Cannot preview or print other than single photo, want mult preview/print

i download from nikon d90, see photos in organizer, can edit, share but cannot print multiple prints, 4x3.5 or 4x4x5 or preview them which i can do with single prints of any size. this is new problem in last 3 weeks, was working great prior to this. i have uninstalled and reinstalled pse7 twice. i use page layout 8.5x11, package to select what i want to print and get hour glass in preview window and border or preview window. what can i do to fix this?

There might be some problem with the files. Try updating the thumbnail of the files by Edit->Updated thumbnail.

Is it possible to make application to use specific printer but other than default? may be hard code it into application code?
For example I know the name of print service(the PATH to configured printer) and I want my application to use THAT printer most of the time. how can make it so that my application uses one printer which is other than default..
printDialog is not a good solutionin in my case I think because user might have 15 printers configured on his machine! and I do not want him to scroll PrintServices combobox looking for needed printer... why not show only 2 or printers out of 15?
or in my case I think it is even better to hard code couple of configured printers in an application code so that I user does not get tired of working with printDialog window every time he needs to print. When my application is released to client it will be used especially for printing porposes of one particular document so he does not need to see margins and printer settings everytime.

Basically the print dialog should offer this function without you having to code it. I don't know on Windows but on my Mac you can select printers other than default and get the computer to remember them.

I see that you would like to set the printer to print with just the black toner. I would like to help you out with this issue today.
Depending on which operating system you are using and what driver was installed for the printer, the Grayscale option should be under Paper/Quality.
From the application, go to File, Print, click on the dropdown for the printer preferences and select Paper/Quality.
Click on the Color Options dropdown and then select Grayscale.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name. (Laserjet M177fw)
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, you might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.

Replace print head (not cartridge) on 7250 multi function printer

Rather than trash my 7250 printer that I like, I would like to know how to replace the print head mechanism and a source to buy a print head.
Background: Everything works on the printer except the reds. Plenty of ink.
No indication from printer on any failure.
Ink ports on both the cartridge and mounting port are clear. Magenta stopped all at once, Light majenta faded out shortly thereafter.
If the print head is not sold as a replacement part, I have a spare Hp 7360 printer from which I could scavenge a print head if necessary.
Anyone have any experience that can give me some pointers on replacing the print head or options other than trashing the printer?

TC (and airport extreme) peripheral support falls into universal (ethernet) and special (usb).
Anything that can be connected to the ethernet port will be translated through the wireless system and work just well (or not well) as it would if connected via ethernet. Devices plugged into the USB port (directly or through a hub) require special support by Apple. Apple writes drivers for these and adds a tab to the airport utility software. This used to be just printers. Currently, this is limited to printers and hard drives. MFCs go beyond the simple printing function Apple is trying to support via USB.
In my case, I have a Brother 7820n MFC. Its designed to operate over ethernet. Plugged into the TC, this means printing, scanning, and faxing (right out the phone jack) wirelessly - from every computer in the house.

Yes. In the Print window select the Custom layout and in the print size select Custom, 3 x 5. That will give you this:
It it doesn't show a fit the first time toggle the reverse button that't to the right of 3 in the screenshot. That should get it to snap to four per page.

PRINTING more than one photo on one page but not at iPhoto's preset sizes

Ahhh! This is so frustrating!
I have several photos which have been downsized to 7.2 x 7.2 cms. I would like to print them all out on one page and eventually add them to a specific photoframe. By printing onto one page it saves expensive photopaper and the enviroment!
However, Im stuck with iPhotos preset sizes which are no good to me! Why is there not a custom size option? Or just an option to print out the photos as the size they genually are?
I would rather not guess the size and use 'N-UP' or 'Sampler'. I just want to print out several small phots onto one page.
Please help me.

When printing a simple single photo, my picture looks fine until I press the print button, then the view of what it is going to print looks like it has zoomed in and cuts off part of my original picture. This does this with every picture I try to print.

When I press print, it looks like it crops or zooms my original pictures and cuts it off, on the print view. Therefore it only prints a zoomed in partial picture? Anyone else have this problem?

This usually occurs because you're printing a photo in an Aspect Ratio different from the actual shot. The Aspect Ratio is the shape of the photo, expressed as the length x breadth.
So, if you have - for instance - a 4:3 shot and try print that at 4:6 you will have issues.

Just for the record if you read my post you will see that, my opinion was about the use of 5900 drivers being used to make the 5850 printer work; and the fact that HP would probably not support such a thing. I expressed no opinion about HP producing drivers to support their printers under SL, which I am sure they are working around the clock to do. But in the here and now if you have a 5850 there are as yet no SL drivers, but if you wish to be able to continue to print then using 5900 drivers works - which will in all probability not be a course of action that HP would support. Hopefully in the fullness of time HP will produce proper 5850 drivers for SL.

How do I upload a file other than a photo to a website (like a resume to a job site)?

I have been using my iPad 2 to do job searches. Many websites ask me to upload my resume and/or a cover letter. I create these in Pages, and also save them as PDF files. When I click on the button to upload a file, the only choices I have are photos. Is there anyway to access other files saved on my iPad? Thanks!

You export your Timeline to file saved to the computer hard drive and from there upload it to YouTube at the YouTube web site.
Those YouTube extended time accounts are only for use at YouTube web site and not for use within the Premiere Elements YouTube feature.
Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask. Depending on your Premiere Elements version, look at the AVCHD.mp4 choices
for your export to file saved to the computer hard drive.

Is there another way to delete photos from ipad 2, other than sync. i want to delete one or two photos every now and then.

when sync, you lose all photos.. and have to start over. i am using picasa to get my photos.. i noticed when you take a pic from the ipad 2, you can delete
any photo you want.. i would think that it should be the same no matter how you put photos on the ipad... has any one found a solution to this..

You only lose photos when you sync, if you don't have the photos you want to keep on your iPad checked in Photos in iTunes. And no, the only pictures you can delete directly from iPad are those you took with iPad. All other pictures are managed through iTunes.

We are using activity profile on the shipment to trigger outputs at different statuses set on the shipment document. In order to have the output trigger based on activity profile we need to have the timing for these output types set to 3. Now the outputs set in the activity profiles are proposed on the sales document the first time the document is saved by the user. The communication details for the outputs proposed have the details from the user data set in the user master (SU01) for the person who saved the sales document as the print parameters for the output is S (user parameters).
The issue is we want the system to print outputs proposed on the sales document to different printers. E.g. The bill of lading output on the shipment document is required by the shipment planner to provide the same to the truck drivers. However the documents like pick list are required by the loaders loading the packages in the warehouse. Hence the documents need to be printed in different printers. How do we achieve this when the outputs proposed at the time the sales document is saved have the print parameters form the user data of the user who created the document?
