Cannot open scripted pattern dialog. Default values will be used.

Hello everybody!
After I updated Photoshop to 14.2 I have an issue with Scripted patterns. I can select all of them, but when i click OK this pops up:
And I can't pick any settings for my scripted patterns.
My GPU is nVidia GeForce GTX 660 (non-Ti) with 2GB of VRAM. All of the GPU Acceleration features are enabled in Photoshop.
The issue is the same both on 32bit and 64bit version of Photoshop.
I'm on Windows 8.1 x64.
I tried turning of "Use OpenGL" in the Scripted patterns settings file in "Photoshop/Presets/Deco", still doesn't work.

Start Photoshop as Administrator, look if this works. For me this did the trick, it was a rights issue....

I get this error when i restart the SSRS services, so the reports pages will not load. I heard this was a permissions issue. I have tried putting in the url to the reports page with no luck.

It’s a common error message. The root cause should be the incorrect configurations of Reporting Services. Have you backed up the RSreportserver.config before making modifications to the configuration file? If so, please revert back the changes by restoring
the configuration file backup. If possible, please configure the Reporting Services through the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
If it is not the issue, please post more error details in the Reporting Services log file for further analysis. If the Reporting Servces service is running, also post the error message when viewing the report server web service.

What does it say if you want to open the application? I think you should restore the factory settings!!!! If it doesn't work then update your software!!!!

Is it set to back up to iCloud now?
Or do you have wifi backup enabled in iTunes?
Plug it in while on wifi and it will automatically back up.

I have no problem opening PDF attachments that arrive in my Outlook 2003 Inbox; they open fine with Adobe Reader 9. It may be an issue with your email client.
But if you think that Adobe Reader 8 will fix it, you can download it from http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/8.x/8.1.3/enu/AdbeRdr813_en_US.exe - make sure that you uninstall Reader 9 first (and Acrobat.com & Adobe AIR).

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

Since install PE12 I cannot open raw files by default

When I double click on a raw file to open, it opens in PE11 by default instead of newly installed PE12. If I right click on any image file to select OPEN WITH PE11 shows by default. I have added PE12 however, when I select it to OPEN WITH, PE12 launches by the file never opens.

Yes, Control Panel | Programs and Features | Uninstall or Change Program is exaclty what I was referring to and where I am looking. As mentioned, neither PSE11 or PSE12 are listed.
However, I was able to uninstall PSE11 using the Microsoft FIX IT tool. The FIX IT tool removed the application or at least the parts that launch the app. I had to manually go in an remove the PSE11 folder which required much playing with the folder permissions.
Once PSE11 was removed I tried to associate the raw files on the computer to open with PSE12.. No luck!
So, I ran the PSE12 setup which complained that PSE12 was already on the computer and needed to be removed. So I selected the removal option. However, once again the removal did NOT remove the PSE12 folder and all the files.
I then ran the PSE12 installation again, this time installing the application and now all works as expected. The RAW files are now associated with the PSE12 and open as expected.

How to set default value for Zfeild using statusprofile

I need to set a default value for a zfeild using status profile.Although we can default the values,using getter and setter methods,but in my requirement,the feild will be defaulted when the page is locked,also in display mode,which will require me to write code to unlock then set the value and then write a commit,as there wont be any user action performed.
I have created a zstatus profile and have set the required status to inital,but no luck
please suggest if this canbe achived through status profile.

Hi,
You can check in the getter if the Page is locked and then display the value to want to display. Note that this will be just Displaying the default value for the Zfield and it will not set the default value into the Zfield in DB, because when the document is locked ( means locked for editing - mostly when system status is completed ) , setters are not called and so you can display the value but cant set it. This is fine if the value you want to display in Z field is just for user's informations and its not required to save this default value.
The best approach would be to set the value in the Zfield before the page is locking. For example, If you wat to set the zfield value when status is set to "Completed" , then you can configure an action that is 1) triggered during saving of the document with 2) start condition "When status is completed" ( both 1 and 2 you can mention in action defination ), then Implement this action badi in which you can set the Zfield to default value.
This will ensure that default value is always set whenever the page is getting locked for editing ( i assumed that page lock means status completed ).

Default value of combobox using dynamic LOV in Oracle Portal form

We are trying to specify the deafult value of a combobox on a form that derives it options from a dynamic LOV. The option value is a number and the display is text.
E.g.
<Option value="1">Books
<Option value="2">CDs
We have tried various ways of setting the default option to be selected on the Combobox. First, we tried using a sql query to return a number from a table (sql query returns number -> in the default value type field). Next, we tried to use a constant number (default value: 2, default value type: constant). In neither case, did the Oracle Portal form pre-select our default choice in the drop-down list.
Any suggestions? I browsed the other forum articles on this topic and noticed several folks believed it was a bug in Portal. We are using Portal version 3.0.9 (latest App Server for the Ebusiness Suite). Thanks in advance.

You can manually add the select list (or for that matter anything else) to a wizard created form. If the select list is for an existing item, simply change the "Display As" setting from Text to a Select List based on the LOV you create. Any changes made will then be applied by the update process.

Set default value to field using Personalization

Hi all,
I want to set the default value for 'Comments' field in Termination screen (OAF) in Manager Self Service responsibility. I used OAF Personalization to set the Initial Value, but it didnt work. I tried logging off but in vain.
I tested creating a new field with default value and it works fine.
How I ensure that default value given in Personalization, is overidden by Controller or not? Does it require Controller extension?

May be in ProcessRequest the value will be refilled by the standard program.
De compile the Controller and check in ProcessRequest, the "Comments" value getting changed.
If yes, You have to extend the controller and get the handle of the item and set the value.

Creating a filter and Sending default value to it using designer on SAP BW

Here goes my question:
We have a cube which contains HR related data. I want to query data in such a way that it gets me data for the current month and year. The time dimension contains a hierarchy called Calendar Year/Month which has values u201CFEB 2009u201D, u201CMAR 2009u201D and so on. I want to create a WebI Report which should take Current month as MAR (since current month is March) and Current Year as 2009 and pass u201CMAR 2009u201D to the query without useru2019s intervention so basically itu2019s a default value. Similarly, when the month and year changes, this value should reflect the new values (i.e. APR 2009 when April 2009 arrives).The final outcome should be a dashboard displaying information using WebI Report.
Kindly guide me step by step if there is a possible way to achieve it on SAP BW (OLAP datasource) using BO Universe designer/WebI and by using MDX wherever necessary.
Otherwise, is there a possibility of creating Filter in Universe which takes something like Month(Current Date) and Year(Current Date), append them and pass it as a parameter to BW cube; If yes, how?

As to overlays, buttons will not appear (the highlights) until the loop point of the menu, but if ellements are in the background (video) then they will appear. If you do not want those items (in the background) to appear to the loop point you need to fade it in or otherwise do whatever effect you want in the background video. Hi I am using LabVIEW DSC 7.1 for programming my application. My VI contains NI hypertrend which I am publishing on a browser using the web publishing tool. When I open the web browser on a different computer I get this error- Component works Error loading Control. A newer version needed. The default settings for the control will be used. I have disabled firewall, pop up blocker etc...but for some reason it keeps giving me the same error. I read the knowledge base and it talks something about the .OCX file. I am not sure what I am supposed to do..I also have the DSC runtime installed in my machine. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me with this.

If you're on a 64-bit OS, OCX files must be in the folder: %windir% \ SysWOW64
and not in %windir% \ System32 (only for 32 bits OS)

In Custom Form A, in the global variables i have store the value , How to populate default value to Form B using in custom library.
I tried using COPY, but its not working?

This will throw an error because the COPY built-in takes 2 Varchar2 parameters (Source and Destination). When you use the COPY built-in, you pass references to the objects not the objects themselves. Therefore, the reference to the global variable :GLOBAL.EXP_PRO would have to be passed as a string to COPY.
Looking at your original post, you have a COLAN in the destination string. Try the following:
