Cannot project page using projector...is it possible?

I have a new MacBook aluminum and it works fine to project PowerPoint through a USB cable to a projector and then on a large screen. I was told that I could project pages of a file, too. Tried it and only projected the earth photo. Am I trying the impossible or is it possible and I am missing something? Thanks.

The USB cable (probably provided in the box, and you don't want to buy firewire right?) is there to move the pictures from the memory card to the computer. You have to go for the 4 to 6 pin Firewire cable, no other choice.

DVI interface does't allow audio. Is there optical IN from your Panasonic TV? By then you can connect your ATV to Panasonic using optical together. It will work.

Is it possible to launch a form from an OAF page using OAF Personalization

In R11, the Customer Standard form ARXCUDCI was customized to call a custom block from the Address screen. In R12 the customer standard form has become an OAF page. We have decided to create a custom form for the custom block using Oracle Developer. However we need a mechanism to call this custom form from the Customer Standard OAF page.
My query is if it is possible to call a custom form from an OAF page using OAF personalization only (i.e. without directly customizing the code of the OAF page)

Dear Apurba,
I have made some progress.
I have open the Customers OAF Page, queried a customer, selected a site and opened it.
Then chose Personalize "Account Site Address"
There I added a Button on the Header Address level
ID=XXTVL_LASSY_BUTTON
Populated the Additional Text and Prompt properties.
Also set Destination URI=form:SYSADMIN:SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR:STANDARD:FND_FNDMNMNU.
The button is now showing in the address page, and when I click on it it opens the seeded Menu form.
I now have to create the custom form and set Destination URI to the Custom Form.
I am also aware how to add parameters to Destination URI.
But could you let me know how to read the value from a OAF page form field and reference it in Destination URI.
I need the value of PARTY_SITE_ID of the Address OAF page.
Alternatively, the Site Number is displayed on the OAF page. If I can read it that will also do. I can use the Site Number in the custom form rather than PARTY_SITE_ID

As you know, I am using Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 for my current portal project. I have created JSR-168 JSF Portlet Project for my portlet development.
As I have some html pages ready for my development,
Can I import HTMLs from inside the project and use as portlet page for my project?
I did the followings steps:
1: In side the project - File -> Add Existing Item -> Web Page ( imported test.html page from my local folder)
2: Let it convert some of the tags for me ( so now it becomes - �test.jsp� )
3: Set it to initial view.
4. A default portlet page � newPortletPage.jsp is still there with no initial view.
Now after doing this, No Visual Designer and Properties window available to for that �test.jsp� page. Though it allowed me to �build� the project successfully.
When I build and run the portlet application, got the error message �Error occurred in portlet!� on Pluto Portal. Please advice.

You do not open fcpproject files. You don't double click or anything else. The files have to be in the correct folder structure in the Final Cut Projects folder and the application opens them automatically. Can you post screen shots of the Final Cut Projects folder and its location.

When trying to update app I get a message saying " Safari cannot open page because address is invalid" help! I use iPad 1. Thank you.

I have the iPad basic first edition. For some reason my app store app is missing. On my games when I tried to update the apps I get a message that says safari cannot open page because address is invalid, but this happens even when I click directly on the prompt message that comes up when loading game. Also, it seems that my app store app has been deleted? I don't know how to get it back. When I try to download it I get the same safari message as afore mentioned.

Swipe to seethe farthest home screen to the left. Type in App Store in the search box and see if the app may have been accidentally placed into a folder with another app.
You cannot download apps using Safari.

Acrobat X, error message "cannot delete pages, pages are in use"

Recently updated to Acrobat X. After saving a pdf, if I try to delete a page or pages, I get an error message "cannot delete pages, pages are in use". I have to close acrobat and reopen my document to continue deleting pages. Is there a fix for this? So far, I think Acrobat 7 was better that X!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What OS are you using? Ive read that preview pane in windows vista and 7 causes an issue with the delete page feature. The suggestion was generally to turn the preview feature off.

We're using SharePoint 2013 and I'm trying to modify the search results page for one site collection. By default, it uses the search results page from the parent site which is the search center being used by default for the web application. I need to make
sure that the site collection will only retrieve search results within the site collection (search everything has to be disabled). I found a way but I had to create another search center site to accomplish this, otherwise, it will affect the search center
site of all other site collections on the web app.

According to your description, you want to retrieve the search results within the site collection.
As a workaround, you can create a custom result source for the site collection and you will retrieve the search result within the site collection.

Is it possible to copy several pages minimized in one final page using hp 8600?

I've used the search bar, and found multple questions related, but none answered my problem. I want to scan multiple pages from the adf scanner and print them to a single page, minimized to 25%.
Is this possible from the printer's copy settings?

Your outgoing mail server is different than your incoming server. Usually the outgoing mail server will have smtp in it. I noticed yours said "cannot send message using the server mail.wavecable.com". That sounds like an incoming mail server. Try setting your outgoing mail server to smtp.wavecable.com

Apps can only be reinstalled for free using the same Apple ID they were originally associated with.
You need to re purchase Pages using the new Apple ID and password.

Create Project page Customization

Hi,
I need to capture the End Customer data during the project creation screen. This cannot be added using the projects Quick Entry setup.
So I am trying to customize the project creation page to capture this data.
1st option I thought:
- Extend the base CO
- After the PFR, call projects API to update the custom data in PA_PROJECT_ALL DFF
But the base PFR forwards to a processingPage (oracle.apps.pa.project.webui.ProcessingPageCO) and does the commit in the processinPage PFR. This means that I cannot code anything after the base CO's PFR, because the base CO PFR forwards to the processingPage and the control is not going to return to the base CO. And the processingPage cannot be personalized.
2nd option I thought:
This option is by extending the VO. This feels like the right option. But the base VO (oracle.apps.pa.project.server.CreateProjectVO) was created in expert mode. This means that I need to duplicate the sql query in my extended VO, which is not upgrade safe.
Any suggestions in implementing this case?

Using your 1st option:
In PFR,
First call projects API to update the custom data in PA_PROJECT_ALL DFF.
Do not commit chnages in API.
Then call super.processFormRequest() method.
As per the table name, you may need to insert some extra data in PA_PROJECT_ALL DFF. If so, why dont you create a DFF in apps and attach it using personalization. Provided your VO has attribute columns.
