Cannot print from Crystalreports Viewer anymore

Hello,
we have an asp.net application running on our intranet. One workstation accessing that app showed a strange behaviour. Everything was fine and then suddenly when the user hits the print button the viewer shows a pdf export dialog. Other machines do not show this. We did not change anything to the local config (at least not planned).
How can we get this thing back to printing?

Saurabh is on the right track, but there is something not quite right here...
Crystal reports has two print modes; ActiveX and PDF. These are set at the application level. E.g.; it's one or the other. No way for that app to tell one client to print PDF and another ActiveX. And while you can control this in code, it would again be all users or none with the coded print mode.
Only way I could explain the behavior you are describing is that this one user is actually running a different application(?)>

Cannot print from Firefox

For some time now I cannot print from Firefox. I thought it might be a glitch after an update, but have updated again since and it still does not work. If I try to print to a printer, nothing happens. If choose print and then save to PDF it seems to work, but then when I try to open the file I get an error message from Adobe saying "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired.". On the other hand, I can print and save to PDF from Safari without any problem. I am using Mac OSX 10.5.8, Firefox 6.0.2.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Please do a CLEAN install:
Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
Windows:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

Cannot print from hp DeskJet F4580

I have just bought my first MacBook with Mac OS X 10.6.4. Great computer.
However I cannot print from the wireless hp printer. I downloaded the latest driver from hp (maybe a fault) and started to install. Everything went as expected untill the setup process of the Printer Queue. Here I add the printer in order to create the Printer Queue, but when I click on the continue buttom I get this warning: Are you sure you want to continue without adding a Print Queue? I finished the installation with a congratulation sign.
Therefore there is no doubt, that the printer queue is missing. However I cannot found out to install the printer queue.
The printer is a socalled all-in-one printer. The scanner function is perfect with the wireless connection. But not the printer function.
I have also tried to connect via usb cabel. The result is the same. Scanner okay. Printer not okay.
The printer works perfect under Windows.
I hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance.

I'm having the same problem ! The wireless printing works using OS 10.5 on a G4 PowerBook but not OS 10.6 on an intel MacBook. I'm going to get in touch with HP as have used the latest drivers (as you have) - I've re-installed the HP software using Software Update for the latest version - still can't print. USB printing is also faulty so must be their drivers.
I'll let you know if I have any luck !

Is it possible to print from design view in CS3

I've got a summary print out / display page for a CF application that I'd like to be able to print out in Design view.
DW CS3 only seems to print the code page and I don't want to print from a browser as that will only show the options currently selected - I'm after having all options displayed.
Is it possible? Any suggestions other than printScreen?

When my wife updated Firefox to version 7.0.1 she was no longer able to print items from the web such as coupons. She can print from her email (Cox) account.
She is running Vista.
When I updated to Firefox 7.0.1, I did not have a problem. I am running Vista also.
Tried using the Firefox help page but no help so far.
I did notice that on her computer in the "Plugins" for Firefox that HP Smart Web Printing is now disabled and is not compatible with Firefox 7.0.1. She had no problems until she did the update.

Help: Cannot boot from leopard disc anymore, everything else fine

I was working on an ibook and messing with it in firewire mode and was going to install leopard on it that way from my macpro. (just letting you know the context)
I tried to restart my machine(mac pro) and boot leopard both by pushing C and by running the installer.
I get the "You need to hold the power button panic message" everytime I do this. I unplugged external devices and tried this also and it has the same problem.
I cannot boot from the dvd anymore. If I eject the disc, osx loads normally.
Any ideas what I can do? (I have tried safe boot, pram clearing and hold option on boot to check options)

I am certainly not above taking the machine in but I will say this.....
I have been building and working on PC's for 15-20 years. I have never once used or had the need for a repair shop. It is my hobby. I recently switched to osx to give the mac a try and I love it.
I will say that vista/xp has four times as many problems but at least i can fix whatever comes my way hardware or software.
Any more ideas how to settle this without making my first trip to the repair shop ever?...

PROBLEM: Cannot print from Photoshop
After restart error message appears:

• All print commands are greyed out and unavailable — even to call up the printer commands cannot be done.
The printer printed fine until about 2 weeks ago when this error message appeared. Printing continues from Pages, I-photo, preview etc. — only Photoshop fails.
The printer has been turned on and off, as have open documents been closed and open etc.. Preferences reset. Repeatedly I have read through blogs and forums and attempted to contact Adobe — all without results
Epson support struggled to find reason and several solutions were tried and they assume this is an Adobe problem.
Running Mac Powerbook X 10.10.2 / Photoshop CS6 13.0.6.x64

I cannot print from firefox. I can print from open office. It seems to have something to do with when frames open because in IE, I can print a whole page, but when I try to use a print button embeded in a page or frame it does not work.

In Internet Explorer, I was able to print by pushing the print button, but when opening a frame, like in mapquest, the embedded print button brings up an options window that has print frames options in it, but when hit OK in this box, a second error box comes up with a yellow exclamation point and nothing prints. Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
    To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.

I cannot print from Adobe on My Mac

I have tried all I know to do, but I cannot print from Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 from my Mac running Mac OSX - 10.5.7. I have two different printers - a Cannon MF4150 & an HP Color Laserjet 2550. When I click print, the preview is not available and it just goes into queue and never prints. I am also running VMware Fusion -- I cannot get it to print from the Windows XP virutal machine either. I am using just the standard Adobe Reader 9 in the Windows side. I don't know what could possibly be wrong. The Windows XP side is printing through a sharing mode with the mac side. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong?

I've tried that multiple times as well as resetting the printers themselves. I've deleted and re-added the drivers as well. Any other suggestions?

That is the HP printer dialog - not part of Photoshop or under Photoshop's control.
You need to contact HP about this issue, and see if they have an updated driver that fixes the problem in their driver.

Cannot print from internet

I have an HP computer, HP office jet 6600 hooked up wirelessly, can print from windows but cannot print from the internet. When I did a windows trouble shooter, it came up with missing microsoft teredo tunneling adaptor/driver. I tried downloading the repair for it and it started a scan that started at 10 PM and was still running the next morning. I removed tht from the computer but still cannot print from internet. I see that you can print from Windows, but not from the internet. I am happy to help you with this printing issue!
What version of Windows are you using? If you do not know the operating system you are using, please visit this website. Whatsmyos.

Cannot print from Firefox 3.6.13

Cannot print from Firefox. 3.6.13. Tells me it is printing but only a blank page comes out of the printer. Safari works fine, but I like Firefox. Using Mac 10.6.5 .

Try This!
1) Go to Print Preview
2) Print
3) Name: HP PSC 2100 series (depend on your printer)
4) Properties...
5) Paper size: letter
6) Change to Paper size: A6
7) OK
8) Repeat step 4 again
9) Change back again Paper size: letter
10) OK
11) Don't print, but go back to Print Preview again and see if it works
This is the one that have work for me after trying several times modifying about:config with no success. Good luck and hope that will help.
