Cannot print photos from PhotoSmart

I am unable to print photos in PhotoSmart.  Once I select a photo and say "print", I only get a message saying that the photo size is too large for the paper size.  I am unable to change the paper size in the menu to the right.  Thus, I cannot print anything.  All of the other functions appear to be working.

Good morning,
If you post this question in the printing section of the forum, it will probably get better exposure to folks who know the printers better than most of us in this section do.

  • Cannot print photos from Shutterfly Studio or HP Photosmart Essential to Officejet J6480

I am unable to print photos from Shutterfly Studio or HP Photosmart Essential 3.5 to my Officejet J6480.  After I click print, the printer sounds like it's going to print, the "printing" message appears in the printer window, the light blinks, but then nothing happens.
The J6480 is over a year old and I've never been able to print photos on it unless I copy the photos into Powerpoint and then print.

    Thanks!

I have Kodak Easy Share and it is changing over to Shutterfly.  Why can't I print pictures from my Kodak camera or Shutterfly on my new HP 6510 printer?  Why isn't there an option except Snapfish?

  • Cannot print photos from iPhone to ePrint

I am trying to print photos from my iPhone directly to eprint. They are not printing. When I check status of the print job - it lists in the print que that they have been discarded due to detection of spam. What is confusing is I used to be able to print direct from my iPhone to eprint.
I cannot figure out the problem.

    Hi cnieto,
There are a few things that could be causing the email to be marked incorrectly as spam.  Make sure the email falls within these specifications:
    1.  The ePrint address is listed as the only recipient (no other addresses in the "To:", "Cc/Bcc:" fields).
    2.  The email's size including attachments doesn't exceed 5MB.
    3.  Make sure you have text in the body of the email along with your attachments.
    4.  If the email is being forwarded, be sure to remove the "FW:" portion of the subject line.
If your email fits all of these specifications and is still being rejected, let me know and we'll look further at the issue.
If I have solved your issue, please feel free to provide kudos and make sure you mark this thread as solution provided!

  • Cannot print photos from Picasa

I have been successfully printing photos straight from Picasa but now, for some reason,  when I hit 'print' on the Picasa screen another smaller screen appears entitled 'HP Photosmart B110 series - Picasa' instructing me to 'start printing' 'cancel printing' or 'save'
Underneath there is a black & white picture of my colour photo, scale unclear!
When I hit print, all that comes out is a small b&w picture.  Not at all what I wanted.
What have I done to cause this??  At the moment I am unable to print off any photos at all

  • In ability to print photos from PhotoSmart

After selecting Print in Photo Smart, a message comes up which says that the paper size is too small for the print.   Print stays grayed out and there is no way to change the print size/paper size.  I'm using the HP TouchSmart 600 and printing to an HP all-in-one printer.  I can select photos, edit them in different ways, but not print.

    Hi pobby,
I understand that you are attempting to print from your printer to an HP computer, and I would be happy to assist you in this endeavor!
I will need to know what version of Windows Operating System you computer is running, as well as the product and model number of your printer.
In terms of connection, is your printer connected with a USB cable or is it connected to a network? If you are connected wirelessly to a router, how far away is your router from your printer?
Are you able to make a photocopy from your printer in color (provided it is an copier/ printer/ scanner)? If you are, are you able to print a document from notepad?
In the meantime, you can download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose any minor software or connective issues.
Please post back with the necessary information. I will be looking forward to your reply!
    Regards

  • Cannot print photos in IPhoto 09

Snow Leopard. Followed Toad's instructions to reinstall IPhoto, Sorta' messed up now. Cannot print photo from IPhoto Libraray Photos pg. Exported photo from there to "Pictures"; msg shows " Unable to create/User/MMM/:Picture/DSC,,,,.pg". Didn't get an IPhoto icon on dock but found a way. Have an icon on desktop "IPhoto Library" that opens IPhoto but it is also opened when I open IPhoto icon on dock, have done Software Update for latest on HP printer. Am losing much sleep trying to get this figured out. Should I delete all IPhoto again and start over on reinstall from disk "c"?

No answer yet so still messing up not knowing what I'm doing, but do know I have IPhoto so messed up. Have an iPhoto icon on the Dock and iPhoto Library on desktop.
Found 2 iPhoto apps in Trash. Dragged out to desktop (iPhoto 07-27-19 (is this a date?) .app and iPhoto.app.  Don't know what is in them...so what to do now. Do I delete current iPhoto icon from Dock and open one of the ones I just mentioned? If so, how do I do this? Should I clear all iPhoto info and reinstall from Mac Installation disk?
Have Dictionary on Dock which opens dictionary; also have Dictionary.app on desktop which, if I draag into Trash, then Dictionary on Dock no longer opens.
Hoping to hear real soon, cause I am getting so impatiet after several days now of getting more into trouble, to clean this mess up and get on with other things.

  • Cannot Print Photos via Printer Sharing

I cannot print photos from iPhoto or Preview using Printer Sharing to my iMac anymore.  I get this error message when I attempt to print a photo:
    /Library/Printers/EPSON/InkjetPrinter2/Filter/rastertoescpII.app/Contents/MacOS/ rastertoescpII failed
I am using a Mac Book Pro sharing the printer connected to my iMac over a wireless network.  I can still print documents OK, so the printer sharing is working fine.
I have recently upgraded to iPhoto 9.2.3, and have updated the printer driver via Software Update.
If I connect the printer directly to the Mac Book Pro I have no problems printing photos from either iPhoto or Preview.
The iMac still prints from the older iPhoto OK.
This is rather a pest so I welcome any suggestions.
    Robin.

Fixed.  Installing Mountain Lion has done the trick.  There must have been a glitch in Snow Leopard that was the bother.  Anyway, I am happy I can now print form my MBP via printer sharing.

  • Cannot print photos

I do not know what happened. I have a pedestal iMac and Epson Photo960. I have printed photos from iPhoto and after last upgrade of iPhoto I cannot print photos from iPhoto. Any ideas what has happened?

    Quit iPhoto.
Locate a file named com.apple.iPhoto.plist and get rid of it. iPhoto will create a new one the next time it runs. Empty the trash and run a permission repair using the Disk Utility.
The files can be found here:
    -->/Users/YourName**/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iPhoto.plist

  • I cannot print photos with my 2610 Photosmart All in One. It does all else well, I get a message tha

My Photosmart 2610 All in One works percectly except it wont print photos from my files. The printer is about 6 years old and is no longer supported by HP. I have the original set-up disc. Can I use it by using that set-up disc?

The router has to support Bonjour for airprint to work.  I don't know whether yours does or not - hopefully someone else will be able to say. One frequent suggestion for this problem is to be sure you router has the latest firmware installed.

  • Printing photos from the HP Photosmart 6515- won't pick up the photo paper

I am trying to print photos from my HP Photosmart 6515. I have loaded the photo paper as the videos show, but the printer does not want to pick up the photo paper. I keep getting an error messge that says I am out of paper. If I put regular paper back into the printer, it will print on the regular paper, but not the photo paper. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello jackie4,
I understand you are getting an 'Out of Paper' error when trying to pick up photo paper on your Deskjet 3515. I would like you to go ahead start troubleshooting An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays on the Control Panel and the e-All-in-One Does Not Pick Up Paper ....

  • Cannot copy photos from HP Photosmart with Windows Vista

I know how to copy photos onto my iPod (30G) and have done so before. I recently bought a new computer with Vista and cannot copy photos from my Pictures folder. I get a message that says, "Some of the photos...were not copied to the iPod...because they cannot be displayed on your iPod." What can I do to help fix this? I have tried resizing and using Adobe Photoshop and I get the same message.
    Thanks for the help.

I use Picasa. You don't have to use iTunes at all. Connect the phone with the USB cable and launch the app of your choice, such as Picasa. Click the "Import" button at the upper left. Your iPhone should appear in the dropdown of choices to import from. You can then import all or some of the photos in the Camera Roll. You should be able to do the same thing with Microsoft Picture Manager or any other photo management program.
The reason that Elements is the only choice is that's the only one that iPhoto on the phone recognizes albums in.
You cannot move photos INTO the Camera Roll from your computer; it's a one-way transfer. But you can sync photos to the Photos app on the iPhone. You either use Elements, or just create a folder on your computer for photos to sync, then create a sub-folder for each album you want on your computer. Copy the photos to each album, then go to the Photos tab in iTunes and select the top-level folder. When you sync each sub-folder will become an album on the iPhone.
However, I consider the photo app on the iPhone rather limited and klunky. Instead I use the app MyPics from the app store. It syncs photos from my Picasa Web albums directly to the phone over the air. I can also create albums in Picasa Web from the phone, and upload images from the Camera Roll directly to Picasa Web.
Another way to get photos (and other files) to and from the phone is Dropbox and similar cloud-based storage solutions.
