Cannot play .wav file in ICM script

Dear all,
I wrote a cript that plays a audio file ( .wav). That file is in correct audio format ( 64kbps, 8bit, 1 mono, 8kHz, CCITT u-law).
As you can see in script, all test calls from PSTN after jumping to Run Ext. Script  are going to End node ( number 27). And from mobile test, i cannot hear any sound from script.
So, what is cause here? Thank in advance

I'll have to go on some assumptions since you don't have a lot of info here.  Someone probably created a generic IPIVR script that performs similar functionality to the micro apps in CVP using peripheral variables as input.  If an error is occuring, it is happening in the IPIVR and you will need to look at the MIVR logs to see what is causing the error.  As for the path that the call takes once it exits the run external script node, that is set within the IPIVR script using the Set ICM Result step.  Set it to true and it exits the success leg or set it to false and it exits the failure leg of the node.  I'm guessing that you are probably not looking in the correct directory for the wav file and that is why it is not playing.

  • Cannot Play Wav file

    Hello,
    I have a T850 and when I receive a voice mail message at work it emails my outlook and since I am synced I get the email and the message as a wav file on my T850. The Wav file opens but there is no sound, however the sounds works when viewing a tube video over the web on the same phone. Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct? Thanks!

    I would expect a WAV to open in the Windows Media Player. Is that what happens? Does the Media Player correctly play MP3s (e.g., on a microSD card)?

  • Error Playing .wav file on RHEL 4 using JMF

    Hi,
    We are using jmf api to play wav files on our application deployed on rhel version 4. But we are receiving the following error
    **"Cannot find a Processor for: myfolder/myAudio.wav" --->
    this exception is comming from javax.media.Manager
    throw new NoProcessorException("Cannot find a Processor for: " + source);"**.
    Any ideas what could be issue with this, am I missing some drivers/processor for wav files? I did a default jmf studio installation.

    If we take a look at the supported formats page...
    [http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/2.1.1/formats.html]
    And the WAV file is supported by the cross-platform pack, AKA, jmf.jar.
    If you're unable to open a WAV file, I'd say it's most likely because you don't have JMF.jar on your library path. You can fix that at runtime with the switch -djava.library.path=<whatever>
    That's what I would say the issue is.

  • Quicktime not playing .wav files

    I cannot get .wav files to play.
    I have installed Flip4Mac Beta for snow Leopard (twice) and even reinstalled Quicktime Player 7 just in case that would work since my Quicktime 10 (51) does not handle .wav files. This is a big problem.
    Is there a solution since I think it may be something with my upgrade to snow leopard and incompatibility issues and hopefully this is an issue being worked on by apple.

    "I have installed Flip4Mac Beta"
    BETA=buggy. Suggest that you post your concerns over on the Flip4Mac forums.
    There may be solutions regarding how to make their beta product work w/QT & Snow Leopard.

  • Pure Music software player is not working with iTunes 10.4 and Lion 10.7 playing wav. files.

    Pure Music player from Channel D software will not work when playing wav. files after updating to Lion OS. I can open the application as usual but after playing one song it will not advance to the next track either on its own or manually. The scrolling track name goes dim and I cannot get the play button to respond. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    Thanks Limnos, but unfortunately the same error still remains.
    The disk was OK.  Permissions had errors along the lines of groups should be 0, is 80.  I repaired that.  Tried again to open, then reinstalled (new download again), but again the same problem.
    I checked permissions again and some of the 0-80 errors came again, but no clear reason from there I think
    Was also a SUID warning on ARDAgent but I see online that doesn't appear to be something abnormal.
    I tried reloading Lion but the installation came back with software appears to have been tampered with (I think the dmg file is gone as I couldn't find it).  I then went to email to report a problem so I could download again but of course that whole process doesn't work because itunes wont open.
    So Stuck
    if there is anything else I might be missing?

    You probably have not seen anyone reporting the exact same problem as you. All three crash reports have the same crash signature and as currently ranked 67 it is not the commonest of reasons for a crash.
    I hope you enter your email contact information when reporting crashes. I note you see this crash when using videos, others may possibly see this crash in other circumstances.
    You have already tried the obvious, attempts at a fix so it is now down to wait and see, maybe developers working on the bug will report something or fix it.
    Did you try my suggestion of installing portable ESR ?

  • How to Play .wav files in Safari?

    Hi:
    I need a little help.
    I would like Safari to play wav files instead of downloading those file to my Downloads folder. Can this be done.
    Thanks,
    -AstraPoint

    Greetings,
    I would like Safari to play wav files instead of downloading those file to my Downloads folder.
    Can this be done?
    Maybe. First, what is the URL for a .wav file you're trying to play in Safari? I want to test this before I say whether or not it will work.

  • Cannot play MP3 files in Dreamweaver CS4

    Hi
    Apogogies if this has been asked before.
    I have an embedded MP3 file on one of my DWCS4 pages but when I try to play it from the Properties Inspector I get the message "Unable to find the plugin that handles this media type".
    The sound file plays OK in Firefox and IE but I would like to be able to test it in DW. I have the currrent version of Apple QuickTime Pro installed.
    I am using both Windows XP and Vista with the same problem.
    Is there a plug I can download for DW only in order to play these files without resorting to converting the MP3 to another format.
    Any help would be much appreicated.
    Thanks
    George

    Yes but I did exactly what I accused you of doing so it was really bad!
    Software troubles can drive you a bit crazy. Sorry again.

  • Play WAV files into the .jar

    Hello,
    I'm doing small application Java with Netbeans.
    I need is to play .wav file sounds are incorporated into the jar.
    I do not want to use external libraries or external sound files, etc.. I want to go with my .JAR to the office, home, etc ... just need the JAR to hear the sounds.
    I've created a folder "Sounds" in "src" and in that place I have my sounds. (Project / src / sounds). It's a way to incorporate a JAR file, or am I wrong?? Run independently of the sound files.
    At the time of reproducing the sound I do the following:
    Clip sonido = AudioSystem.getClip();
    File f = new File(getClass().getResource(/Sonidos/alarma.wav).toURI());
    sonido.open(AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(f));
    sonido.start();
    If I run the program with netbeans, I play sounds, but which only transfer my .JAR to another computer, does not play ...
    Any ideas?
    Thank's.

    I don't understand, before I had done as you have written me, but did not work, but now it works.
    Problem solved. Thank's.
    Posting the code here:
    InputStream path = getClass().getResourceAsStream("/Sonidos/alarma.wav");
    try
    sonido = AudioSystem.getClip();
    sonido.open(AudioSystem.getAudioInputStream(path));
    sonido.start();
    }catch(Exception fail)
    System.out.println(fail);

  • Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file

    Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file
    How do I fix this?

    That would probably be a question best taken up in on a site for Windows support questions. Not knowing anything about the movie you're trying to play, all I can suggest is to confirm that the format of the movie you wish to play is supported in your version of WMP. If it isn't, you'll either need to convert the movie or use some other player software.
    Regards.

  • Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the required video codec is not installed on your computer

    I can not find solution to the issue "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the required video codec is not installed on your computer" while attempting to play the file with *.wmv extension. Some computer fail in spite of said missing codec
    being present according the windrows media player in Windows 7 box

    If Rashid's link does not resolve it... consider the below:
    A)  As of this writing, the codec for GoToMeeting webinar recordings ("G2M4" codec) was only mentioned in *one* web page, of about 10 Microsoft web pages I read, to resolve this problem (and that codec is not included, yet, in their diagnostic tool),
    so if you're trying to play a GoToMeeting webinar, simply get the codec for it from their site:  http://www.GoToMeeting.com/codec
    B)  If Windows Media Player (WMP) will not even open the file, you won't be able to get the 4-character codec's name (like "G2M4") from WMP.  But VLC's media player will tell you that code, even when it fails to run the video.... and then you can
    search the internet for it.
    C)  The problem sometimes is not actually a missing codec.  Other things that have helped others, some from:
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-pictures/the-windows-media-player-12-could-not-play-the-wma/bb823460-44df-4e8d-ba2c-42ec0e111e5a?page=3
    (1) running the System File Checker (SFC.exe),
    (2) opening WMP first (running both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions) then opening the file from inside them,
    (3) confirming that WMP was the file association for WMV files,
    (4) Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound, selecting my audio device, and looking for a "5.1" setting (I didn't have one), to change to "stereo",
    (5) checking Tools\Options\Devices\Speakers\Properties\Speaker Properties\AdvancedPlayback\ Speakers /HP\Properties\Advanced\Default Format, to select "CD or DVD Quality" (if that setting appears for your device),
    Good luck,

    n solutions about this.

    Hello.
    Only Series 60,80 and 90 phones running Symbian operating system are capable of playing WAV files. From what I know, Series 40 phones do not display this ability and will not be supported still in future revisions of the said platform.
    Cheers.
