Cannot open pictures in Photo Album

Hello, I have got a ipod 4th Generation and I'm having trouble because I cannot open pictures at the top of the screen because the Album heading is in front of it and I can't slide the picture down the screen.
Can anyone help please?
Many Thanks.

Try closing your Photo Album app.  To do this, double click the home button to bring up the multitasking bar.  Tap your finger over the Photo Album app (or any app listed in the multitasking bar) and hold it until a small minus sign appears in the upper right hand corner.  Tap this to close the App.  Then try reopening it.  Any luck there?
Otherwise a hard reset may be necessary.  To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

cannot open pictures in Window 8.1...getting message 'the remote procedure call failed".  What is the solution?
I recently bought a new HP computuer and uploaded Window 8.1.  I then transfered photo files from old computer to new computer using a portable storage drive.
When trying to view the photos, a message pops up showing a file path...and the message 'the remote procedure call failed'.  Photos are in jpeg format.
Please let me know what I can do to view photos?

What program you use to view these photos? Choose another app to view these photos
     for a test.
This issue only occurred when you view photo? What is the result if we connect the
portable storage drive to other computer (if possible)?
Run sfc/scannow to check and fix if there are some missing or corrupted system files.
Check the event viewer to see the detailed information of this issue.

Where are you selecting the photos you want to remove from the Photo Stream?
This should work:  See: How to delete photos from Photo Stream
On a Mac using iPhoto 9.2.2 or later, or Aperture 3.2.3 or later:
Select a photo or group of photos from the Photo Stream (or My Photo Stream) view in iPhoto or Aperture.
    Press the Delete key.
    Click Delete.

remove double pictures in photo album

I guess this is not a Small Basic programming language question and you will need to give more details like what photo album program you are using and try a forum for that application.
If it is a Small Basic question, then show your code so far and more details.

  • CANNOT OPEN OR EDIT PHOTOS SINCE INSTALLING iLIFE 08 and OS 10.5

I have recently installed iLIFE 08 and OS 10.5.1 and I cannot open or edit or use any of the photos in iPhoto. I get a white circle with an exclamation point in the center each time I try open open a photo.
I did back up iPhoto before installing the new software. Should I reinstall from the back up or is there another fix for this problem. Thank you in advance for the help.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. I believe that's an indication of a permissions issue. Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the option to repair permissions.
If that doesn't fix it download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administrator login name, long or short, in the owner section and the current group in the group section. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • UNABLE to save pictures to photo album from SMS text

I have the 16GB 3GS, and no e-mail or SMS text that contain pictures can be saved to my photo album. Each time I select save picture, nothing happens. I have restored my iPhone 3 times from back ups and once as "a new phone" loosing all my app settings.

Well, got home and resynced and restored my iphone
When you restored your new phone, did you restore it from the backup of your old phone? If so, that "could" be your problem. Something in your backup could very well be corrupt, thus restoring your problem to your new phone. Why not try restoring your phone as a "new" device in itunes, followed by syncing your content back to your phone. If this solves your issue, that would confirm your old backup is corrupt.

  • Cannot import pictures for my albums?

    Hey
I have recently purchased the lovely iPod Touch and I would therefore like to download the pictures for my music. However, when I attempt this, I am told that the program was unable to download the pictures for some albums. I attempted to get pictures for a little over 500 songs and iTunes was unable to download 344 of them...
    How can this be?
    Best regards
    Jesper

iTunes will only download covers for albums that are on sale in the store, if any of the songs aren't available in the iTunes Store you'd have to add the artwork for them manually. The automatic method also suffers from the occasional spelling quirk, for instance I recall reading that the last Radiohead album was listed (for a time at least) under Radioheads. You'll get information on both methods of adding artwork at this link: iTunes 7 for Mac - Adding artwork to songs and other items
If you can't find the album covers you want from iTunes you can get them from various other sources. I find this site is a good source of artwork: CD/Album Cover Art Search from SlothRadio.
Another place for finding suitable artwork is to go to Amazon. You can also locate artwork using Google image search and put the artist or album name. Locate the album from any of those sources, right click (or Control - click) on the image, choose "save image to the desktop" and once it's there drag it to the iTunes artwork pane. Once you've added the artwork you can either delete the original file or keep it in a folder somewhere in case you need to use it again.
If you have a scanner you can create your own artwork files by scanning the CD cover itself, this is particularly useful when you are dealing with rare recordings.

  • I cannot open pictures in Ipad emails. Is this normal?

I am finding I can't open pictures that are sent to me with the IPAD. Is it supposed to be like this, or is there an app for that? TY

Thanks. Some have problems at times opening previously opened attachments. Perhaps others will com up with a suggestion. Meanwhile, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe! ........ and try your emails again.

  • Cannot open pictures attached to text messages...

When I attempt to open pictures or attachments attached to text messages the screen goes to black and it says "loading" but nothing happens...any thoughts?

Try a reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see what happens.

  • Cannot remove pictures from photo library

hi everyone... somebody can help me to delete pictures in photo library?

To remove images in the Photo Library you need to use iTunes.
iTunes puts those images on the iPhonel it syncs them from a source on your computer.
So you need to use iTunes to 'unsync' those images to remove them.
    Hope it helps.

  • IOS 8.3 - Cannot sync .Tiff, .Png, or .bmp pictures via Photos album sync

    Here is another discovery!
8.3 does not allow pictures on an iPad that were saved as .tiff, .png, or .bmp
If these file formats are in your Photo Library, and you decide to sync an album to your iPad, these formats will not move over.

  • Can't open camera and photo album.

Initially, it was still working fine as I was taking photos. However, it hang suddenly after I took another photo. After which, the camera closes after taking a photo. Also after touching on the camera roll, the album just closes. I also couldn't copy the photos to my computer as the iphone does not show up in the "My Computer" window. I've tried restoring and syncing it but it doesn't work. However, if i restore it as a new iphone or an older dated backup, the problem is resolved. But the photos will be gone and I really want to keep the photos, can anyone help?

Having the same issue. Can't open Photos app at all. Just closes. Can't even access any of my pictures (Library) through FB, Twitter, Photo Edit apps, etc. Whenever I try to access photos in any of these, the app closes and takes me back to the Home screen. What is happening?
