Cannot purchase apps

I live in Antigua and Barbuda. When I bought this ipad I was able to purchase apps, now I cannot purchase any apps, it is not accepting my credit card. Why?

    the Thai support site is all in Thai (and I neither read or write it).
    All I want is a single email address that works - it must be quite a simple process.
    I don't want to create another account with another credit card - life will just get seriously complicated then.
    BTW my apple I'd is accepted for downloading free apps!!!

    First of all, you should always save you photos on computer like any other digital camera.
    Backup on iCloud or iTunes only backup your Camera Roll. The other photos should be already on the computer.
    Note: Photos are not saved in iTunes, it's only a conduit between your iPhone and your photo managing software on computer.

    This is a case for the iTunes Store Support:
    1. Go to expresslane.apple.com
    2. select 'itunes' and then 'itunes store' on the right
    3. select a topic and a subject
    4. click 'continue' and then 'email'
    5. fill out the form and explain your situation
    6. they will respond within 24 hours usually

    I found an article with steps you can take when you are not able to connect to the iTunes Store.  I recommend following the steps in the section titled "Troubleshooting on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" in this article:

    I also recommend checking to see if you have In-App purchases disabled in the Restrictions on your iPad:

    I am new to the iPad world and I just purchased an iPad mini. I am having a problem purchasing APPs. I receive a message after I enter my password that says Your purchase could not be completed for assistance please contact itunes support at www.apple.com/support/itunes. I really hope that the support at apple turns out to be better then this because I am ready to switch to Samsung. Here is the response I received in an email from the Apple support center:
    With regards to your other concern, to make sure this matter is investigated thoroughly I contacted a senior advisor on your behalf. They have informed me that regrettably, we cannot resolve the issue on your account. We are unable to provide further information regarding this situation.
    So it appears I am SOL with Apple Support.

    You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
    1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)

    4. Create New Apple ID
    5. Confirm Your Country

  • Hi, I still use an iPhone 4, ever since my recent update of iOS I cannot purchase apps from the App Store, and a message keeps appearing saying that, 'this item cannot be purchased from the US store, and please switch to the Malaysia store''.

    I keep getting this message when I try to update my apps and when trying to purchase new apps from the App Store. I checked my iTunes ID and it turns out that the country shown there is the one that I am actually living in. And it is the same as my billing address, but when I tried to update my apps again, I keep getting this message, 'you are not eligible for purchase of this item from the US store, please switch to the Malaysia store'. How do I solve this issue.
    Besides ever since I updated my phone iOS it has started misbehaving, quite irritably at times. Dropped calls, slow typing, apps open very slowly, apps cannot be updated with prompts coming up like, this app cannot be updated now, please try again. I had to delete quite a few apps and reinstall them again. I had a trouble free experience with this phone till now, but is apple losing its magic.

    Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
    Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
    Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

  • Cannot purchase apps or music on iphone or ipod touch

    Hi,
    I've updated my new iphone 3gs and my wife's ipod touch to the 4.3.3 software.
    When I try and purchase or update apps from the App Store or songs from iTunes on either devices, it fails.
    With apps, the new app icon appears with the label "Waiting...", but don't continue to download. Music purchases are shown in the Downloads section on iTunes, with the label "waiting...". The devices have internet connectivity and can connect to secure websites (e.g. https://appleid.apple.com/), but interestingly are consitently unable to access some Apple websites (support.apple.com, discussions.apple.com) whereas these are accessible via a desktop computer.
    After a long time (3 minutes?), the device shows the following prompt:
    Cannot connect to iTunes Store - Retry/Cancel
    And if you select RETRY it prompts for the AppleID password.
    I can purchase items from the desktop version of iTunes, on the same wireless network, with no problems.
    Can anyone please offer some advice?

    Done a further test, and I can use the App Store and iTunes store on my iPhone if I am using a VPN connection set up on the phone.
    I've had a very similar problem before on my desktop computer - some sites being inaccessable using my regular home network and working when using a VPN from the same home network. The fix for this was to change my desktop's MTU settings..... but how can you change the MTU setting on an iPhone??

    I receive this message each time I try to purchase an app or book. "Your purchase could not be completed. For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww/. I've called Apple Support a total of 6 times and I've been on hold for a total of over 3 hours. They said they fixed it THREE times, and told me to wait 30 minutes then try again. I've talked to 2 different Senior iTunes Advisors who gave me their direct line (which means absolutely NOTHING, because when I call back they won't answer or return messages). Supposedly my issue was going to be fixed by the iTunes "engineers" last night and an email was supposed to be sent me this morning. Of course, neither happened. I'm totally disgusted with iTunes Support and need my issue resolved and have no where to turn. I'm a very patient person, but I'm at the end of my rope. Any suggestions on who to complain to, since I'm getting nowhere?

    IM having the same exact issue!! I've demanded to speak with an engineer personally or someone who knows iTunes inside and out. sr advisor made it seem like it was classified information! She kept saying "they" will fix it and you'll receive email for confirmation. I want to know who they are!! I have a $25 gift card just sitting in my account for nothing. My bank card is good too. Sorry I have no answer, just know there's people who are just as frustrated as you lol. Please reply back if you hear anything thing at all!! I'll do same! Good luck!
