Cannot play any media nor play my timeline in Pr CC 2014

I have a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 running OSX 10.9.4 with Premiere CC 2014 8.0.1 (21) Build.
It seems to be working ok unless I want to playback my timeline or playback any media.
It works for the 1st few seconds of opening a project and then will not respond.
Also, Pr CC 2014 crashes every single time I shut it down.
Any ideas! I am in a serious time crunch and need this to work yesterday.

If you are having issues with enabling Wifi on your iPhone you may want to try a couple of things to troubleshoot. First of all I would quit all open applications on the phone and try again. See this previous thread for how -

Next, I would try restarting the iPhone -
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

I have the same problem I can't uploade new apps and can't update the old ones also I when I try to open the video it shows a black screen and nothing happens

My iPod touch cannot stream ANY media

As the title states, I am unable to stream any media to my iPod, whether that be through Safari, or 3rd party apps like mixcloud or netflix. My Wi-Fi connection is through the windows 7 virtual router, but that shouldn't be an issue because i can stream HD movies from my xbox with ease through that connection. What could be causing this issue?

Does it work when connect to another network?
If yes then that points to a problem with your network.
You can try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

I have properly configurated my email accounts, however when I open the mail the page in blank and therefore I cannot see any mail nor send any mail, what is happening??

Still cannot play 720p timeline without stalling. Gotta fix this.

Thanks to Shane and everyone, my system seems to be running smoothly except I still am having a problem playing a 720p sequence. No one seems to have an answer. The cursor keeps moving as well as the audio but the video freezes. If I change the frame rate in the RT menu to half it will play. Here is the rub. I can play 1080i all day with no problem. And, I can play 720p sequences on my iMac with no stuttering. Obviously, it is dropping frames but I have idea what is causing this. Someone has to have an answer. All drivers are up to date. So if you DISABLE the Kona...it works? As in turn off external viewing. Does it work smoothly then? If so...KONA issue. Reinstall drivers, replace card...all that. Did they go that far?

Cannot Drag any items, nor unzip to desktop

I can highlight icons, but I cannot move anything, either in the finder window or on the desktop. I also cannot unzip a package on my desktop, I get operation not allowed.

Cannot play if left for too long

Everytime I leave a project for more than 10 minutes. I come back and cannot play the timeline. I can do other functuions except play. I have to reboot.
It's not fatal, but a pain. Anyone know why?

if your drive sleeps that can happen. How long does it take before it responds? Are you saying FCPX never plays after ten minutes have passed? Or you stop waitng after xxx amount of time?
Check energy settings in System Preferences - make sure computer is set to sleep NEVER and make sure hard disk sleeps is UNCHECKED.
Also. make certain you are addressing the project when you hit the spacebar to play - meaning, you could be in the events browser when you come back and attempt to play. Try first hitting Command 1, (Events), then Command 3, (Viewer), then Command 2, (timeline), then hit the space bar. Also, make sure you are at the beginning of the timeline. If you're at the end nothing will happen.
I know this all sounds ridiculously elementary, but I've worked until I was basically out of it, taken a break and come back and not noticed that the playhead was at the end of the project and it took a second to realize I had to go back to "home" to play from the beginning.

Pavilion dv8 cannot play cd or dvd

I have a Pavilion DV8 ( Model NQ226AV) laptop with a cd/dvd/bluray drive ( BD MLT UJ240) that cannot read any media. It spins and spins and does nothing. I disabled the drivers and reboot and windows reenabled the drivers. I tried to read the disk from command line and shows no media. Help

Try booting from it using a bootable disk like a Windows install disk or your recovery media. This will isolate whether it is hardware (no boot) or a software/Windows problem. You might also try a laser cleaner disk you can buy at any electronics store. If it will not boot and cleaning does not good it will be necessary to replace the drive. Are you under warranty? If so, obviously HP will replace it and if not figure the drive would cost around $100 on the internet and is very easy to repace.

it sounds like a tagging problem, but I'm not sure how to help.... what kind of files are they? Typically, if they are organized properly in WMP, they should organize well in the Zen... go to WMP and try the advanced tag editor.

I have upgraded my iPad software to 7.02 and cannot play any media. Gutted.

I have upgraded my iPad software to 7.02 and cannot play any media: podcasts , music or videos. Gutted as I am a month holiday in Indonesia. Tidied to contact apple but you cat e mail them. Waited an hour for a support chat session but nothing. Far from what I expected from apple.

What happens when you attempt to play such media? Do you get some error messages or does the app crash, or does something else happen?
Did you update to iOS 7 while away from home or before you left?
Did you do an over the air update or via iTunes? If it was over the air I'd be interested in knowing how much available space you had on your iPad before you did the upgrade.

Repair security permissions
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Security tab and click Advanced. If necessary grant your account and system full control to this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to replace permissions on child objects which will repair permissions throughout the library. This is the XP dialog but Windows 7/8 shouldn't be too different.
Repeat for the media folder if it isn't a subfolder of the iTunes folder.

Cannot play any video (even youtube vids) on my HP TouchSmart 520 with Windows 8 in Metro Mode.

Just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8.
Upgrade was uneventful.. went very smoothly.
Problem is now I cannot play any videos in the new Metro Mode (I tried using various apps... Video, youtube player, etc).. not even youtube videos.
However, when I select Desktop mode.. everything still works fine.
Any idea what is wrong ?

Welcome to HP's forum. I do not know much about Windows 8. Reading this fact sheet it says that you need to purchase the media software and upgrade to Windows 8 pro. This one is in general section. Will installation media be available for purchase? Back to Windows 8 requirements. Is Windows Media Center included in the upgrade to Windows 8 Pro? Least you are able to watch videos in other mode until you figure out what is best. Good luck frrw. Ounce you have figured out the software purchases you should post it to help others out. My computer is to old for upgrade. No drivers were made for it.
