Cannot Read Attachments in Email

I have had my iPhone since December. I use my iphone for my work e-mail which is a Microsoft exchange server that I use Synchronica. At first I was able to read attachments, but no longer. Has anyone had any issues not being able to read attachments. Nor is there anything to indicate that there is an attachment in this email.

    what setting shoude do?

Did you get the Yahoo login page but then it was blank after you logged in?
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    1. Clear Firefox's Cache
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"
    2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

My Windows friends cannot read attachments from my e-mails

If the attachments are common files that your recipients should be able to read (PDF, DOC, TXT) then what is the setting when you select the menu command Edit > Attachments > Always Send Windows-Friendly Attachments (checked or unchecked).
If it's unchecked you should check that setting and retry.

  • TS3988 Cannot download attachments in emails

I did a hard reset on my iPhone just recently. I went through and set up my iCloud items.  When I go to download attachments from emails I get the following message: "The connection to the server failed".  Any thoughts or ideas on how to fix this problem?  Thanks.

WHat attachments? What "Adobe"? What did you do? You need to explain better and provide the necessary technical information.

  • TS2621 I cannot read my old emails if my iPad is offline why?I used to be able to before.

I cannot access old emails on my iPad when it is offline.I used to be able to access them before, why can't I now?

Your MacBook Pro would be able to run Lion (which is required for iCloud).  It's a $29.99 (US) upgrade in the Mac App store.  Otherwise you can check your process for importing to iPhoto against this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.  A third option is to transfer you photos to your computer wirelessly using an app like PhotoSync.

  • Cannot add attachments to email

When composing an email in iCloud, I click on the paperclip, the popup box comes open, and I can click the document/file I wish to attach. It cycles through as normal, however the attachment never shows up on the email.

  • Cannot put attachments on email

Over the past few days, every time I have tried to attach something to an email, I get the notice "We are still getting set up."  As far as I know, I am using the most updated version of Windows Explorer.

    Hi,
Please first try to clear the browser cache/cookies to check if it will fix the problem.
Seems this is not an issue happened in Outlook.com, not the Outlook client, right? If so, the question is better to be posted to the Outlook.com forum:

  • How come i cannot read texts in email once i open them?

When i have read emails from either the desktop or an iPad, I can not longer read the body of the same email using an iPhone 4S.  How do I read emails in multiple devices?
    Thank you!

As far as I know, TextEdit does not have user definable margins. At least not that you can easily define.
Here's a workaround you might try:

You might also take a look at Bean. It's a free word processor that among other things allows you to set margins.

  • Just upgraded iPhone 3GS to 6.1.3.  Now can see list of emails, but cannot read contents of emails.

After upgrading my phone from 5.1.1 to 6.1.3: In the Mail app, I can see a list of all of my emails but when I open up an email it does not show the contents of the email, it only shows the From/To/Subject.
Do I need to reconfigure my email connections?   This is happening with all emails (hotmail, gmail, and aol).

    Hi rearl306,
If you are having issues viewing the body of emails in Mail on your iPhone, you may find the following article helpful (it's aimed at previous versions of iOS, but may still apply to your issue):

  • Mavericks: cannot decrypt S/MIME email

Mavericks 10.9.4 on MacBook Air, using latest Apple Mail v7.3 (1878.6).
I can send and receive (verify) signed S/MIME email, and send encrypted S/MIME email.
Problem: I cannot read received encrypted email, even email that I myself send to my own address (and for which I obviously have all the appropriate keys). Encrypted email arrives as if it wasn't secured at all, and its only content is attached file "smime.p7m".
I have my own CA, which issued certificates for a few of my email accounts. However this problem manifests itself also on accounts whose keys are certified by my school.
This email and these certificates worked with Mountain Lion...
I'd appreciate any help, and would be happy to provide any info that might help finding a solution to this problem.
    Thanks!
Here's an excerpt from the headers from one of the encrypted messages:
    Content-Type: application/pkcs7-mime; name=smime.p7m; smime-type=enveloped-data
    Mime-Version: 1.0 (Mac OS X Mail 7.3 \(1878.6\))
    Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=smime.p7m
    In-Reply-To: <[email protected]>
    Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
    Message-Id: <[email protected]>
    References: <[email protected]>
    X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.1878.6)
    X-Score-Level: *** 3.124

    Added message headers.

First, the address associated with the S/MIME public key must exactly match the address to which you're trying to send the encrypted message. The matching is case-sensitive: "[email protected]" does not match "[email protected]".
The recipient's certificate must be valid: not self-signed, expired, or revoked. You can check the status of the certificate in Keychain Access (see below.)
If you can't encrypt messages to a valid address with a valid certificate, continue.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
              Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ First Aid
If the box labeled Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
Select Keychain from the menu bar and repair the keychain.
Quit and relaunch Mail. Test. If the problem isn't resolved, continue.
Export all S/MIME certificates, delete them from the keychain, and reimport. For instructions, select
              Help ▹ Keychain Access Help
from the menu bar and search for the term "export" in the help window. Export each certificate as an individual file; don't combine them into one big file.
Test again. If the test fails, delete all the certificates again, then reinstall them from fresh copies.

  • TS3276 Someone who receives my mail sent from Apple Mail cannot receive attachments or read my email even though they are on a Mac using Safari.  How could they be using Safari to receive or read my mail?

Someone who receives my mail sent from Apple Mail cannot receive attachments or read my email even though they are on a Mac using Safari.  How could they be using Safari to receive or read my mail?

You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink.  This person receiving my email,  while on a Mac with Safari is reading their mail through Safari using Horde--our recent discovery.  Why they chose to do that in unclear. The last email we sent, however, was miraculously read and received and  the attachment was viewed with no problem after we told them our mail was coming from a Mac thriugh Apple Mail.  It seems that telling them that our emails were coming from a Mac and using Apple Mail was enough to make them think that perhaps THEY were doing something not quite right. Thank you both, Level 7 and Level 5.
But thank you especially for the meteorologists in the UK for putting forth the correct routes for Sandy these last days, you probably saved a lot of lives.

  • Cannot open PDF attachments in email, get administrator logon using Acrobat X?

Cannot open PDF attachments in email, get administrator logon using Acrobat X?

I have no problem opening PDF attachments that arrive in my Outlook 2003 Inbox; they open fine with Adobe Reader 9. It may be an issue with your email client.
But if you think that Adobe Reader 8 will fix it, you can download it from http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/8.x/8.1.3/enu/AdbeRdr813_en_US.exe - make sure that you uninstall Reader 9 first (and Acrobat.com & Adobe AIR).
