Cannot pair my magic keyboard through Bluetooth.

Hello,
My Magic Keyboard does not pair with my Mac. I'm running Mavericks (OS X 10.9).It's detecting my keyboard but won't let me enter the password number or freezes halfway through the finalisation process.
I've trashed the plist.com.apple bluetooth file and zapped the Pram. There are no peripherals plugged in.
My battery for my KB is a mobee battery (Magic Feet).

No, nothing else.
To clarify, if I manually try and pair the KB and laptop (click on KB in Bluetooth app) it generates a number with the first digit highlighted. It's tortuous entering each digit during the pairing process. It either times out or gets to the end and finishes on its own.
If I have the option clicked for the laptop to automatically recognise and try and pair with the KB, it geneates a number with the spinning wheel of death. In effect, it won't allow me to enter the digits and pair.

It is no longer possible to connect to my iMac.

Magic Trackpad: cannot pair; instructions wrong; no "Setup Bluetooth Trackp

Brand new MacBook Pro 2.66GHz Core i7 running 10.6.3 as received from Apple.
Magic Trackpad instruction book pg 4 is wrong; there is no "Setup Bluetooth Trackpad" button in the Trackpad preferences pane.
Tried using the Keyboard pane; it just keeps spinning looking for a device -- but the power light on the Magic Trackpad does blink during this.
Need the MTrackpad on the left since the computer is on the right & I've ruined my right thumb joint with 20+ years of trackpad use.

I believe MT needed an update to work. Here is the update but note that you must be on 10.6.4 to apply it. If you just do a Software Update and move to 10.6.5, the support is built in.

Cannot scroll with my keyboard through the fonts (Windows)

I upgraded to CS4 today and I can't scroll through the fonts properly with my keyboard. Every time I scroll through the list it either gets stuck on a font and I have to open the list and select a new one or it skips over all the fonts and lands near the end of the font list.
A lot of people seem to be having this problem but I've been searching for an answer to this for a couple for hours and still havent found one! Any help would be greatly appreciated

While you use the arrow keys on the keyboard to scroll through the fonts list in the Character menu (under Window menu > Type) will freeze on certain fonts in Adobe Illustrator CS4.
Solution
- Turn off Enable Missing Glyph Protection.
- In Illustrator CS4 choose Edit > Preferences > Type.
- Remove the check-mark for Enable Missing Glyph Protection.

You have a rubbish font inbetween there somewhere and it's throwing off things. Remove al lfonts you may have adeed recently, then add trhem back only as needed.

My new iPhone doesn't pair with my Nokia phone's bluetooth. I need to transfert all my contacts from one phone to another. All my contacts are only in my Nokia phone, not in any computer...

So you cleared all pairings from your head unit and retstarted the car, you Reset the network settings on the car, then you tried to pair them? Does either one see the other after you do this?
Haven't seen many Camry BT complaints, you might check on their forum.

Sounds like Spaces is being activated somehow. With the wired keyboard and mouse in use, select the Exposé & Spaces control pane in System Preferences, click the choice in that pane for Spaces. See what the settings are. There are some activation settings in that pane - by default, F8 activates it.
It could be that the bluetooth keyboard has some stuck keys and is activating Spaces; or that the activation command has somehow been reset to something that the bluetooth mouse, or bluetooth itself, is triggering.

My apple magic keyboard keeps un-pairing with my computer.

My mom got the new iMac a while ago and she didnt want the magic mouse and keyboard so she gave them to me. I'v had them for several months with no problems and I'v become very fond of them for gameing. My out of town friend was in town yesterday and staying at his grandmothers house so i wnet over there with my macbook pro 13 inch, i did not bring my magic mouse or keyboard. When i came home i went to go play on my computor and i tryed typeing in my password on my magic keyboard but nothing showed up so i tried again, thats when my mom yelled from the other room that i was typeing on her computer. she turned her computer off and than i re-paired the keyboard with my computor and it worked fine for the rest of the night. When i got up this morning my mom asked me to carry her computer downstairs, i did and when i went up stairs to use my laptop i tryed to type my password in and it didnt work. i checked in system prefrences under the keyboard and it says it isnt paired with my computer. She is the middle of a very big project for work and id like to fix this problem.

EDIT: we just turned off bluetooth on her computer and that fixed it.

I had this problem and what I did was: read the user manual. I was actually using the wrong buttons to put the Tri-BC200 on pairing mode. I also boot my I phone. Everything worked OK. Regards.

Since upgrading to iOs 7.0.5, my iPhone 5S no longer connects to anything through Bluetooth, even things it was previously paired to. Any ideas?

Under the previous version of iOs 7, I could connect to 2 sets of headphones, and a van through bluetooth with no problems. Since the update, nothing connects, even though the iPhone can see the items. I have tried “forgetting” the devices and tried repairing them with no success.
I would contact Apple about this, but every time I tried with other problems their response was “Try waithing for the next upgrade”.
Anyone out there having the same problems, or know of any solutions?

I got the same issue with my Garmin Watch.
Since I've upgraded my iPhone 5s from 7.0.4 to 7.0.5 I can't perform the pairing.
I've tried with an iPhone 5 on 7.0.4 and everything works as expected, but not with 7.0.5. I have a message who says "Pairing Unsuccessful, Pairing took too long. Make sur "tactix-xxxxx" is turned on, in range, and is ready to pair".
As I said, I don't have this message with 7.0.4.

I cannot connect my Logitech keyboard to my IPad. It worked well and now the Bluetooth device cannot 'find' the connection. I have fully charged all batteries etc. I may have said 'forget this device' how do I get it back again!! Help!

Pairing with brand new 2008 bluetooth keyboard, Boot Camp 2.0

I have a very simple question. I've searched the forums and seen a lot of information about older versions of Boot Camp, old drivers, and a lot of problems. However, none of these answers have really helped.
I have a brand new Bluetooth keyboard - brand new, as in bought it last week.
I have a relatively new MacBook Pro. Relatively new, as in bought it six months ago.
The Bluetooth keyboard works stunningly well under OS X 10.5.4. I'm using it right now. It works. I don't want that to stop.
So the question: can I have the keyboard work under BOTH Windows XP (under boot camp) AND OS X?
I did try to see if I could make it work....
1. Reboot under XP (boot camp whatever the latest version is, I installed boot camp two weeks ago).
2. Select Control Panel - Bluetooth Devices
3. Check the box
4. Press button on right side of keyboard
5. Quickly press "next" button.
The first time I did this, the keyboard came up in the dialog box. It then asked me for a pass key, which I typed on my laptop's keyboard. I then tried typing the same pass key (my phone #) on the bluetooth keyboard and pressing Enter. The dialog box closed.
The keyboard did not work. At all.
Rebooted Windows. Keyboard still did not work. "Did not work" means did not register any key presses at all in the Notepad application.
The second time I tried steps 1-5 I got a different result. Instead of listing my keyboard, the Bluetooth wizard couldn't find a keyboard, or any nearby bluetooth devices.
So, if I 'un pair' the keyboard under OS X, and then 're pair' the keyboard under Windows, will I then need to 'un pair' the keyboard under Windows and then 're pair' it under OS X to make it work?

I paired my brand new Bluetooth keyboard (3 days old) with both the OSX and WinXP sides of my Mac Pro without a problem. I did OSX first and then Windows. On the Windows side it displayed a passkey but never gave me a chance to enter it on the keyboard. It just moved on to the next dialog screen and from then on it worked.

That is because they do not generally pair. What is it that you are trying to do by connecting them via Bluetooth? If you are referring to AirDrop or continuity, then all you need to do is have Bluetooth turned on, they do not pair.
