Cannot re-download tracks downloaded during Unlimi...

Hi Everyone
I've been having this problem for a while now. When I try to access my download history in Nokia Music Player (Account -> Download history), more often than not I get
Sorry, but something’s gone wrong with Nokia Music
Click back in your browser and try again.
Even on those occasions that I can actually view my download history, I cannot re-download anything anymore. Either when I click on an album download link, nothing happens, or the button looks like it's going to start the download but nothing will happen.
I've tried re-installing the software, disabling firewall & antivirus, checking trusted sites in Internet options, clearing browser history etc. but nothing helps. Actually, disabling firewall & antivirus did help in the sense that I could view my download history with ease but I couldn't download anything. Also, using Internet Explorer and https://account.music.ovi.com/ I can view my download history with no problems at all, but I cannot download anything using the browser (my downloaded albums display correctly but the download button has a price tag, e.g. 9,99 €).
By the way, I'm using Windows XP Professional with all relevant updates and service packs.
Anyone else experienced something like this? Any solutions? Thought I'd write here before contacting the support because this way is probably quicker. In any case, I'll be sure to give you all an update if/when I eventually get a reply from Nokia support.

Chris explained the "categories" part. When you pick on (say Music), and then click on Purchased under Quick Links, then Songs or Albums (choose one), then if you click on "All" you should see all Songs or Albums purchased under your Apple/iTunes ID. If you click on "Not in My Library", you should see all of the items you have purchased but not yet downloaded to the computer you are doing the search on. They all have a little cloud on them that you can click to download them (or you can click on Download All to download all of them):
You can also see all of your Music, Movies, TV Shows, and Books purchases (both ones that are on the computer and ones in iTunes in the Cloud) by going to one of those categories in your library, clicking on View on the top menu, and then clicking on "Show Music (or TV Shows, etc.) in the Cloud". Items not currently in residence in your library will have a little cloud in the upper right-hand corner. Also, your library list in the sidebar will show a little cloud next to the list item if you have purchases that are not currently in the library:

In "purchases" while in my App Store, Mountain Lion says, "an error has occurred" and the green 'download' button is grey and I cannot re-start the download. I was abroad when I purchased this app and during download, my internet connection was lost. At the time, Apple was still offering the e-chat, so I did that and the man was very helpful and it was a quick fix, so my download button turned green again, and I was able to begin the download. BUT during the download, I was kicked offline once again, and I decided to wait until I was back in the USA. I will go in to an Apple store and ask assistance, but if there is something I am missing, I'd like to try that first. Thanks in advance for any advice.

  • How come some previously downloaded tracks wont play in itunes 11.1.3, and there is no option to download again

How come some previously downloaded tracks wont play in itunes 11.1.3 and there is no option to download again?

    Hey KMK14,
I understand you are having issues with a few tracks in iTunes. The best troubleshooting step may be to delete the song from your library, and re-download using iTunes in the Cloud (if available in your country).
For more information, see the following:
Songs in iTunes may not play back completely
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4357
    Symptoms
Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.
    Resolution
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
    1. Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
    2. Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
    3. Download your previously purchased song from this list.
Note: iTunes in the Cloud, which allows you to download previously purchased songs from the iTunes Store, is not available in every country. Learn if iTunes in the Cloud is offered in your country.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Cannot preview filetype please download the file for viewing and garbled text on a downloaded image

    Dear Madam or Sir,
When I click on a file titled "Subject Access Request Letter re Account Number 12527629 Sort Code 60-10-34 24022015.pdf", which is stored in my Account on Acrobat.com I get the response "Cannot preview filetype please download the file for viewing". This file was created from an OpenOffice .odt document of the same title. Please advise.
I downloaded an image, which purports to be a .pdf, from the Royal Mail Track & Trace web facility using my Samsung S5. The text that I expect to see might as well be hieroglyphics for all its similarity to text. Please advise.
    Regards,
    Ron Platt
PS I have tried to attach both files (.pdf) but am advised "That image type is forbidden". Please advise.

    Hi Laura,
I have found the solution to be:
       1. Not to upload to "Document Cloud" from the .pdf stored on my PC and
       open on screen.
       2. To login to Acrobat.com from the .pdf stored on my PC and open on
screen, select "Document Cloud" and the sub-folder required and then upload
       the file
I have a feeling that there is a glitch somewhere, because after I have
opened a number of .pdf files stored on my PC, and irrespective of whether
I have closed them prior to opening the next .pdf file or left them open,
Acrobat Reader will display (Not responding) in the window title bar. The
"number of files" equates to less than 10. I, then, click on the X at the
right of the window title bar and I am given the option of "Close the
program" or "Wait until the program responds" (or words to that effect). If
i choose the latter, nothing happens and I am back at the unhappy status
quo. If I choose the former, I am told that Windows is searching for a
solution, which it never finds. I, then, have to shut down the PC and then
start it up, again. Clicking "Restart" does not solve the problem.
I have described the above before and received the usual "it cannot be
Acrobat, it is perfect" response. I could, I suppose, screenshot/snip every
sequential screen but why should I have to when I have described the
sequence as fully as I can. So I have found a "workaround" that does not
solve the "Not responding" problem but does solve the problem of not being
able to upload from the open .pdf file to the sub-folder in "Document
Cloud". I am, on occasion, working through the myriad of .pdf files that
are in the root folder of "Document Cloud" and putting them in the correct
    sub-folder(s).
I have today read that Google is starting a cellphone service in the USA in
which a monthly "access" rental (US$20) is paid plus a GB capacity usage is
elected for at a rate specified, e.g. US$10.00/GB. If the subscriber  does
not use the elected GB capacity Google refunds the US$value of the unused
    elected GB capacity.
Suggestion: Adobe applies that kind of policy to its online software
package usage rates, e.g. I elect to subscribe to a particular level of
online software package usage monthly, but, if I do not use all of the
programs included in that online software usage package, I am credited back
for not having used the softwares, that I did not use, that were inclusive
in that online software package offer.

    Ron

  • ITunes Match doesn't download to phone during song play anymore?

    Hi,
I have noticed massive data usage on my mobile contract recently and have narrowed it down to iTunes.
I have match and I use the phone in my car to listen to music.  I have allot of music but normally would listen to the same album a few times in a row while heading back and forth to work and the way the system used to work was to download the album onto the phone during the first playback.. That meant that subsequent playbacks of that album would not use up my data allowance as it was saved to the phone.
I used to allow this to build up and then once the phone was nearly full, delete off some of the music and allow it to build up again.
However, now there is no downloading, just constant streaming no matter how often the same song/album is repeated.  Is there any way to set it up like it was?
    Cheers
    Dave

First trouble shooting step is to always simply quit iTunes, wait a few seconds, then launch it again and try to download the tracks again. If that doesn't work, then stop iTunes Match while holding down the Option key and quit iTunes. Wait a few seconds then relaunch it and start iTM. After adding the computer and letting the scan complete you ought to be able to download the tracks.
Once you get the tracks downloaded immediately purchase an external HDD that is 2 to 3 times the size of the internal HDD of the computer and start using the backup software of your choice to backup all your personal data. iTunes Match is not a backup service. You are responsible for making backups of your data.

  • I have a 1st gen iPod Touch and have purchased the ios 3.1, but cannot get it to download from the store to the iPod? On iTunes, it says that I have the current version of 2.1  Help!

I have purchased the ios 3.1 update for my 1st generation iPod Touch, but cannot get it to download.  When I check the summary on iTunes, it says that I have the most up-to-date version of 2.1.  I really need to update to 3.1 to download some games for my son.  I have an iPad and do not want to purchase a new iPod if I  can get some games on the current one.
    Thanks in advance!

So you are saying that you purchased it by:
Purchasing iOS 3.1 Software Update for iPod touch (1st generation)
Is iTunes signed into the same iTunes account that purchased it?
How long ago did you purchase it?
Did you purchase it on another computer?

  • Cannot check for available downloads nor download media from iTunes store.

Here's what I can do: 1) I can access the internet. 2) I can access and purchase media from the iTunes store. 3) I can stream radio through iTunes. 4) I can download podcasts.
Here's what I can't do: 1) I cannot check for available downloads. 2) I cannot download purchased media. I receive the following message in a pop up window. "Unable to Check for Available Downloads. The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
I have tried all of the following troubleshooting guides recommended by iTunes support without success:

I have also removed my router out of the equation and connected directly to my cable modem so port forwarding is not an issue either. The only idea I have left is to call my ISP. Seems like a long shot. I know it is going to be something obvious.

I just realized that I posted this in the wrong forum. If you are an administrator and want to move it, please feel free. Sorry.

I cannot get sound on downloaded apps.  I do get sound from music download..

    Hello Michelle,
I would be concerned too if the speaker on my iPhone was not working.  I found an article with some steps to take when you are experiencing issues like this.
I recommend reviewing the full article, but step 2 specifically stood out to me for the issue you are experiencing:
    2. Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is not switched to silent.
iPhone: Can't hear through the receiver or speaker

  • Need helping tracking downloads

    Hi everyone!
First off I'm a complete noobie when it comes to podcasting... I've had a podcast for over a year, however, I do not know anything about coding. I use a 3rd party app called Feeder to help me with my feeds.
I have a podcast in iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/aural-pleasures/id398501156) but originally started off with people subscribing via my website (http://www.auralpleasuresmusic.com). The website was linked to FeedBurner (took me a long time to get that to work, but I somehow did over a year ago... March 2009 to be exact). The FeedBurner link is itpc://feeds.feedburner.com/auralpleasurespodcast. The actual feeds to the podcast are http://idisk.me.com/keith_bowden/Public/AuralPleasures.xml (main feed) and http://idisk.me.com/keith_bowden/Public/KeithsPodcast.xml (which re-directs to the AuralPleasures.xml).
FeedBurner has allowed me to track downloads via people that clicked on the link on my website, but now I have no idea how to track download statistics from people that are subscribing via iTunes Music Store. Can someone please help me with that part?
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! I hope I'm explaining myself properly and sharing the correct info you need to help... if I'm not, please tell me what other information you need and I'll post ASAP.
    Cheers,
    Keith

iTunes is using your feed at
    http://idisk.me.com/keith_bowden/Public/AuralPleasures.xml
The other feed contains the redirect tag and if it's more than about two weeks since you placed it there you can remove this feed as no longer necessary (the extra delay is for the benefit of subscribers, to redirect their own iTunes applications).
iTunes does not provide any sort of statistics. Whether it's possible to get the statistics from your server depends on whether it can offer the required facilities. This Apple Tech note briefly explains a method of doing this, and I'm afraid that as it's outside my experience I can't comment further on it.
Feedburner may be able to provide statistics, though you would need to confirm this with them before proceeding. You would need to submit your feed to them; they would then make their own version of it (adding quite a lot of muck in the process, most of which shouldn't be a problem as iTunes will ignore it). You would then need to go through the redirect process again to redirect iTunes to the Feedburner feed.
You should be aware that in doing this you lose control of your feed, and it's entirely possibly that should you ever want to redirect iTunes away from the Feedburner version you won't be able to.

  • Cannot Install Lens Profile Downloader

I'm trying to get user created profiles for my Sony cameras and lenses, as LR doesn't have very many built in.
I need to install the profile downloader, which downloads as a ".air" file. I've uninstalled Adobe Air and reinstalled the latest version but when I try to install the "Adobe_Lens_Profile_Downloader_1_0_1.air" file I get the message:
    "Sorry, an error has occurred.

    Any ideas?
    I'm running a Mac on OX 10.7.5
    Thanks,

I saw that uninstalling the previous version (1.0) worked for others, but it has not worked for me. When I try to install version 1.0.1 I get the following error message:
    Sorry, an error has occurred.
This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance.
I first installed the latest version of Adobe Air (v3.5). I then tried three different approaches to uninstall ALPD 1.0. First I dragged ALPD 1.0 to the Trash, rebooted the Mac, and then tried to install ALPD 1.0.1. Got the error message above.
I reinstalled ALPD 1.0 from a backup disk, ran it to make sure it was working, then used AppZapper to delete the application, its cache, and its preferences. I rebooted the Mac, and then tried to install ALPD 1.0.1. Got the error message above.
I reinstalled ALPD 1.0 from a backup disk, ran it to make sure it was working, then used AppDelete to delete the application, its cache, and its preferences. I rebooted the Mac, and then tried to install ALPD 1.0.1. Got the error message above.
