Cannot Publish to You Tube (Captivate 6). Help!

I noticed this question in another spot, but the answers provided don't work for me. I'm trying to publish a project to Youtube, using Captivate 6 (most recent version-updated yesterday) on a Mac (OS 10.9.3). When I last used it (in October 2013), it worked fin. Now I get an error box and, even though I let it go through the entire loading process, the Adobe Captivate Video Publisher box is blank and no matter how long I wait, I just get the spinning beach ball. The box for creating the video is at 100%, but I can't move further. I've used this product for a number of years and am disappointed that this isn't working. I should note that all other aspects of the software (creating and saving a project, adding audio, etc.) are working just fine.
Thanks for any help--I'm in a time crunch and this isn't helping!

I am connected to Wi-Fi (verified by checking out Safari) but I keep getting an error message when I try to connect to You Tube.
It says "Cannot connect to You Tube". When that message goes away and I try playing a clip it says " Error playing movie"

yeah, i had this problem. resetting the phone to factory settings fixed the problem. just restore the phone through itunes (be sure to back up anything that might get lost in the full restore). youtube worked fine for me after this.

Cannot Publish to Word Error - Captivate 7, MAC

I'm getting this error even though I was successful before (last week was the latest). I have gotten this before and it magically went away. I have closed down my computer and restarted and also have opened up word. Help!

What other programs are running when you try to do this? I
know from experience that many clip board extenders and/or macro
programs (Classic Clipboard, MacroExpress, etc.) can cause the
print option to fail. You may want to try closing/turning off any
other programs that you have running to see if any of them are
causing the failure.

Why I cannot play embedded you tube video in safari since 28 July 2011?

When I open embedded YouTube videos, it does not. Sometimes it plays only audio with black screen. This only happened since 28 July 2011. Same problem with my iPad 1.
Hope to get a solution.

It plays fine for me as well so maybe aside from network issues you can try some standard stuff and see if any of it helps.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History,Cookies and Cache. Then restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut down. To power up, hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears. Try the video again.
Try this as well. Close Safari and all open apps. If Safari is open - you have to tap the home button before you close the apps. Double tap the home button to bring up the task bar. Tap and hold down on any app icon in the task bar until it wiggles. Then tap the minus signs in the corner of the app icons to close them all. Then restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut down. To power up, hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears. Try the video again.
You can also reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds untilt the Apple logo appears - ignore the red slider. Try the video again.

I haven't seen anything other than Jailbreaking it or recording with a camcorder. I Googled it and the only way is to Jailbreak. I wouldn't Jailbreak though.

Can interactive quiz questions be published to You Tube

I am a new content developer, and am trying to publish an elearning program to YouTube. This particular program has an interactive quiz at the end. Is there any way that a video on YouTube can maintain the interactive qualities of an elearning program? My gut tells me no, but I thought I'd check here first before going back to the client.

On Videos there is no interactivity, if you check Vidoes on Youtube, you won't find any interactivity.

TS1368 I'm trying to help my sister in law with Itunes and you tube on her ipod touch. When I press the itunes icon on the menu it says "cannot connect to the ipod store". I've updated the latest software. Any suggestions?

Similarly when I press the You Tube icon is says "Cannot connect to You Tube". I'm able to access the web through safari. Any ideas out there? Thanks.

Try going to safari and log in to Youtube.com and see what happens. You didn't say what you tried. A reset, or deleting and reinstalling the app.

Log-in to You tube within captivate

I have multiple youtube (google) accounts. However, captivate will only accept one when i attempt to publish to You Tube within Captivate. Does anyone know why this would happen? I have tried running captivate as admin and it does not work. I have tried on captivate 7 and 8 on mac and windows and still the same. Is it a You Tube setting? or something from captivate?

Thanks so much for the reply Rick but it is not that I am trying to use multiple accounts- rather I am trying to use one account that just wont be accepted by captivate. It keeps saying my log in credentials are incorrect even though they work fine when I sign directly in to YouTube. I tried a different account to test it and that account worked fine. This is unfortunate as the one that works is my personal account while the one that doesn't is my departments, which is how we deliver content to a lot of the students. So I was wondering if there were certain YouTube settings or accounts that captivate does not like?

help my you tube app for i-touch 1st generation can not connect to youtube. it was working for only my previous history and now its says it cannot connect to you tube. and other times its say error. please help.

Click on the blue arrow to the right of the network name, if IP address starts with "169." ,restart your router. It should connect properly after your router reboots in a minute or two.

Windows xp says 10.2 is installed, but you tube says still I need to install it ???

... never got information bar (activex reminder) to download 10.2.153.1 ... so I backed up and found manual download. I downloaded and installed: install_flash_player_ax.exe. I checked the properties on the downloaded file, and it says it is version 10.2.153.1. I verified correct information by checking "Add or Remove programs". I verified the version in there also.
I still cannot watch videos in you tube. Please help.

Shockwave Flash is not in the list under "Manage Addons". There are no flash players listed under "Manage Addons".
I confirmed again that it is installed: Control Panel->Addd or Remove Programs shows "Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX. clicking the support link reveals version 10.2.153.1"

Does this mean my registry is hosed?

You Tube App no longer working iPad1 Workaround loses all my saved favorites Why?

Hi everyone!
The default youtube app on my iPad1, IOS 5.1.1 stopped working about a week ago, presenting "cannot connect to You Tube " as the only Error message. No Explanation.. no choices... . It shows a sign in screen, no data can be accepted as it says it "cannot connect to You Tube".
I tried contacting You Tube by various means. Almost impossible to get through. I got a phone number. But they had overload for a week or two now, so saying call back at another time for the "You Tube" choice 3. Now it says Choice 5 for You Tube questions and a recorded message (no possibility to speak to a human) directs us to go to "You Tube" .com / support. No help there... old old connection problems solved back in 2009 and iPods, iPhones NO iPads at all... Frustrated...I left that avenue.
I went to this Help Forum called reddit (before I realized they stole your apple logo) but their answers said to try using the Internet version of You Tube to get around this problem. So I managed to get the You Tube "mobile" connection on the web to work instead.
BUT! All my saved/favorites from the iPad 1 are missing!
Instead there is a hodgepodge of various You Tubes I've views on other computer devices I've used to access the web from the same ISP, but NOT the sign in /log in for the iPad1!
How to get my old iPad login working again for all of my favorite You Tube (mostly valuable computer tutorials? Mostly they are on how to use various apps on the iPad that would take long time or "forever" to search again to get back.
How to get all my years (five!!) of saved favorite You Tubes I carry with me on the iPad back again? (I can't carry a desktop computer around, right?).
What is going on here??
Does anyone else experience this problem?
The initial question here came up empty as no one on Apple Community has asked this question before! Does that mean I'm the only one here asking about the You Tube App on the Apple Community?

From what I have been reading on other sites, the app stopoed working when the iPhone 4S was released since it includes Siri. If you look at the box on the right of this thread, you will see other threads just like this one on how the app no longer works.

Unless there's a way to do it through the YouTube app, you will not be able to do this using the Safari web browser on the iPad.

You tube not working after update 5.1.1

after updating my iphone 4s 5.1.1, my you tube is not working and says cannot connect to you tube. I already tried signing out of the itunes and singing back in. I really need help i miss my you tube.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Has any of this been tried?
