Cannot Power-Off in Track Details Scr

I have the Nomad Jukebox Zen USB 2.0 with the latest firmware update (..0) and I frequently run into an issue where I cannot power-off from the current track details screen. In order to power-off I have to switch to the Selected Music screen (the one that shows all queued tracks).
Has anyone else encountered this?

Have you tried a proper Reset? [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank. Be patient, the device will power ON again in the normal way. It is app and data safe!]

Try this now.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

First, press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon appears.
The problem could be that you don't have enough storage on the device itself, not on iCloud. Go to Settings>General>Usage to see how much "Storage" you have available on the device. Farther down the list is the available storage on iCloud.
Also check:
Go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage; there, tap the device you need info on and the resulting screen lists Backup Options with which apps store data on iCloud as well. Tap Show All Apps to get the complete list of apps and MB used for backup storage.
A device needs many MB of storage in order to perform a backup to iCloud.

While on safari, it closed but has left a small window of page i was surfing, I cannot power-off ipad and will not let me go on safari or access anything

Close Safari and reboot your iPad. If you cannot close Safari or navigate to the home screen, just try the reboot described below.

TS3274 has anyone had a problem with the on/off button being stuck down? my IPad is on, but the power button is stuck down and I cannot power off

I have and IPad 2. I realized (while travelling by air) that my power button was stuck in the down position. I cannot power off my IPad. Wondering if anyone has experienced the same issue and what you may have done to rectify? I think Apple may be aware of this problem. I stopped into an Apple store and they were not supprised, but I could not make an appt because I was traveling and did not live in the area. Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.
Do you have an iPad 3 as well? And is yours not experiencing any issues close to mine?

Laptop cannot power off

My laptop cannot power it off.
I use sudo poweroff to shut it down.
Hard disk stop running but the power LED and wireless LED are still in light.
I firstly thought it was the X problem. Then I check the /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old and found the tail of it was

Which means X seems terminated correctly. Then I don't know to check what or check which log to find out the problem.

After I startx after login, I cannot switch to text terminal anymore by using Ctrl+Alt+F1.
After pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1 the screen was totally black and only by using Ctrl+Alt+F7 can bring me back to the gui interface.

Cannot power off

My MBP will not allow me to restart or shut down in the apple menu in the top left corner, the only way to power off is to hold down the power button until it turns off.
How can I fix this!!???????

I did exactly what you said and while I was on the console, I hit shutdown and restart from the apple menu and nothing came up in the console, so I looked up "shutdown" in the console and these appeared:

It appears you have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

Having tried to download i)S 8.1 onto my ipad 3 a week ago it is still 'veryfyingupdate' and I cannot get into the ipad in any way , nor power off. Help please
