Cannot open infopath form
When I try to open the form from Sharepoint, I get an error message that there is an error in calculation, upon further detail:InfoPath
Your user name cannot be verified because the form's security settings do not permit it.
Error occurred during a call to property or method 'get-UserName'.
I have since changed security to allow full access and deleted the formula that calls for username & still cannot open. I can open via Sharepoint editor, but not when I try to create a new document from sharepoint.
Any suggestions??
Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your post.
Please try to add the SharePoint site to the “Intranet site” in IE browser. Here is a similar issue about this issue:
http://blog.michaellotter.com/category/0a09090909-InfoPath-Forms-Services0a-0a090909.aspx
It’s not an InfoPath security problem. Share your views.

I removed SkyDrive for Business and installed OneDrive for Business on my laptop. After that, I had problems opening a Word and Excel document in a SharePoint site (SP2013). After installing Service Pack2 from Office2010, this problem is solved.
But I still have the same problem with InfoPath. Whenever I click an InfoPath form (I have InfoPath 2010 on my laptop),...
... I get the error "cannot display web page".
When I change the URL
ms-infopath:ofe|u|http://intranet.water-link.be/samenwerken/awwit/Autorisaties/Gebruikersbeheer/2015-02-25%20Aanvraag%20gebruikersbeheer%20voor%20Stephanie%20Geeraerts.xml

I can open the InfoPath form and read it.
Any ideas about how to fix this ? I already tried to restore the Office 2010 via Control Panel - Install Programs but without any success...Hi Gert,
As I understand, you can’t open InfoPath form in SharePoint 2013 unless you change the URL without “ms-infopath:ofe|u|”.
There are some reasons which maybe cause this issue, and you can try to do things below:
Access CA -> General Application Settings -> Configure InfoPath Form Service -> Check the two options in User Browser-enabled Form Templates.
Go into the registry by typing regedit from the Run line and rename the SharePoint.OpenDocuments.5 key (ex. SharePoint.OpenDocuments.5.old) under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.
In library settings, click "relink documents to this library".

Requested registry access is not allowed when opening Infopath Forms on Sharepoint 2013
Hello Technet Community.
I hope this will help anybody out there that experienced this problem after patching Sharepoint 2013.
I have a distributed 3-tier Sharepoint 2013 environment. All of a sudden, after the last round of patched released on 7-Jul-2014, opening Infopath forms would throw a "something went wrong" error.
Looking at the ULS logs, you would see the error "Requested registry access is not allowed.".
I have looked at tons of posts on different blogs, and all pointed out that you need to grant "read" permissions to the application pool user (in my case a service account in AD) to the registry key (and subkeys):
HLKM/Software/Office Server/15.0
That indeed works, but it is not the proper way to do it. You should grant "read" permissions to this local group:
WSS_WPG
And special permissions to this local group:
WSS_ADMIN_WPG
Here is a snapshot of the special permissions needed
By the way, the WSS_PWG local group contains the app pool service account.
I do not know why patching Sharepoint removed these permissions from the registry keys, but oh well...
Anyway, Sharepoint is now happy and Infopath forms work as expected.
ClaudioCheck if your service account or infopath service account has access to server and specially registry
http://blogs.technet.com/b/spsforum/archive/2011/11/02/quick-solution-5-requested-registry-access-is-not-allowed.aspx
To solve the issue, please follow these steps:
Use the Process Monitor to monitor the registry, once you get the following ACCESS DENIED message(You can filter the result with “Result contains Access Denied”):
Date & Time: <date time>
Event Class: Registry
Operation: RegOpenKey
Result: ACCESS DENIED
Path: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0
TID: 2020
Duration: 0.0000297
Desired Access: Read
Open Registry Editor (Start > Run, type regedit)
Open key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office Server\14.0(got from Process Monitor from step 1)
Assign the SharePoint Timer Service account the Read permission to this key
One can open registry using regedit command. In Registery editor go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\15\Secure\FarmAdmin
Check central administration app pool Identity have permission on FarmAdmin. Permission can be check on right clicking FarmAdmin --> Permissions.

Customized Workspace Cannot open PDF forms anymore
Hello,
I have customizaed my workspace with Flex Builder 3, Flex SDK 2 Hotfix 3. In previous months, everything is ok, and my workspace with IE 7.0 can open PDF forms inside processes. However, I do not know what is changed, my previous customized workspaces and new customized workspace can not open PDFs inside IE, but works on Mozilla Firefox. I have also tested workspace source without changing anything and deploying my server. However it still can not open PDFs, blank part is shown inside the PDF frame.
It gives an javascript error, 'undefined' is null or not an object is given
Line: 35
Character: 2
Code: 0
Error Message: 'undefined' is null or not an object

What can be the problem,
Any prompt answers will be appreciated.
AsiyePDF forms can be created using Acrobat or LiveCycle but the basic structure of the forms created are very different. If the form is created by Acrobat then Adobe Mobile Reader can open the form. If the form is created by LiveCycle then Adobe Mobile Reader cannot open the form and I suspect there maybe no iOS app that can process the form.
As noted, you need to use a computer to fill-in the form. You also might want to inform the bank about the issue. -
Updated to FinalCut 7 - Cannot open my former projekts !!!
Horror!!!
I updated from FC6 to FC7.
Now I cannot open my former projekts. Final Cut is searching endlessly for RenderFiles, which do not exist any more and which were not needed, when I worked on that project in FC6.
I called already Apple Support and looked for a solution, but they could not help me. The support guy only could tell me, that new in FC7 is a searching mechanism using spotlight, which cannot switched off! Most probably that is the fault.
Has somebody the same problem or a solution or workaround?
It is horror! I had to cut the video till monday!Final Cut is searching endlessly for RenderFiles
Do you see a dialog offering to reconnect to the files? Simply click on Continue and re-render. -
Open Infopath form in Modal Popup.
Hello Guys,
I am having SP2013 and I wanted to open my Infopath 2013 forms in to Modal popup in SP2013. At present if I am trying open info path forms, it redirect to the page instead of opening form in to modal popup.
Do anybody have idea how can we open Infopath form in to modal popup instead redirecting to the page.
Thanks in Advance,Hi Suhil,
You can use SP.UI.ModalDialog.OpenPopUpPage to open a InfoPath form in a model dialog, format is like below.
http://marriedtosharepoint.com/2012/01/15/open-an-infopath-form-in-a-dialog/
<div>
<a href="javascript:{ SP.UI.ModalDialog.OpenPopUpPage('http://sp/_layouts/15/FormServer.aspx?XmlLocation=/form1/test.xml&ClientInstalled=false&DefaultItemOpen=1&Source=http%3A%2F%2Fsp%2Fform1%2FForms%2FAllItems%2Easpx', null, 1000); };">Open form</a></div>

Unable to open InfoPath form on the browser
Though we have enabled the "Open in the browser" option, some of the users are not able to open the InfoPath for on the browser. It throughs an error message saying,
"This form cannot be opened in the browser. To open this form, use Microsoft InfoPath."
Am I missing any configuration?
I tried the option given in this link as well,

Vijayaragavan, MCTShello Vijayaragavan,
definitely a browser issue, i've seen this A LOT in firefox, where it would open some forms, and throw the same error you got on other times!
-make sure you use IE with sharepoint (check SharePoint browser compatibility) as other browsers would have some feature not functioning as supposed to.
-Add the SharePoint site to trusted sites (Internet options> Security tab> Trusted sites)
-re-publish your form, and make sure the "Enable this form to be filled out by using a browser" is checked.

Not able to open infopath form connected with database in sharepoint 2010
Hi,
I have created one infopath form which is connected with sql server database.
Now when i am trying to open this form from sharepoint, its giving me following error:
Please help to solve this issue.
Thanks & Regards
rajniHello,
If i understood you correctly, you have SP list and there are some records. Now you want to open your infopath form when clicks on add new item in the same list. I am still confuse about "from table 'Account'" this line. Are you saying that you are fetching
records from SQL table to PS list?
Anyway, you can modify the existing list form infopath so you could be able to open the infopath form instead of default newform.aspx page. Later you can create a new data connection in that customize form to display data in table format from same list.
You can follow this video for connection:

Does anybody knows how I can get rid of this error message in the first time of loading the from?

Unable to open InfoPath forms with large attachments in browser
We have been running a infopath solution on SharePoint 2010 for a couple of years now. The form is rendered in the browser, but when the attachments are large in size (seems like a ~10MB limit for the form), the system would not allow the user to edit the
form in the browser. Instead the browser pops up with a dialog say: "What to you want to do with [FILENAME].xml? Open | Save | Save as.
Forms less than 10MB renders perfectly in the browser
Are anyone able to clarify what is going on and how we can fix it?Hi Allen,
According to your description, my understanding is that you could not edit the form when the attachment was more than 10MB in SharePoint 2010.
Please go to Central Administration > General Application Settings > Configure InfoPath Forms Services , in the user session section, increase the "Maximum size of user session data" to the size that you want, compare the result.
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Wendy

oracleuserHi oracleuser;
Please check Hussein Sawwan's post first and be sure you have correct syntax:
Hi,
In addition to the above, please note that you are not using the correct/complete command to compile the form -- See (Note: 130686.1 - How to Generate >Form, Library and Menu for Oracle Applications) for the command.
Regards,
Hussein If you sure you are using correct syntax than as i and Shailendra point, be sure you have w/r permission for your XXNPOPNJOBLOG.fmb file. For can see this issue is:
ls -lrt /s01/oracle/prodappl/au/11.5.0/forms/US/XXNPOPNJOBLOG.fmb << this will give you permission righ for your XXNPOPNJOBLOG.fmb file
For can open my links you have to login metalink then put Note ID to search button, then i belive you will find notes
Hope it helps

Open Infopath form from external place
Hello,
could you please to help to found solution with my task -
i have my custom list in SP 2013 corporate site.
i made i infopath forms to add new, edit and modify list's items.
when i click on edit or title item it is ok, infopath form opened in web broser as new modal window like ifs template.
currently if an item is changed the workflow send a message to last "modified" user with some text and kink to change item again if it need. but my link doesn't working as i want.
i want to have hyperlink to open the same editifs.asx form as if it opening by clicking edit field button for item directly my list. (in modal popup window)
form template stored in the same list http://.../teams/it/Lists/2/Item/template.xsn
i want to send a hyperlink to open formso... normally the link should always reference a READ / VIEW of the item... the decision to EDIT the item should be a second click...
with that in mind, you shouldn't link to EditIFS.aspx, but rather just tell SP to open the item (read mode) in the browser... which can be accomplished with the OpenIn=Browser URL parameter

Cannot Open Java Forms in EBS 12.0.6
Hi all,
I need instant help.
I recovered our PROD database serving EBS 12.0.6 using RMAN InComplete Recovery.
Then I ran cmclean.sql
I turned on application using adstrtall.sh
I have reload JAR files, and compiled jsp pages also. I also cleared Java cache on my Internet Explorer.
When I click e.g. System Administrator --> Security : User --> Define, it should open Java Forms i.e. popup Java Applet. But it is not happening. All services are up on Application Server.
Br,
AnjumGeneration of JAR files was successful.
It seems java console gives same error:

Cannot open Requstion form in R12
Hi Team,
when am trying to open requestion form in R12..
It is pooping up with a note saying you are not setup as worker..you need to be worker in order to access the form..
How i can i do this?
with HRMS?
Please Advise
ThanksHi,
Welcome to Oracle Forum!!!!!!!!!
Yes you are right, you need to create employee details using HRMS in R12...
Basically you have to follow 3 steps here..
1) Define yourself as an Employee through HRMS Super User Responsibility
*2) Use Application/System Administrator responsibility --> Users Administrator --> Query your user name --> in the person field identified yourself i.e use the employee name which you just created through HRMS (e.g. DASH, Mr. SP). Save the record.*
3) Return to Purchasing responsibility.. start creating requisitions...
Hope it helps..
Kind Regards,

Cannot open a form for editing after publishing.
Hi,
I was using Infopath on my local machine. Just to check how to publish it, I clicked on the option to publish.
I had saved the .xsn file on my local. Now when I try to open it, it opens as a form. Not in edit mode. I need to edit it further before doing the final publish.
Please help.
/AbhishekHi, right click on the .xsn file and choose Design. It should open with Full Toolbar.
