Cannot open CS6, it craves JBX-plugin, and my Mac doesn't recognize the file so I can't download
I wonder why CS6 is not complete when downloaded? Why should I have to download JBX? If needed it should be a part of Indesign. My Mac doesn't have a name of a file to open and download, so now I simply don't have CS6 and can't convert my book to Kindle for sales on Amazon.

1. Sync wasn't intended to be used in that manner. You would be better off carrying around a USB Flash Stick with Portable Firefox for use on "strange" PC's.
2. You could open the "Library" {Ctrl + Shift + B} and highlight all those bookmarks and then delete them all at once. But that would also delete all the other bookmarks, and it isn't foolproof. All another person would need to do it to '''''restore''''' a bookmark backup file that has your bookmarks. Beyond that, a new Profile could be created and then the current Profile deleted; but that's "messing with" someone else's computer - an action that is worthy of terminating a friendship over, IMO.
And if that "public" computer was set up properly, Sync should have been disabled. -
I downloaded 2 cds onto my ipod nano through itunes. Recently my itunes account changed for some unknown reason and now it doesn't recognize the songs from the cds. The songs are still on my ipod. I am affraid to sync now because the songs may be deleated, and I don't have the cds anymore. How can I transfer the songs from the cds on my ipod back to itunes so that I don't lose them?
What you have on your computer is your iTunes library, not your "account." The "account" you have for iTunes is your Apple ID, which you use when purchasing or downloading from the iTunes Store. If these songs came from music CDs that you imported into iTunes, those songs are not related to your Apple ID.

How are they not "recognized"? Are the songs still listed in your iTunes music library, but grayed out? They no longer appear in your iTunes library at all?
If you search your computer (not in iTunes) for the song files, using one of the song names, can you find the song files? -
I'm trying to send music, scores and audio, as e-mail attachments, with a copy to my e-mail address. Whether I use .mus, .pdf, or .mp3, the error message says Preview doesn't recognize the file format. I haven't seen Preview, or had any problems, before now. Thanks for any suggestions.

Firstly, your country is detemined by several factors, including your phone's regional settings, your SIM card and your NokiaAccount settings, if you used this phone whilst abroad then you may need to check that your regional and account settings are up to date since you have arrived in Canada.
For services like Gigs, you should also ensure that the MixRadio app has access to your phone's GPS location as well as the main location being on in the phone settings. To check this, as well as Location being turned on in the phone settings, in MixRadio itself go to Settings>Location>On:
The concern with favourites may also be related to location, if the music from certain artists is available in Canada but not where the service might think you are, availability of content may vary from region to region.
If all settings in both the phone, your Nokia Account and the MixRadio app are correct, we may have to investigate deeper.
It is impossible to comment on your camera without seeing it, you cold have the phone checked by Nokia Care locally, but of course if it was supplied in Europe it will be covered by the European Limited Warranty which is not valid in Canada.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

When trying to move file and use command and drag, it doesn't move the file just creates a short cut.
Using command creates a copy.
If you want to just move a file, click on it, hold it and drag it to the new location. -
I've just installed Mac osx lion and my mac doesn't recognize (don't see) my audio interface. Focusrite Saffire pro 24 dsp.
I had no problems on snow leopard.

Hi. Just switched from PC to MAC (lion 6.7) and I am trying to import my bookmarks but Firefox for MAC will not recognize the Bookmark back up file. How do I move my bookmarks to my MAC from my PC?
Make sure that the backup file with the bookmarks has the correct file extension: .html for a HTML backup and .json for a JSON backup.<br />
You can check that via the right-click context menu of that file and open the Properties.<br />
If you are not sure about the file type then you can open the file in Firefox via "File > Open File"<br />
A JSON backup will show as one long text line without line breaks and a HTML backup as a web page with clickable links.<br />

My HP Compct laptop was dying a slow death so I had to reset it to its original factory settings. Now iTunes thinks it is a different computer, any idea how I can rectify it?
Yeah I have the original CDs. And I have backed up some stuff. But shouldn't things like safari and itunes be working anyway? The applications are there, they just won't open. Someone told me would lose my preferences and just had to update them again, but I can't do so cause safari doesn't work and internet explorer won't let me get on certain sites...

I created a movie w/ no theme and added my raw footage to it. I edited and was ready to export but wouldn't let me share the file. When I tried to export to a file, in the "Theater" view the progress bar stayed empty and there were no files created in the target folder.
I closed iMovie (since it should auto-save my work) to try again and when I re-opened iMovie (took a couple tries, as it froze the first time I opened it) there was no movie. No trace of any of the work I had done, other than the raw imported footage.
Two questions:
1) Why isn't iMovie autosaving the movie?
2) Why wasn't I able to export it?What exactly is the error you get?
How are you attempting this copy?
There's almost certainly a way to accomplish what you want to do (probably best from the terminal possibly copying the entire user dir and fixing up permissions, etc.) but I'm not sure you will end up with the results you want. There are plists in the preferences dir that you probably don't want to copy over (e.g., many of the com.apple.* prefererences). And many apps also create more than just plists. There may be stuff in Application Support, LaunchAgents, Internet Plug-Ins, etc.). And this would be stuff you do want to copy. Bottom line is it is not a trivial exercise which is probably why the system is slapping your hands for even attempting it -
I use iWork Pages '09 to create my images. I normally drag and drop photos from iPhoto directly to Pages.
With iPhoto 9.4.3 I now get an error: " The media can't be used because you don't have access privileges or because it has no content or is corrupt". This doesn't happen with every photo from the same event and doesn't get corrected after running 'Repar Permissions'. I can Export to desktop then drag to Pages but that is stupid. This looks like previews of some of your photos are missing or corrupted. Did you run a cleaning application, like "clean my mac" or move your iPhoto Library? Where do you store your iPhoto Library?
I'd try to repair the database or rebuild the iPhoto Library in addition to repairing permissions with the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools. Launch iPhoto with the command and options-key ⌥⌘ held down at the same time to get to the First Aid Tools.
Back up the iPhoto Library before you try rebuilding.

Here is my problem:
I'm unable to download the latest software iOS 6.0.1 to my iphone 4 because there is not enough available space. I tried to sync my iphone to itunes and it says, "itunes cannot read the contents of this iPhone. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings."
I backed up my data to icloud to ensure everything is backed up. Is there a way to verify if data was really backed up in icloud?
What else can I do in order to free up enough space to download the newest version iOS 6.0.1? Current version on the iphone is 5.1.1 and there is only 1.6 GB of space remaining. I need 2.5 to download the software.If you really are running OS 10.4.6 you have a long way to go!
