Cannot print direct from Android using wireless direct

I can pring from my HTC ONE using the HP ePrint App.
However I cannot print using "Wireless Direct" mode.
I have set it up,
The printer appears on the wifi lists.
I connect to it
I select a doc, select print, I search for a printer and nothing.
Please help

I tried using the iPad and that works fine.
Tried using HTC One, no luck

Is the problem with your android device or iPhone? When a new modem is istalled there's usually a new password associated with this - be sure to re-enter the new wifi passowrd on all your mobile devices and the printer.
If all the passwords have been re-entered, try restarting the device as this sometimes helps re-establish the conection.

Cannot print directly to the Adobe PDF printer

Hi. I cannot print directly to the Adobe PDF printer since receiving my new computer. I use Acrobat 9 (updated to the latest patch today) on a 64-bit Win 7 computer. A colleague has the same set up and she can print to the Adobe PDF printer without any issues. Fyi, I have tried printing from Word, my email program, & webpages with the same result, which is that the document goes into the printing queue and then the process just stops. This wasn't an issue on my previous computer running the same Acrobat version but under Win XP.
I have updated to the latest patch, and I have tried a repair installation of Acrobat with no affect. What am I missing?

Please check that when you print to PDF, the Save as dialog might goes in background. Watch for blinking icon in the taskbar at the bottom. Click the icon and give output PDF name.

Not sure what you are saying, what printer? what laptop? what network? what have you tried? but it sounds like you do not have the printer driver for the printer you use, on your laptop.
Find the make and model and go to their website and look for the Mac Printer software and install it.
Perhaps you do have it installed but haven't found it. Look down the list next to Printer: in the print dialog.
I assume you have found the envelope templates in Pages' Template Chooser?

I have an hp deskjet f4235. i cannot print anything from my computer.

I have Windows Vista Home premium and an HP Deskjet F4235 I cannot print anything from my computer. The page comes out blank except for a page number at the top and a file number and date at the bottom. I have wireless now but do not remember if this problem occurred before or after installation. I have unplugged the wireless for 5 minutes and replugged it. I have turned off the printer and restarted it. Nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. The DJ F4235 is not a wireless printer. Best option I can suggest on the information provided is to disconnect the USB cable connection and uninstall any software that you may have attempted to install. You can do this by add/remove programs from the Control Panel. Please ensure to only remove the HP DJ F4235 software ONLY however.
You will be prompted to reboot after the uninstall to complete the task, please do so. Verify that the printer is uninstalled by viewing the printers control panel - it should no longer be listed as an available printer?

Cannot print A3 from InDesign to Canon clc 4040 printer

Hi I have a problem that may or may not have anything to do with InDesign...
Office with 5 Mac Pros, PowerPC models, all running identical OSX 10.5.latest, Adobe CS4 everything.
All software up to date. Basically all machines identical.
All users are storing their files on the same network volume.
3 Macs can print A3 to the Canon clc 4040 but 2 cannot. This is Mac20 used by Kirsti and Mac07 used by Kevin.
If Kirsti sits at Mac20 she cannot print A3 from InDesign. It prints an A4 page, being part of the whole A3 document (its not the A3 doc shrunk to fit A4) The same goes for all other apps including MS Word. Page setup =A3, printer setup = A3, result... printer prints A4. BUT she can print A3 from Quark XPress 8.0.
If Kirsti logs in to another Mac she still cannot print A3 BUT the usual user of that Mac CAN print A3. But if they try to print Kirsti's files A3 they cannot.
All Macs have exactly the same driver from Canon. Latest version 2.0 from their website.
Deleting the InDesign preferences from the Mac makes no difference.
All Macs on same network.
All connecting to Canon clc 4040 via network using IP or using Bonjour. Same result with either protocol.
I have deleted and re-installed the printer countless times.
The only "work around" is to remove the A4 tray and "force" the printer to use A3.
The above scenario is the same for Kevin on Mac07
The Canon CLC 4040 has a "Fiery RIP" whatever that is...
Can anyone point me at where the problem lies? I have had a Canon tech on site but he could do nothing.

My experience is with CS2 on OS 10.3.9 and 10.4.11, so this may have changed in CS3, or 10.5....
Setup a custom paper size for your printer.
This can be accessed from within the InDesign Print window.
File > Print
Select your printer from the
Printer: pulldown menu (if not already selected)
Click
Page Setup... at the bottom left
Click
Settings and then select
Custom Paper Size from the list of options
Click
New, name the style, define the paper size and printable margins, and save it.
Click OK to exit the page setup.
In the InDesign Print Window, Click on
Page Setup... again
Select
Your New Paper Size in the Page Setup
Paper Size: pulldown, then click OK.
InDesign Print window
Setup should reflect the new page size and list the paper size as "Defined by Driver"
If your document page size is the same as your paper size, then the preview in the lower left should reflect that.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

You can also take a screen shot of your screen displaying the voucher. Press and release the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time. The screenshot is added to your Camera Roll album.

Cannot print coupons from SmartSource with FireFox 3.6.14

I was just upgraded to Firefox 3.6.14 and suddenly I cannot print coupons from SmartSource. I keep getting the message that Java is disabled but it is not. I uninstalled Java and reinstalled it and still get the problem. I can successfully print from Internet Explorer.
I've never had a problem with this until the 3.6.14 upgrade. On the Java web site, it said if you're getting an error message and you recently upgraded Firefox, download an update so I did that too. No help. I've restarted Firefox after each change.

There's a Bug in 3.6.14 with Java. A quick patch is being tested for a 3.6.15 release, but no date is set for that release. Probably early next week.

Cannot print photos from Shutterfly Studio or HP Photosmart Essential to Officejet J6480

I am unable to print photos from Shutterfly Studio or HP Photosmart Essential 3.5 to my Officejet J6480. After I click print, the printer sounds like it's going to print, the "printing" message appears in the printer window, the light blinks, but then nothing happens.
The J6480 is over a year old and I've never been able to print photos on it unless I copy the photos into Powerpoint and then print.
Relevant info:

Boot from LAN using Wireless Adapter

I have one Cisco Wireless PCI Adapter. Does it have a feature like PXE BootROM in NIC, so I can boot from LAN using wireless adapter?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. At issue would be the necessary setup for things like SSID.
Maybe in the future; many motherboards & chipsets are including Wireless NICs, they would need to provide some setup in the BIOS to configure the basic communication parameters necessary to establish the Layer one / Layer two link.

I cannot print coupons from Bricks coupons on Firefox, but can using IE.

Why do I get the message that my printer is the problem? I can print coupons from other websites without a problem. I can print if I use IE as my browser. If I contact coupons.com, I get instructions that I follow and still it won't work. I have installed coupon.com again when I get the message that I don't have it (when I already do). It is listed on my plugins and it is enabled.

Neither ctrl p or going to file>print [or any print options] does anything at all - nothing happens. I also don't have print.print_printer in my about:config list
