Cannot open ipod on iphone 4 with iOS 4.3.2 What should I do?
I could not open my ipod on my phone. When I connect it to laptop it says 'itunes was unable to load provider data from sync service'. Could anybody please tell me what should I do?
many people have commented on this happening I think its a bug in the software and will hopefully be fixed in a future update

you can update over the air with strong wireless signal, or by connecting to a computer running iTunes. Either works well. If you do the update over the air, be sure and attach your iPhone to a wall outlet so you have a solid power supply and don't risk the battery dying during the update.
The iTunes approach installs a much larger file because of the connection, but if you have not updated since 5.1 that might be a better approach...replace the entire operating system instead of patching.
Either way, backup the iPhone yourself just for your own protection in the off-chance something should go wrong...a little paranoia while updating is a good thing -

Many thanks!!yes, everything else seems to work except bluetooth. it just keeps searching all the time and none of my devices see the phone including macbook, iMac or speakers. I've reinstalled the system and reset it as well, Ive also followed one advice that's on one of the forums where it was suggested to switch the flight mode on, reset the phone and switch the flight mode off. No results.

Cannot use aipprint from iphone 4 with ios 5.0.1. does not find the hp m1212nf laser.
have a hp m1212nf mfp(airprint compatible according to the hp web site) hooked up via usb to mac running OS 10.6.8., other mac hooked up via router to same network, Can print from both machines to the printer, which has the latest firmware installed.

Any suggestions??In order to print using Air Print you will need to make sure your iphone 4 is connected to the same wi-fi network as the printer is. Also, what is the make and model of your router ?

Cannot edit contacts on iPhone 4S with iOS 6
My friend changed his number so I went to contacts and edited his phone no. However in a few minutes the contact number reverts back to the old one. I tried this twice...and it still reverts back to old no. What's happening? My contacts are NOT synched with icloud. Please help !
I am having the same problem - across 4 computers and 6 iOS devices all synced to the same iCloud account. It just started happening last week. If I edit a card on any device and click Done, it appears to save the edits...but within 60 seconds it reverts back to the old data - AND it adds the edited info in a new field. So if I edit a person's home phone number, it will revert back to the old phone number AND add the new edited phone number in a second Home Phone field. Does the same thing with addresses and email addresses. Needless to say it is making a mess of our address book and I'm at a loss. I will try systematically taking devices offline to see if the problem persists as I remove various iPhones and computers from the picture. I called Apple Support but got a guy who was actually more clueless than me.

My iPhone 4 with iOS 6 is making me start to hate Apple. Any App and at any time I open and I can not view it or move for more than 2 minutes, they close themselves. During connections, it also gives this problem and the signal disappears after a few seconds back but often the person on the other end has hung up ... I can not stand it anymore, someone suggests something?
Besides these problems, there is the battery, which was bad got worse, she is not lasting more than 10 hours, even without using the phone.
Sometimes it even seems that the problem was solved, but my joy did not last long after I celebrate all the problems return, is incredible ...

How can I open more than one tab in Firefox Home on an iphone 4 with ios 4.3.1? I can access the tabs page but all the entries are blank and I can't find a way to open a new page in a new tab.
That doesn't fix the problem which seems to be more of a bug, but that's a great solution. In fact I think I like that more than right clicking. Thanks.

What version of iTunes do you have installed? If you are trying to update to iOS 6 you need iTunes 10.7 or later.

Updating iphone 4 with ios 7 software. Made it thru download and am now setting up security questions and it says optional rescue Email. However I do not have the option to skip this page. I even submitted a rescue email and registered it with my apple id on this website but cannot progress in set up. Am I missing a step? Phone is now in emergency mode only! Not sure what to do next.... Any suggestios?
Forgot to add that I want to power my phone off but cannot due to broken button... Any other way to power this phone off to help fix original problem!!
