Cannot print from IMac or Dell Latitude Laptop on Canon MX330 printer via Airport Extreme.

Trying to connect a Canon MX330 printer to an IMac and Dell Latitude laptop via Airport extreme and having no luck.
All devices recognize the printer, but when I try to print from the IMac it says that the printer is offline, even though it is not. The printer status on the IMac says offline until I clear the printer queue and then the status goes online.
When I try to print from the Dell laptop the printer reacts, but nothing prints.
I have run through all of the troubleshooting in the support section online. Any advice?

Unfortunately, not all USB printers are compatible with AirPort base stations. In addition, the AirPort's USB port does not support the "advanced" printer functions, like scanning, copying or faxing, of multi-function printers.
To see if your printer is compatible, take a look at thisiFelix Unofficial AirPort Printer Compatibility link. If your printer isn't listed, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't work, but simply that it has not been verified. iFelix also provides the following workaround for printers not on the list that would certainly be worth a try.

Finally, check out this IBM support article to see if your printer is listed as having a Postscript or PCL3 interface. If it does, then it will most likely work with the AirPort's USB port. Printers that use the "HP LIDIL" interface must be connected to a computer directly and will not work.

Transfer Windows 7 OEM from iMac to Dell D630 Laptop

I purchased a Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 Bit, System Builder OEM DVD from Amazon last year. I installed this on my iMac in conjunction with Parallels.
I rarely use Windows 7 on my iMac, but installed because I needed to run several Windows programs.

I cannot get past Gateway PING when connecting Samsung BD player to Internet via Airport Extreme?

I have now been trying for 2 days to get my Samsung 3d BD Player to connect to my wireless iinternet (via VIVID WIRELSS) in Australia. I am using an Airport Extreme Base Station WIRED to the BD Player and wirelessly connecting to the WiFi. The Network Test shows Ok for MAC and IP, Gatewy, DNS etc... but wont get to the Internet test because it stalls at Gateway Ping. I have tried all of the various setup changes - Auto, manual, changing the adresses but noting works. Sometimes it takes longer to fail the Gateway Ping (when I put in the WAN settings as opposed to the LAN settings but none work.I know I have the correct info in my WiFi setup with the password and security etc... Is this just an incompatibility between Samsung and Apple? It worked fine with my Pioneer player and also my Panasonic Player? Any help gratefully accepted!!!

I assume that these results are coming from the Samsung BD player's network administration interface ... correct?
When configured to join another wireless network, the Extreme is also reconfigured as a bridge. That means all IP address information must come from the upstream router that is providing DHCP server services ... so the Samsung is actually testing the upstream router's connectivity to the Internet, not the Extreme's.
I am venturing to guess that if you plug the BD player directly into the upstream router, it would not have any issues connecting. So, this would confirm my earlier statement that Ethernet ports on the Extreme are not enabled.
I would further guess that if you connected the Extreme directly to the upstream router by Ethernet and configure it for both Wireless Mode = Create an wireless network and Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode), that the BD player would get the proper IP addresses it needs for Internet connectivity.

Win XP does not print via Canon MP970 via Airport Extreme

OK, I bought a Canon MP970 printer and hooked it up to the airport extreme, changed all of the ports to 10.0.1.1 on my XP, shared the printer, ran Bonjour, ran airport utility, and everything I know how to do. I can print from my Powerbook G4 and from a new black macbook that I just bought on my network. Problem is I cannot print from my windows XP PC. Very frustrating. It did work fine with my HP printer; that is print from my laptops AND my PC desktop via airport extreme. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

OK, I kept working at it and seemed to have fixed the problem. I finally just redirected the port to a local one "9101"and not the 10.0.1.1 and began working. I am not sure what I did definitively to make it work. And I just installed the latest printer drivers into my PB G4 and new blackbook and worked. I really just need to trash the PC and go with Apple but you know.......wife.....$$$$$, etc....

Shared printer from a pc does not show up on my printer list.

I have a macbook air and the shared printer from a pc does not show up on my printer list. I know it's available on the network as I have a another pc that has access to it. The Mac did find it at one time but it has since disappeared. Appreciate help.

Unfortunately, AirPrint will only work with AirPrint enabled HP printers.
Check the HP site. They may have an app available you can use for your USB / Airport printer.

The HP Officejet Pro 8500 A909 is not an AirPrint printer, if that is what you're asking. HP has proprietary apps that may be suitable for your needs.
To print directly from an iPad / iPhone you will need an AirPrint compatible printer or another device to act as a print server. That can be a Mac computer running Printopia ($19.95 with free trial) or handyPrint (donation - supported). The Mac must be "on" but may be asleep for them to work. Equivalent PC options may exist but you're on your own finding them.
You can also buy this standalone print server:

These options enable you to use any printer available to your Mac, even older ones that may predate AirPrint by decades.

sorry to say but its the firewire technique which Migration Asst. uses. It does not migrate over Ethernet.. its actually very simple...
you put your G4 into target disk mode. You put the iMac into migration asst., attach the cable and the migration (file copying) begins after you chose to proceed.
The reality is firewire is faster than most standard ethernet anyway... and wireless? it would take an extraordinary amount of time.

If the printer has WiFi, Kodak has an app in the iTunes Store that allows printing to at least some of their WiFi-equipped printers. Third-party printing apps such as PrintCentral are also available. All such apps have limitations, so check them out thoroughly before you pay for any such app.
For other printers, you can route the printing through your computer. If you have a Mac, Printopia would be worth a look. Fingerprint is another option that is available for both Mac OS X and Windows system. You could also consider an AirPrint-capable print server. Lantronix makes a couple of models, including one that supports a USB printer:
