On iTunes there Ida. System error stating that the program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from my computer.
I'm assuming you're running on windows 7? Tons of people have been having this issue.
This should fix it. Good luck:)

trying to istall itune on pc windows vista error 7 and missing msvcr80.dll
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Need to re-install missing/corupt dll files on Win 7 Home Premium
Had a power failure from a storm while I was on vacation. When I returned, I noticed I am having problems with long boots and the system is no stable at boot-up. Win Start-up repair no help - can't fix problem. I was not able to restore to a previous good point,
as NOW there are NO restore points on my OS drive. Would like to just restore all or part of the WIN 7 Home Premium as it appears there is no MS disk to repair. I might even have a problem with the disk hardware or boot sectors. Not sure at
this point. Any help to recover without a complete re-install would be great!Steve
If you feel you have ‘dll’ corruption problems, run the System File Checker (SFC) from an elevated Command Prompt, i.e. click the Windows Orb (Start) > All Programs > Accessories and right-click Command Prompt, then ‘Run as Administrator’. Type sfc
/scannow (note the space) and press Enter. This may take some time and, depending upon your installation of Windows and what is corrupted, you may have to put the DVD in the drive.
If SFC finds a problem, it will attempt to replace the file(s) from the Winsxs folder. However, if the file is not in \Winsxs or if \Winsxs is corrupted, you will be prompted to insert the Windows DVD. -

I get the message 'itunes has encountered a problem and needs to close' when trying to open itunes 11.1.1.11. I had to uninstall itunes so that I could load this version as the update to version 11 kept failing. The PC says 11.1.1.11 is correctly loaded, but I now cannot open itunes. Any advice on how to get itunes working again?
Hello there, ytnoj.
Uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes can be a tricky endeavor and must be done in a very specific way. The following Knowledge Base article provides the step-by-step of the process:

I updated my itunes to 11 and found out my phone and ipod were not compatible. I uninstalled it and reinstalled 10.7 but now I get an error message when I try to open itunes saying "the file cannot be read because it was created by a newer verison" What do I do?
Thank you for clarify I'm supposed to read the ENTIRE article. I thought I was just supposed to read the title and magically everything will fix itself. I appreciate you taking the time to help me however I do not appreciate the caps and the way you have addressed the situation. If you are not going to kindly help people/make suggestions just don't try! And for the record my conclusions are not illogical, the iOS7 thing is on the website in small font (which I got by reading the ENTIRE thing) and you should really find a new hobby because your socialization skills need some help! That goes for you too Chris. Not everyone is a tech nerd
