Cannot open burned audio CD's any longer

I am running OS X Lion 10.7.5 with all updates and cannot open burned audio CD's anymore. DVD's and store bought music CD's work. Any ideas?

Memorex do not have a high reputation, and some superdrives are more picky than others.
What you could try is to make a copy of the DVD on a recommended brand of media, and see if that works on the iMac.

Cannot open 192.168.1.0 any longer

On Monday, I was able to log in to 192.168.1.0 and changed my password. Today, I can't even open up the page!!!! I have no problem opening other sites but this one will not open. Any suggestions? I am running Windows 2000, IE 6.0. WRTG54GS v.2. Thanks.

Are you using iCloud?
If this were happening to me, the first thing I'd try is to remove the preferences files from your home library folder.
Do you know how to do that?

I cannot open Beats Audio. Get a, "Can not find startup file" message

I have an HP Touchsmart 320-1030 desktop w Windows 7 32-bit and cannot open Beats Audio. When I go to control panel and click on the beats icon I get a, "Can not find startup file" message

Cannot open Adobe Reader XI or any PDF file

When I try to open Adobe Reader XI or any PDF file, it says that it "cannot open in Protected Mode due to an incompatibility with your system configuration. Would you like to open Adobe Reader with Protected Mode disabled?" When I choose open with Protected Mode disabled, it then displays "Acrobat failed to load its Core DLL.” Please help. Thank you. All PDF’s and adobe reader use to work on my computer. Thank you. When I try troubleshooting the problem, “incompatible application” is listed under the troubleshooting report.

Since almost any compression format can be stored in an MOV file container, it would be nice to know what message the system is giving you, what codecs were used to create the file, and whether or not the file can be opened in any other media player.

Can you open excite mail in Safari any longer?

I have been using excite mail for many years with no problem. In the last few days, it has been no longer possible to open excite mail in Safari on my macbook pro. Any ideas of how to overcome this? From what I've read so far, Excite Mail has upgraded in some way, and lots of people are having the same problem, but they are on PCs, not a mac, so I haven't found any solution yet. PLEASE ADVISE!!!

Huh? Anytime I hit Reply to an excite email, the original message is turned into a garbled mess of html tags. That's been a problem for ohh...6 years or so.

Why is apple not addressing the C error from the LAST "update". I cannot open itunes to see if any repair has been done. There is nothing in apple support.

C++ error being caused by latest "itunes update". can no longer access itunes to do anything at all, cannot check for repair update.

I cannot open my iWeb site with any browser

I have had an iWeb site which has been live for about a month. It has been working perfectly. It still appears to be working well within iWeb. I can make changes and publish changes.
When I now search the internet using any browser, it says
[Safari] can't open the page "http://www.mydomain.com" because the server where this page is located isn't responding.
I have checked my .mac account and everything seems to be fully functional. Why has my site suddenly disappeared off the internet?

Try deleting thesee files.
com.apple.mobileme.configuration
com.apple.mobilemesyncclient
Here's the path: ~/Library/Caches/
Move those files to the Trash and retart your Mac.
Try to access your site. If that didn't help...
With iWeb open from the Menu Bar click File/Visit Published site
Then go to File/Publish Entire Site to MobileMe and see if that helps...

Also, In your Finder: Go/ iDisk / My iDisk which will mount your iDisk on your Desktop if it is't alerady there. Open your iDisk then go to the iDisk/ Web / Sites folder to see if your website folder is there along with an index.html file.

Oh dear, just another "Microsoft-ism" I need to learn.

I had CS3 installed on my windows 8.1 pc. There was an issue with the printer so i uninstalled and tried to reinstall. Now the Acrobat is removed and i cannot get the install to run any longer. It says setup already running.

I am running Windows 8.1, CS3 appears to be installed but when i go into the programs they will not work. I have attempted to remove thru add remove programs but it does nothing. I have tried to reinstall and it says there is already an instance running. HELP!

restart your computer and check your programs (x86) directory to see if cs3 is installed.
if it's not, install it. if it is, open one of your installed programs.
