These are your options:
1. Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.
2. Repair or rebuild the library.
3. Scavenge the library with a third-party application called "iPhoto Library Manager," which you can find in a web search. From the application's menu bar (not the iPhoto menu bar), select
Library ▹ Rebuild
Books, calendars, and slideshows won't be preserved.

I have looked up how to print a web page and did exactly as shown on the screen (I did select my printer) but when I want to print a Web page I only get a blank page. I also cannot save as PDF in the Print Dialog Box because I get a blank page there too.
I have tried to disable all my add-ons and extensions and re-enabling them one by one and it did not change anything.
Although I did not specifically notice the exact date, I feel this has been happening since I have upgraded to Mac OS 10.6.4

Wow! After several different attempts to solve my printing problems , the one that worked was the suggestion that I hit "Reset Firefox" button on the Troubleshooting Information page. Once I did that and got back in I was able to print pages correctly. Thank you for all your help and patience.

Mozilla Firefox did not do their job, here. I am an editor and am constantly online. Now, I have to go to Safari to download PDFs. I reinstalled an earlier version of Firefox to get rid of the problem, but somehow Firefox has deactivated my PDF download feature. This is a total wreck and I am so angry I could spit. Stop launching new products until you have fully tested them. Customers are not your guinea pigs. Please fix this now- and fire a few idiots on the way- the ones who let this happen.

You can do that by using an add-on such as:

Another way of opening the home page in a new tab is to middle click on the home button in the navigation toolbar.

This same question was asked & answered earlier today. I'll use my same response & the same screenshot I used then.
Skimming the templates in the Template Chooser shows you all of the pages available in the template once you open it. You can insert the one(s) you want, even more than one of any of them. Most users don't want or need all of the different pages, especially when they start the document.

Using Adobe XI, when trying to open PDF I get a blank page with small "x." How can I open the docume

Ocassionally I will try to open a PDF. The document is not viewable. I can only see a white page with a small black "x" in the top portion of the page. I have a "repair" in adobe. I have the latest version Adobe XI. Any suggestions on what I can do? I need access to the documents asap.

Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer, after i add the exception, get the certificate i get a blank page with big letters NOT FOUND.

www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for 78-159-121-201.local
(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)
After i add an exception for the site, i get this:
Certificate Status:

Wrong site:
Certificate belongs to a diffrent site, which could indicate an identity theft.
Unknown Identity
Certificate is not trusted, because it hasn't been verified by a recognized authority.
And then a blank page with big letters "Not Found"

Do NOT add a security exception: someone is tampering with your internet connection!
When you ask to connect to these sites using https, Firefox gets a certificate from the website which responds. Anyone can make a certificate, but to be valid the certificate must be signed by an organization which Firefox trusts.
The person responding provided a certificate with its response which which was not signed by anybody, so Firefox doesn't know who sent the response, and neither do you.
In short: you asked to talk to google and google did NOT send the response.
As this is happening for several different websites, the attacker is probably on the network between your computer and the internet. Ask the people you get your internet connection for help: they may have had their computers hacked, may discover that the problem exists further along in the network, or they may even be responsible themselves.

Cannot open photos in iphoto

When I double click on an event my photos will not open.
I have tried view options, show library- the option is not available to click
im on mac version mavericks/ iphoto version 9.5.1.

Hi Larry, thanks for the reply. That did not work. When I click the event in iphoto, then double click to open, it does nothing. I can however click the event, then click edit and scroll through the pictures that way. It is a suitable but inconvenient work aorund and frustrating nonetheless.
I did what you suggested and clicked through all the repair options unfortunately that did not resolve the problem. I still can't double click the event to open the photos. I can also see the files in the finder view under master and thumbnail folder... which will open the photo in iphoto but still the original issue remains.
Any other suggestions?

Right click on the document and select Open with-Adobe Acrobat. Or right click on the document and select get info, go to the open with drop down menu and select Acrobat. If you want all documents of that type to open with Acrobat check the box.

When I click the View option to view a document on my insurance website, I only get a blank screen with words Mozilla Firefox, and below it, "Search Bookmarks and History" in the upper left corner of the screen.

I hadn't restarted after disabling SearchMenu. Having restarted, it would appear that the problem was, in fact, SearchMenu. Which was my suspicion. Once Find highlights a "word" SearchMenu interrupts to offer its services. I guess I'll post on their board, to see if there's a solution.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. When I click print preview I get a blank page with the toolbar but no preview just ads for POGO and yahoo search. WHY?

Printer info, # of pp. page set-up, scale, & portrait or landscape choices are at the top of the page, but there is no preview print showing at all. Just a web search box and a POGO ad are visible in an otherwise blank page. What do I have to do to see the page I am trying to preview?

Did you post this from the computer with the problem?
It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware.
Look thru your add-ons list and make sure you know what each one is

Photo file transfer from mobile phone onto Mac-cannot open photos in iPhoto

Message reads: "Unreadable files: 1 The following file could not be imported. (The file is in the iPhoto Library Folder.)"
I have successfully transferred photos from my mobile phone into my iPhoto Library, however I cannot see or edit these in iPhoto. They have been transferred as Preview shots and are only viewable in Finder: /Users/aaronandjuliemuir/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Fiji Iguana with Max.jpg
Why can't I see these in my actual iPhoto application?
