Cannot open InDesign because of Shortcut Editor Dialog Plug-In
Hi,
I have a Mac with the latest OS and just got InDesign CS3 but when I try to open it, I get a pop-up box that says "Cannot load Adobe InDesign because it requires Shortcut Editor Dialog. Please install the Shortcut Editor Dialog plug-in and restart Adobe InDesign." Unfortunately, when I try to run the plug-in on my computer (under Applications), it comes up as un-openable. Anyone have a solution to this problem or link to the plug-in? Thanks.

I am in the middle of a job using CS 6, but at the same time opening the Creative Suite apps. I created an InDesign file in CS 6, saved it, and now I can't open it. I'm getting this message: Cannot open file because it was saved with a newer version of Adobe InDesign CC (10.1). You must use that version or later to open the file." AARRGGHH! So how do I access the file?
Sounds like you opened and saved it in CC, so now you need to go back to CC and either complete the project there, or export to IDML to take it back into CS6.

To open an INDD file in the older version (CS4-CC), you need to save it as an IDML. For CS3 & older versions, save it as an INX.

I have a question about opening InDesign because I have messages I need answers to.
when I try to open InDesign I get a note:Cannot load Adobe InDesign CS3 because it requires Shortcut Editor Dialog. When I try to open Shortcut Editor Dialog it says there is no default application specified to open that document. Which application should I use?
OS X 10.6.8 I'm looking at my preferences now but don't really get it. When I went to install Shortcut Editor Dialog Plugin the message the message says : there is no default application specified to open the document Shortcut Editor. Then in the recommended application box it recommends iTunes or Garage Band. Huh?
HOw do I reset the preferences? -
I cannot open iCal because of a problem. Can anybody help me? The computer will not allow it to open and sends a message to apple each time. The icon has gone from the dock, but ical works on my iPad and I am afraid to sync it with my computer in case it wipes everything .
I have the exact same problem. I have not changed anything. This is probably a bug or something that has gone bad with Mac OS X (10.7.2). I have not found any solution for this on the web.

when I open my safari it will no longer go directly to my yahoo home page, says.. Safari cannot open page because too many redirects accured, how do I fix this.
Clear the cache in Safari and have another try

Ipad 1st gen. Safari cannot open page because address is invalid. I get this trying to download apps from itunes, infact it will do this under any variable. I have tried copy paste in url but it doesn't matter what i try, safari doesnt allow anyway i try. I have searched answers to this but to no avail.

Yes, I have not made myself clear, I apologise.
I have tried downloading apps from itunes in order to set up a game for my son, when I go to click on a link, be this in itunes, or on the web, Safari revolts back informing the address is invalid. I read by coping a link and pasting into the URL, this would do it, but not so.
My goal then, is to install Minecraft for my son, I would then download an app to allow this but I am unable to get this far due to Safari insulting the address I ask it to go to

How do I renew a provisioning profile that has expired on my phone? I use an app for the company I work for and I cannot open it because it says the provisioning profile has expired.
i'm not quiet sure atm but should normally work like this:
connect to itunes store -> log out with ur account (upper right corner where ur apple id is displayed) -> sign in with ur wifes apple id -> activate computer (store->activate this computer)
normally it should work this way but ur wife wont be able to use apps or music within itunes library purchased with the other apple id -
How to solve problem - " Safari cannot open page because it isn't connected to the internet" but the airport is ok. signal full and i have n IP address. and i m using Macbook pro.

I have the iPad basic first edition. For some reason my app store app is missing. On my games when I tried to update the apps I get a message that says safari cannot open page because address is invalid, but this happens even when I click directly on the prompt message that comes up when loading game. Also, it seems that my app store app has been deleted? I don't know how to get it back. When I try to download it I get the same safari message as afore mentioned.
Swipe to seethe farthest home screen to the left. Type in App Store in the search box and see if the app may have been accidentally placed into a folder with another app.
You cannot download apps using Safari. -

There is nothing you can do about but ask the seller for your money back. Without the previous owners applid password, you cannot activate and use that device - there is no way around that. iOS 7's Activation Lock needs to be disabled by the previous owner in order for you to use it - if they cannot (or willnot) produce the password to disable it, you have no options.
They can disable it remotely for you - see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5661 but not if they do not remember their own password. -

I cannot open InDesign CS4 all it does it show errors and then closes. These are the errors I get.
If you have the serial number with you then you can download the trial version of ID CS4 from Prodesigntools website: http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html. If you had a CS4 Suite then download the appropriate suite and if you had point product i.e. just InDesign then download from the links available for ID CS4 only. You have to be on the trial page of Adobe.com to be able to download from the links. Replace the http://www.prodesigntools.com/ with http://trials2.adobe.com/ <rest of the link here>.
