Cannot preview ASP JavaScript database pages anymore

I've lost my ability to preview my ASP JavaScript database
pages on MX 2004. They upload fine, just can't preview them. Error
ASP 0129 - The scripting language 'JAVASCRIPT' is not found on the
server.
I recently installed a trial version of DW CS4 on an external
drive, but am now wondering if dll files were overwritten in the
process that affected MX 2004. I've since uninstalled CS4 and
cleaned up the registry, but the problem still exists.
My other computer previews fine with same IIS settings and AV
protection. So it’s something within DW on my computer that
has a glitch and the only thing I can think of is the installation
of CS4 jolted MX 2004 and now ASP JavaScript is not recognized.
Is there a repair tool for Dreamweaver? If not, and I
reinstall OVER the current installation of MX 2004, will I lose any
settings, and will I have to reinstall updates and extensions? Any
other suggestions are appreciated!

I have OX Yosemite Version 10.2.

In Yosemite, Pages '09 v4.3 has dropped functionality for the Share menu ▸ Send via Mail. You will need to export to disk, and then drag/drop into Mail.
You should be running Pages v5.5.2 (current) on Yosemite. Otherwise, update from the App Store. Whether from the Share menu, or the Toolbar Share icon, I have not experienced Send a Copy ▸ Mail failing to export and attach documents to Mail.

Cannot change dictionary language in pages anymore...

Before Yosemite you just need to go to Inspector > Text > More > Language and change the language. Now, with Yosemite, you cannot do it since does not appear a Language options anymore. Anybody knows how to solve it?

In Pages 5 you can set the dictionary in Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar.

Database options grayed when creating ASP (Javascript) page

I recently installed CS5 Master Suite on a WinXP-32 machine and was able to create ASP pages in Javascript that could connect to and update a Microsoft Access 2003 database. But since certain apps in the suite required 64-bit OS, I wiped the machine and installed Windows 7 64-bit.
I've managed to get it set up so that I can connect to the database if I create a new ASP page with VBScript, but if I create a new page with Javascript, the ability to add a new connection in the database pane is grayed out, despite all the items listed underneath being checked off.
I assume the DSN is setup correctly since the VBScript pages work. I've installed IIS7 on the machine with 32-bit application pool enabled so that the server can connect with the 32-bit ODBC driver.
Any hints on how to get database connection working in Javascript pages would be greatly appreciated!

Note: As of Dreamweaver CS5, Dreamweaver no longer installs ASP.NET, ASP JavaScript, or JSP server behaviors. If you’re working on ASP.NET, ASP JavaScript, or JSP pages, however, Dreamweaver will still support Live view, code coloring, and code hinting for those pages. You do not need to select ASP.NET, ASP JavaScript or JSP in the Site Definition dialog box for any of these features to work.
The only reason I can think that it worked prior to the OS change was that we did have CS4 installed which was later upgraded to CS5. The pages may have either been created prior to the upgrade or it retained support for ASP Javascript through the upgrade, but no longer had it with the fresh install after the OS change,
Thanks for the info. Knowing it was a design decision on Adobe's part made it a bit easier to generate a search to locate the info I was looking for.

Can't add database to ASP Javascript page?

If I make a page with document type of ASP javascript the option to add a db connection is grayed out even though the site, type and server onumbers have checks by them. Do the same thing with doc type of ASP VB script and I can add db. I don't believe I used to have this problem before.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong would be appreciated. Thanks.

Cannot access web page anymore

I can no longer access my banks web page anymore. I was able to get to the page and sign in up to a few days ago.
When I try to get to the page I get a message that says "Safari can’t open the page “https://www.essabank.com/index.cfm?” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding."
I never had this issue before.
I have Firefox and it does not work on that browser either.
I have also tried RockMelt and Opera, again without any luck.
I have searched on the web on several forums and the advice I saw there for similar issues did not work.
I called my bank and they were not having any problems and told me the problem was on my end.
I called Verizon and they tried to help, even took over the computer and they could not get the page to come up.
I can access the page if I use Kproxy, but, I cannot access the bill pay feature that has a totally different error message.
Does anybody know how I can fix this issue and gain access to my bank's page as I did before.
This is extremely important as I need to get to the page and to my bill pay feature without any issues.
As I said, this had been working fine up to about 2 or 3 days ago.
I am using Safari Version 5.0.5 (6533.21.1)
When I go to my bookmarks and previews, the preview for my bank is blank or black with the Safari logo and a lock on it, if this helps...
Any help is greatly appreciated as we really need access to our banks page and features that we use all the time....

Cannot access Oracle XE database home page

Hi
I have just installed Oracle Database 10g express edition on my Windows XP, and the installation seemed to go well.
I then select to go to the database home page after the installation which opens a browser at this address: http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex, and i get a The page cannot be displayed' error.
During the install, i was given this information:
Destination Folder: C:\oraclexe\
Port for 'Oracle Database Listener': 1521
Port for 'Oracle Services for Microsoft Transaction Server': 2030
Port for HTTP Listener: 8080
I have tried restarting my computer, but still get the cannot find server error when attempting to go to the database home page.
I was wondering if anyone else has had experience with this issue, where they cannot get to the database homepage, and how they may have solved it.
I also have disabled my firewall. but still could not access Home Page.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when i tried to conenct through sql command line, this is what i got:

Cannot drag and drop PDF pages in Yosemite Preview App

I suddenly cannot drag and drop PDF pages into the open preview PDF Yosemite> Why?
I open a PDF in preview.
I used to be able to simply drag a PDF from the desktop (or a JPG) into that open PDF in Preview.
Now it won;t let me?
Is this a bug or is there a new procedure for this?

Have you run any "cleaning" or "optimizing" apps on your Mac or have any antivirus software installed?
Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down), select Disk Utility and repair both the disk permissions and the disk. Reboot normally and try again.
If the above fails reboot into the Recovery volume and reinstall the system. Repair disk permissions afterward.
Also, as a test, log into another user account on your Mac and see if the problem persists there. If it does then it's a system wide issue. If not, it's an account issue.

E90 Browser cannot resolve ASP pages

The browser on my new E90 communicator cannot resolve ASP pages - it returns an error "Bad Request (Invalid Header Name). Can anyone help?

Since latest upgrade I cannot "print" or show "print preview" from any web page. This is true of both of my printers and I have followed directions on plug-ins and have reinstalled Firefox etc. I am about ready to switch to Internet Explorer! w

Since upgrading Firefox, it doesn't respond when I click on print and/or print preview while displaying web pages.. No error message, just no response. I tried using both my printers..a HP and a Canon and get no results with either. I have no problem printing from any other place (including "Print" instructions within web pages, usually). I have recently upgraded my desktop (Dell Vostro 220) to Windows 7 and it went smoothly. The Firefox upgrade came at about the same time, so I don't know if Windows 7 is part of the problem. I need be able to print from the screen of web pages!

Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article [[Firefox prints incorrectly]]? There is some good troubleshooting information in there. I would suggest that you try resetting your print settings.

You can't merge Apple IDs. You also can't cancel (delete) and existing ID, you can only choose to stop using it.
If your old ID was compromised and you can no longer access it, you'll have to contact Apple for assistance. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; click 'See all products and services' at the bottom of the page. In the next page click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then then 'Apple ID account Security’.

HP Color Laserjet 1600 cannot print in color with Pages 09

Hi, everybody!
I got a huge problem for me that the HP Color Laserjet 1600 cannot print in color with Pages 09 after I upgrade to 10.6.1. It worked very well in 10.5.8. Since there is no official driver from HP website for 1600, so I used foomatic/foo2hp as the driver.
It is very strange that I can print in color with Safari and Preview in 10.6.1, but cannot with Pages 09. When I print with Pages 09, it always shows that the print job was completed but my printer was nothing happened.
I just re-install the 10.6 OS "complete new", install the printer driver with the instructions on this forum.
It would be high appreciated if somebody can help me on it!

Why doesn't MAC just give us the driver for the HP Color Laserjet 1600? It's one of the most popular home based business laserjets. It's the one I use and a lot of other people in business use it so I'm at a loss as to why they don't.
I bought my MAC Pro tower for video editing and I can't print from it and have had to reinstall the OS on it once already because Safari wouldn't open a window. So much for the MAc advertising statement of "We're so much easier to use."
After spending close to $10,000 on MAC equipment, Tower, Laptop, Monitor, etc. if they think I'm going to spend more for a new printer just because I can't get a driver to print they're thinking wrong. I going to re-think my new cell phone purchase too. Has anyone had software issuses with their phones before I go out and buy one?

Cannot preview messages

Hi, for some weeks I have to restart MAIL in order to be able of previewing messages but now I cannot preview any message. It asks to connect to the account to preview messages.
Before, I just had to restart the Mail application and it was solved, but now it's not enough.
I've tried to rebuild the inbox mailbox and I only was able to make dissapear all messages in the inbox mailbox.
Any idea how to solve this issue? it seems a database or something is corrupt.
Everything else works well in Mail.

Lost ASP JavaScript Recordsets when I upgraded to CS 5.5

I upgraded from CS4 to CS5.5 All the pages in my site that had ASP JavaScript recordsets are now showing that they have no recordset in the Bindings tab/window. If I hit the + sign, the only option I have is "Spry Data Set". How do I get CS 5.5 to recogonize ASP JavaScript recordsets and to have them appear on the + sign menu?

Yes, since I installed the old extensions it appears to function. I haven't done anything extensive but just modifying a page or two.
What I would love to know is what is the future direction that Adobe/Dreamweaver will be taking? Are they planning to drop support for another language in the future?
I was afraid that re-writing is the answer, but I was hoping differently....Web design is a very small portion of my job but since I'm the only one, it all falls on me and this will be a huge undertaking. Lots of pages to re-write, test deploy etc.
