Cannot print due to a problem with the current printer

Cannot print (anymore) due to a problem with the current printer is the message I get every time I try to print something out. I tried to reinstall the printer's software, I changed the cables, but nothing happened. It seems to be something related to the printer setup utility. Any big idea on how to solve this? I was printing without problems until this afternoon. I have a HP Laserjet 1022 and sometimes I use Adobe Acrobat Writer. None is currently working.

Please run the Print and Scan Doctor. Write me back with the results or post a screen shot of the results and I will have a look at them.
This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there was a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results.

Problem with the MVMapView.print(printMapDiv,) function.

I have a problem with the MVMapView.print(printMapDiv,) function.
My FOIs are displayed correct on the screen but on the printed letter
the stroke(border) color and the labels of a circle are not displayed.
the fois have a custom style:

Thanks for your reply but it is not working and i can prove that.
I have a small example based on the mapviewer print tutorial. To run it you need a
mapviewer installation and copy the text into a html file. In the browser you can see
a green point with a red border and red label text on a map.
If you use the print button everything except the label text will be printed.
I think this is a mapviewer css-api bug.

Printing error: Problem initializing the current printer.

I keep getting this message, when printing documents out of indesign CS1.3.0.1
I have a PC running Window XP.
Trying to print to a Xerox DC-240 with built in fiery rip over a wireless network. I know the printer is working because I can print web pages etc.
When ever I try to print a document I have just created or one off and old template that I have updated and changed I get the above message.
The confusing thing is that I have not changed any settings downloaded and updates etc in the last few days. On Friday the prints we working perfectly, but since this week they have not been working. Also what is strange that any older documents I have work as long as they have not been saved.
I have tried copying the print settings from these jobs but this doesn't help. Also I have tried may different settings, ie changing font sets etc. But none of these seem to help.
Any more info required please contact me and I will try and help.

Two ways to do it:<br /><br />Fast way which causes you to lose any customizations if it turns out not to be the problem is to hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift, and while holding the keys down launch InDesign from the start menu or by right-clicking a desktop shortcut and selecting open (it won't work if you you hold the keys down before double-clicking a shortcut, but you can press them IMMEDIATELY after launching InDesign) and saying yes to the dialog asking if you want to delete your preferences. If you don't see the dialog, you weren't fast enough with the keyboard or you didn't hold the keys down long enough. <br /><br />My preferred method, which saves your old prefs in case you want them back, is to close ID, open Explorer and make sure you are set to show hidden and system files, then navigate to (for CS and CS2) C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version [no.] and rename the two preference files: InDesign Defaults and InDesign SavedData. In CS3 the SavedData file has been moved to \Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\InDesign\Version 5.0\Caches. The preferences will be replaced with a fresh set of factory defaults when you relaunch ID, but if that doesn't solve your problem you can always go back to explorer and throw out the new set and name the old ones back again, restoring any customizations. If new prefs solve your problem you should delete the renamed files.<br /><br />It's a good idea to also export any custom document and printer presets from the appropriate Preset > Define dialog prior to doing a preference replacement. Then you can just go back to the dialog and select load and you won't have to recreate all those wonderful things you've made and saved, and that will be wiped out with the old prefs files.<br /><br />Once you have a customized set of preferences which work, make a copy and store it somewhere on your system for easy retrieval and you can simply replace the two files with your good copies when things get funny.

Even i am getting the similar exception. The JSP report works fine on Oracle 9iDS. But throws following exception in Oracle 9iAS. I have already tried recompiling, etc but to no avail.

hello there i can't install itunes due to a problem with the windows installer package i found a page on this site (here is the link) http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=304405 i done every thing on it and i still haven't been able to fix the problem i have tryed the following unstalling itunes deleteing the registry keys deleteing all the temp files disableing all anit-virus software and anit-spyware. runing cc clearner downloading a new installer for itunes and windows installer and the script thing. and trying to reinstall. nothing seems to work i don't know what else to do this is the error message i get when i try to install i tunes. "there is a problem with this windows installer package.
A program required for thsi install to complete could not be run.
Contact your suupport personnel or package vendor."
Please Help i would be most greatfull for any advise given

I pulled my brains out trying to figure this bug out and I may have a solution for you.
All of it installed fine in my desktop, but a friend's laptop got the error you mentioned on quicktime, itunes, flash, officeXP and about anything else I tried to load for him.
If you look in: C:\documents and settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp there will be an iTunes install log...open it in Notepad and see if it isn't exiting with a 1619 error while running msiexec.exe
If this is the case, this fix should work for you.
Seems some configurations of XP (and possibly Vista) aren't allowing full administrator rights to the account you set up when you installed XP (even though User Editor says you do have those rights.)
I read 2 MS articles and turned off simple file sharing, then gave ownership of the entire C: drive to the administrator. Logged the admin account off, logged his "admin" account in, and then gave rights to his personal directory to his account (c:\docs and settings\<username>)
Once I did that, every install that had previously errored out performed flawlessly.

Two new problems with the Quicktime Plug-in

I recently discovered two new problems with the current Quicktime Plug-in for Mac OS X.
First, the Quicktime Plug-in is unable to stream Quicktime media in any internet browsers other than Safari.
There is just nothing on the spot where the embedded Quicktime player should be.
Second, the Quicktime Plug-in only shows the message "The operation couldn't be completed. This file is not a movie file (-2048)"
everytime it should work together with the Flip4Mac Plug-in. The thing is, when facing a webpage where a wmv or wma file is
embedded, there only shows that error message on the spot where the player should exist. I first thought that it would be a
problem with Flip4Mac. So I uploaded about this problem on telestream.net, only to hear that the error message above belongs
to the Quicktime Plug-in.
Both of these problems did not happen at all only three weeks ago. The embedded Quicktime player showed up without any problem
in my Firefox and Opera, and wmv or wma files were streamed successfully through the Flip4Mac and Quicktime Plug-ins.
Then, suddenly, after some point, these two problems began to occur, and there is no information on how to solve them on the web.
I obviously tried uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime. I even completely erased the hard disk of my Macbook, and reinstalled the
whole Mac OS X. But the problems still remained. I borrowed another Macbook from my friend to check whether these problems
occur in other computers, and they did occur in my friend's Macbook as well. So they are definitely not the matter of my own Macbook only.
I think these might be the problems with the new Quicktime Plug-in 7.7.1.
Please check about these problems and solve them on the next version of the Quicktime Plug-in.

Some things to try...
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
If you cannot open Reader by itself, try to disable Protected Mode in the registry; download, unzip, then run the attached registry script

Photosmart 7520 error. there is a problem with the printer. turn printer off then on.

I have a photosmart 7520 experiencing the following issues.
Problem #1: Randomly all the lights start to blink off and on and the display reads the following :
Error . There is a problem with the printer. Turn printer off then on.
I cannot find any one action that triggers this to happen.
Problem #2: When the printer is turned on and idle, also at RANDOM times, the printer will "Ding" followed by the wireless light blinking. Then what sounds like the cartridges being cleaned, then a sound like the feeder spinning or the print head running full track from side to side, then ending with a "Ding" and then returning to normal.
When this occurs, the wireless connection is disconnected then reconnected. Also this Disables the "Scan to computer" function to all the computers on the network and requires manually re-enabling all .
From what I can tell the printer is restarting itself.
It is plugged directly into the wall outlet, no surge protector.
Tech support has already run me through the clean the print head steps, escalated me up the chain, and ultimately replaced the printer with a brand new one.
THE NEW PRINTER IS DOING ALL THE SAME THINGS AS THE PREVIOUS ONE.
This printer is connected wirelessly to a Netgear N900 router. My computers all running Windows 7, all are on the same network and workgroup and all are running Mcafee Total Protection.
If anyone is or has experienced the same or similar problems, I could sure use some help.

How did you fix this?
I replaced an HP printer recently for a new Photosmart 7520 after a complete ink container emptied into the printer.
The old printer sometimes had difficulties switching it on and the new printer has the same problem.
Also the wireless connection regulary drops and can only be reenabled by switching of the printer and switching it back on, only this sometimes takes more than ten minutes before a simple push on the power button is translated in a power on of the printer.
Since the previous printer also suffered from these "power" issues, I think the problems are power related, but I have to check this first before I can say anything more about this.

Your AirPort Extreme supports WPA.
WEP is outdated and considered fairly useless, so use WPA.
Be sure you are using AirPort Utility 5.6. If you are not running Lion then use AirPort Utility 5.5.3.
AirPort Utility 6.0 cannot administer 802.11b/g base stations.

T.code FBL5N: a problem with the print of the output list

with reference to the t.code FBL5N, I have a problem with the print of the output list of the report.
When I execute the print, I obtain one customer for each page printed.
I wonder if is possible to obtain more customers for each page printed.
Could anyone help me?

Hi,
Though personally i havent tried this option, check the same
Go to Menu: Settings >> Switch List
This will make the value displayed in ALV format and then try taking print outs.

I have put a lot of work into a docx document on my Mac, but now can't open it as it gives the error message: 'the Open XML file cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents. Details, Unspecific

When opening the original file the message said: 'this file contains word 2007 for Windows equations' etc. but I managed to track changes fine, and saved, closed and re-opened it numerous times without problem. Some graphs seemed moved, and various formulas
were illegible, but no other weirdness was observed.
I have microsoft 2008 installed on my Mac OS X version 10.6.8.
I've tried to fix it using various solutions suggested here, but am afraid am too IT illiterate to have had any luck, please help I'm new to all this!

This issue is related strictly to oMath tags and occurs when a graphical object or text box is anchored to the same paragraph that contains the equation.

Need your assistance on the issue that we are facing in prod environment.
We are able to open web console from remote machine and able to view monitoring pane as well as my workplace folders from console . Able to view and access alerts and other folder in the monitoring pane. We are able to view and access My Workplace folder
and able to view the reports in Favorite Reports folder. But when I click on run Report we are getting the below error "500 Internal Server Error - There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed."
In our environment we have 3 servers one is SQL server and two are SCOM servers. Please advise how to fix this issue. Do we have to do any thing from SQL End?
Errors: Event ID 21029: Performance data from the OpsMgr connector could not be collected since opening the shared data failed with error "5L".
Event ID 6002 : Performance data from the Health Service could not be collected since opening the shared data failed with error 5L (Access is denied.).
