Cannot permenantly delete photo

I take a photo with my new iphone 6 plus. I then delete that photo. Photo goes to the recently deleted folder. I then delete it from there and its supposed to be gone for good. 30 days later, I select the camera icon on my phone and a photo that was supposed to be gone appears for a few seconds before going to the camera. So, my question is, how to really get rid of a photo? Even if deleted from the recently deleted photo, it still finds its way back. Also, icloud and all that is not turned on.

What you can do is completely reset Photostream to clear out everything that is there. Make sure that you save your images to an album or event in iPhoto, the Photo app, or a folder in Windows so you don't lose them.
You can then go to iCloud and click the "reset" button in Photostream to purge the images form the server. Then go to each device an turn Photostream off and back on to purge the local cache.

If you used iTunes to get the photos on the phone, then use the same iTunes and uncheck the music you don't want and do another sync.

Why did Apple program it to function this way?! I synced photos from my computer to my iPod. I threw away my old computer when I bought a Macbook Pro. I see the photos tab and "My Pictures" folder shows. Sync is unselected. It asks if I want to delete the photos when I click on sync and I said yes but it didn't work. It does seem that some photos are removed based on available storage left (decreases). If I select individual folders, subfolders of "My Pictures" then hit Sync deselected Sync doesn't even start.

As I am on holidays and taking loads of photos I thought a good plan was to load them onto my iPad and then regularly back them up to iCloud. I'm only new at all of this so I hope someone can assist me. Cannot delete photos on iPhoto

I have migrated my photos from iMac G5 OS X (10.4.11) to Mac Mini Snow Leopard. Everything went fine, except for the fact that on the Mini I cannot erase / delete any photos.
Can anyone tell me why this is the case?

how are you deleting?
Are you emptying the iPhoto trash?
Are you deleting form rolls or albums?
why do you think that you can not delete photos?

Cannot delete photos in camera roll on ios 7

The trash icon does not appear blue when I select photos in ios 7... They are in camera roll but not showing in albums.

There are a number of issues here.
Only photos taken with the iPad camera can be placed in the folders created within the in house app Photos. Since they are linked, deleting one of them deletes all copies.
Photos not taken by the iPad camera cannot be deleted from within the iPad.
For non iPad Photo app pictures you are better to create your folders on your pc, manage them from there (including subsequent deletes) and sync.
I hope I have got this right. There are other photo apps which might simplify this.

Cannot locate the option that allows me to delete photos anymore, the only option it gives me is to forward photos.

I delete photos on the iPad all the time. Click on the arrow icon in the upper right to bring up the menu that has a delete button in it. If you viewing a single image there is a trash can in the upper right to delete the photo as well.

Cannot delete photos from library in IPhoto 09. Whats happen is that the spinning thing starts and never stop. Then I must "force stop" the computer with on/off button. Any experienced the same thing?

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

When you password-protected these folders then you did so to prevent anyone from accessing the pictures unless he had the correct password, even if he deleted the password application itself. Are you now asking how to get around this protection? If you
selected a robust protection scheme then you probably got what you wanted: uncrackable encryption. You need to check the FAQs of this application and/or google for clues. Alternatively you could restore your files from your external backup medium (if you have
one . . .).

Because I have deleted photos in my albums, Iphoto gives an error for each file saying it cannot find the file. Is there a way to stop it from looking for deleted pics?

Are you running a "referenced" library?
If you are did you delete the source photo via the Finder and not from in iPhoto? It sounds as if you did. If that's the case then drag the thumbnail to the Apple Trash Bin and empty it. That will stop the error message.
If you're running a managed library and deleted the original file via the Finder that's the reason. The same fix applies.
WARNING: Never delete a photo that's in the iPhoto library via the Finder. That damages/corrupts the library as you've experienced.
