Hey there, I'm facing some issues in verifying my user status.
I tried the payment through DreamSpark account:
1. In the Get verified through my school option I can't see name of my school situated in
Ghaziabad, India.
2. And how to get a verification code? Where do I get a Microsoft representative or what should ask my school authorities?

On a certain website, it says to click here to download plugin (Java). When executing the download, it says 'the installer cannot proceed with the current Internet Connection settings. I'm running 4.01. It was fine before the upgrade.

On a certain website, it says to click here to download plugin Java Runtime Environment. I receive the message installer cannot proceed with the current Internet Connection settings. It was fine before the upgrade to 4.01. I have another PC that has IE on it and it works fine and again it worked fine until the upgrade to 4.01. I've done the off-line download but in Firefox it still says I need the plugin and still results in the installer cannot proceed with the current Internet Connection settings.

You also need to update your Flash installation since the one you have at the moment exposes your system to attack. It's a similar story for Adobe Reader.

CJ88 Cannot proceed with FUL settlement to Final asset

We have a PO with WBS as account assignment. Users posted a down payment to this PO in 12/2010 and when they ran the settlement Type 1 (Automatic) it posted a DP posting to the AUC transaction type 180.
In Standard SAP transaction, this will get reversed if the users post the invoice and executes CJ88 again.
Now, our problem is that, the invoice was not posted until now, and the DP is still open in the AUC. THey want to do settlement to the final asset but is getting an error CJ88 type 3 (FULL)
*ORIGINAL Error:* You cannot post comp. retirement for asset 102000121 0 with this trans.type

Diagnosis
A down payment was posted to asset 102000121 0. In depreciation area 01, if not elsewhere, all down payments were not cleared.
Procedure
Before posting a complete retirement on this asset, you have to first clear the down payment in all depreciation areas.
FY 2010 is now closed in asset. I tried posting an ofsetting entry for the DP on FY2011. I used ttype 181. I tried to re-setlle type 3 (FULL) but now, the error message refers to Area 32
*AFTER POSTING TTYPE 181:*You cannot post comp.retirement for asset 102000121 0 with this trans.type

Additionally, how can i clear the DP in 2010, with a posting in 2011 and be able to execute the settlement to final asset.

Please review the note 35309.
As the long text of the error suggests, the cause for this error is most likely down to downpayments which are not yet settled.
In general the settled down-payments and their clearings should be balanced to ZERO in the settlements.
In investment measures with summary settlement you will always get the error AA341, if the down-payment balance is not zero.

Cannot proceed with installing Lion on an external drive

Hi everyone,
I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro, 10.6.8 installed. I'm trying to install Lion on an external HDD connected via an ExpressCard/SATA adapter. The target HDD has GUID table with a single partition containing a couple of regular folders (no OS installed). I boot up my Snow Leopard OS, run the Lion installation, choose the external HDD and it starts the installation with no warnings.
Then when the progress bar reaches the end, I'm told to close all applications and restart. After the restart I'm suddenly booted to my old Snow Leo. I see a Mac OS Install Data folder on the external drive, but I cannot boot off it and cannot continue the installation.
I have a suspicion that the problem might be that I haven't formatted the drive and it contained some data when I started the installation, but I doubt this is the cause. I don't want to format the drive because it contains some necessary data.
If anyone encountered anything like that, please describe your cases.

Hi. Thanks a lot for the quick response. I bought Lion on the App Store but it's not downloading. It says "Waiting..." and has now for ten minutes. It's also trying to download the update to another app and it's saying "Waiting..." for that one too. Not sure what to do or what is going wrong.
Okay, just now the download started working. I would delete this reply but I don't see how to do it.

Check your hard drive for a backup that may not be listed in iTunes. Backups are located at one of the following locations:
Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Windows XP: %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Windows Vista: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Windows 7: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
If you find a backup in the "Backup" folder (they have long alphanumeric filenames), manually delete it and try syncing again. If you don't see one, and you're running Windows, try doing the following:
Quit iTunes.
Start an elevated command prompt (Start Menu>All Programs>Accessories>right-click "Command Prompt">choose "Run as Administrator")
Once in the command prompt, type "netsh winsock reset" (with our the quotes) and press ENTER.
Reboot your computer.
Restart iTunes.
Connect your phone and try syncing again.

When i try to upgrade iPad, i cannot proceed with terms and conditions page

i forgot my apple ID password when i after i upgrade my ipad. So i changed reset my password online. After i entered new password, terms and conditions page appeared, however there was no response no matter what option i choose be it agree, disagree or A and B.

Had flash problems in Safari and Firefox.
Regular flash update made no difference.

Tried downloading and running flash uninstaller for Mac.
Restarted computer every time.
Still get this error when attempting to install Flash:

Error during recovery -- Windows installation cannot proceed

I have a Satellite A355-S6925, and I tried to reset my computer by pressing 0. Now I'm getting this error.
The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, then restart the installation.
Now what? If I click OK, it just ends up back at the same error.

Never mind, I got it. I just held 0 again to start it over.

X2-01 cannot sync with outllook 2007

Please help: Nokia x2-01 cannot sync with outlook 2007, windows xp SP3
I have tried two brand new x2 phones, various ovi suites and various nokia suites.
I just cannot sync my outlook contacts and calendar to my phone.
Nokia suite 3.4.49 can sync the calendar, but not contacts.
I keep getting the messages as if my contact application is open, but nothing is open my phone.
I cannot seem to close the contact application on my phone.
I also get Error Code: 8070 0000 8d5e000a

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
This error code implies that some of your sync operations have failed with the end point. Try the following solution to fix the problem with syncing:
Open Nokia Suite.
Select Tools > Options > My phones
Use Phone options dropdown to select the device and then press Remove this phone.
Once all devices are deleted, Reboot the computer, open Nokia Suite, connect the phone and select Add new phone.
Some more things to check:
Your phone and computer are properly connected and the Anti-virus application settings does not impair the operation.
Connect the phone to your computer with a USB cable that came in the sales package.
Connect your USB cable directly to the PC do not use a USB Hub.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10 running on? And, what video card/graphics card does that computer use?
Is this the first time you are using Premiere Elements 10 or have you worked with it before successfully? There is no easy solution until we
know the details and troubleshoot to determined what caused the problem.
1. Can you open a new project?
2. After you saved/closed the problem project, did you move, delete, or rename any of the files/folder that were related to the source media
for that project?
3. Please review the Adobe document on troubleshooting damaged projects.

IPhone cannot sync with Windows 7

Hi, I am unable to sync my iPhone (OS 4.3.3) can't be paired with my laptop (Windows 7). I have reinstalled my iTunes and restart my laptop but it still did not work. My power button is not working hence I am unable to restart my iPhone. Does any one know how to solve this? I can't click restore to factory setting as my files are not backed up.
The error message that I received is as such:
iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore the iPhone to factory setting.

Sorry-that was rubbish. the Iphine shows up as a device and also charges but when I open Itunes the option to sync is greyed out and when I use the diagnostic tool it says no device found. I have upgraded to the latest Itunes but still no joy.
