Cannot open youtube in 5.1.1.

This is weird, my iPad 2 can't open youtube app after updating to 5.1.1, tried both 3G and wi-fi the app keeps showing "cannot open" message all the time, haven't tried my iPhone with the same os yet.

Excuse me. Did you say beta software? I'm not the most up-to-date and informed on Apple these days, but since when did Apple start releasing (relatively inexpensive) software for the end user to test and discover major bugs in?
I have basically done what you suggested. I was lucky enough to have access to a 2008 Macbook Air that still has Pages 09 on it. I opened the week-old working copy in Pages 5.1 on the current laptop I am using, exported it to Pages 09, then opened and saved the corrupted version in PDF format and gave it to a colleague who used scanning software to scan and then turn it into a Microsoft Word document. From the Word document I then cut and pasted the lost parts into the Pages 09 version. A lot of the text was gibberish from the poor quality of the PDF, but it was better than nothing. In the end, I 'only' lost 2 days work.
I wrote my PhD thesis in Pages 09 without any major hiccups (except learning the hard way back then that one still had to manually save every few minutes). Your wry but appreciated remark about Pages 5 is actually quite troubling when you think about it....

My guess is that the videos are posting in a format that Safari can't use, such as flash.

Due to traffic it may happen. But if you are getting this problem frequently then, please reinstall firefox.
I am also using firefox on windows 8.1 but, have not encountered this problem.

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Follow the prompts. Click Safari in the menu bar and then Quit Safari .
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
    Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.
    Adobe Flash Player
    Currently open website:
    All other websites"
    Select "Allow" then "Done".
3. Delete cookies.
     Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
     Press the “Remove All Website Data” button. It may take a while.
4. Turn off Extensions, if any.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions
     Now try YouTube.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You're right. It wasn't QuickTime itself. I solved all the problems myself.
The main reason why QuickTime files weren't working was because the newest audio driver from Creative released July 2007 (using their autoupdate) is apparently for Windows Vista (it has the name Vista in the update title). Why that update showed up on my Windows XP Pro system, I have no idea. So, I went to Creative's site and got the driver before the latest release, and all works well.
The Microsoft update (from June 2007, I noticed today, not July) is another issue. It's based around the file P17RunE.dll, which is something from Microsoft for the SoundBlaster. Not sure what it does, but I don't need it.
Sorry for wasting all your time on a non QuickTime issue, but thanks for the help.

Uncheck the box next to " Remove saved names and passwords".
Click "Reset".
Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.

Firefox cannot buffer when open youtube

In my old computer, when I open youtube video firefox can buffer the video, so that when I go offline it still can play the video from cache. But now, in my new computer (I use Firefox 3.6 for start up) when I open video in youtube it can't buffer. when I go offline it can't play it again. When I checked in cache, it turn out firefox still save the video there.
What is wrong with my firefox? I already try to match the setting and extension and plugin with the old one, but still not change anything. Please help... Thank you.

problem solved. I just erased all cookies and history then restart Firefox. It works buffers ok!

Check to see if Safari is running in 32 bit mode. Right or control click the Safari icon in your Applications folder then click Get Info. If the box next to: Open in 32 bit mode is selected, deselect, quit then relaunch Safari to test.
If that wasn't the issue, try using OpenDNS.
Use OpenDNS for better speed, more security, prevents the, "can't connect to server" issue, includes anti phishing filters, prevents browser re directs, and it's free.
Open System Preferences / Preferences then select the Network tab. Click the Advanced tab then click the DNS tab.
Click +
Enter these addresses exactly as you see them here.

Indesign cannot open "old files" CS6.

I was supposed to do a few adjustments in a project, i have opened it before and been working in it alot.. (2 months since last time i was working with this project) When i was supposed to do some minor fixes etc on this project yesterday i cannot open the file. The project it self are only on 8900 kB. What to do???? I can open my recently "newly" made and used projects.... Ive tryed some other projects that was also old, all between 2-6 months.. And it is just randomly witch i can open and witch i "Cannot open"..

First, a tip: Try manually breaking the links to the file by moving that document you want to open to your desktop or another directory or such and then try opening them... (corrupt image previews and/or images can then be largely elminated as a potential cause)
As @Peter mentioned, we (Markzware - link here to how that works) can likely fix this file. Interesting notes from @jongware above. Without having seen this file, our research shows there are various reasons an InDesign file can head south and corrupt or crash on you. Just like a doctor can not always say what caused the problem, there are some basic steps we all should take. For instance, OS up to date, InDesign using the latest update available, enough disk space and scartch disk space for heavy Adobe design operations. Here is a list of some of the most common issues with bad INDD documents:
* Corrupt Font(s) (or corrupt font caches - see below)
* Corrupt Image(s)
* Power Failure
* Placing images via drag-and-drop from an Internet page
* Working on an InDesign file over a network or on a remote server
