came with it or a paper clip to eject the SIM tray and put your Nano-SIM in it.

If the battery was completely drained the iPad will not respond for some time after connecting it to the charger. Connect the iPad to the charger that came with it and plug that into a good wall outlet. Wait 30 minutes. Then reset the iPad.Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until it's battery shows fully charged. If the iPad still does not start Make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. Be sure to back up your device before taking or sending it to Apple.

Can anyone help me! Whenever i try to log into iTunes it says: We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occured (-9808).

Cannot open iPhoto.. please help!

When I try opening iPhoto I get the message that the library was opened by an unlicesed version of iPhoto, and that I please have to close and open it in iPhoto 2 or 4 - which is very difficult since I already upgraded to iPhoto 5 or 6..
Can anyone help me?

you need to find your old library, did you move it ?
Are you logged in as the same user you normally use ?
The iphoto LIB is located under /users/youruser/pictures
if it's not there you need to find where you moved it to.... if you find the Library double click on it and you will be back in action

Cannot open Pages File, Please HELP

Hi,
I've just had disaster happened to me. I've moved about 1GB of data from computer for Flash drive. When attempted to eject thumb drive, it kept saying, drive is in use. Stupid me just removed that drive. Using Data Rescue I've managed to recover the files, but.... All of them are corrupt
Most important file to me is Pages document I was working on for the whole day. I can see files inside 'package' of that .pages file, but none of them could be opened.
Is there a way of repairing that file? Or at least, is there a way of extracting text from it, that's what I care about the most...
Any help, suggestions is appreciated....

How is your flash drive formatted?
I assumes that it is not in a format correctly treating packages.
When we have to copy a document made with an iWork application, it is safe to pack it as a zipped archive.
Doing so get rid of a lot of problems.
In a Pages document, we may see:
a -- a subfolder named Contents and an other one named QuickLook. Don't touch them.
b -- several picture files corresponding to images inserted in the document.
When the doc is in good health, double clicking these files open them in their creation application.
c -- index.xml.gz which is a packed version of the XML file describing our document.
If we double click it, it expands as index.xml which may be read in any XML aware application.
I met some Pages documents whose all items open perfectly but whose the XML file appears as corrupted for Pages.
It seems that something was wrongly described when the file was created so that Pages is unable to re-read it.
May you pack one of your odd files as a zip archive, attach it to a mail and send it to

I would look at its components and if it appears to be the kind of described corruption, I wish to be allowed to send it to Apple.
I assumes that with some samples of corrupted files they would be able to identify what is the wrongdoer.

Do not uninstall Firefox.
(1) Download a full installer for Firefox 32 from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ to a convenient location. (Scroll down to your preferred language.)
(2) Rename the Mozilla Firefox program folder

Program Error- cannot open file? Please help! I lost my whole project!

When I try to open an animation psd file, I keep getting a box that says my request could not be completed due to a program error. The file is 23.7 MB and I am using a PC.... I at least need to get the file open so i can export the animation.

I don't personally know how to repair such a file, but I can suggest a utility that will be able to fetch an uncorrupted backup copy if it is in Window's Shadow copy.

You need to backup your iPhoto library and go to the App store and update to version 9.5.x (a free update for iphoto '11 owners)
