Cannot read my kindle book on imac only on ipad . How can I save my kindle book to a document's folder (as well)
When I click my ipad(2nd gen) icon in iTunes it shows movies & music , no book . Have only downloaded the one item after install. Kindle app . I would like to read it on the iMac & is it possible to keep a copy in my Documents folder ? Thanks

If you share the same Apple ID she can download it again on her iPad in the Past Purchases Tab of the iBooks Store, just find the book in the purchased section and download it again.
If she doesn't use the same ID, you cannot share the book. -

how can i save some photo..You are checking the Camera Roll or Saved Photos album in the Photos app ? If so then you could try a reset to see if that fixes it : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I would suggest you to uninstall Adobe Reader using the cleaner tool and then re-install the latest version.

What you posted looks like the iTunes Library.xml file I will let you read about how iTunes works but not only is the .xml not your main library it is just the listing of tracks in your library and where the music files should be located. Your music is actually in media files (by the way, it is pointless to zip those as they are already compressed). Anyway, read these and you will see that your true library file (iTunes Library.itl) is only a small, but still important, part of a complete library.

As you can see, a library has several components, so "getting it back" depends upon what is missing, what it was you actually backed up in the end, if any of this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, etc. -
When I try to save an image under the command 'save as' it will only let me save as file types 'firefox document' or 'all files' and when I try to look at them later they dont work. How can I save an image as the same file type it is on the web site?!

First, the app must be universal...designed for both iPhone/iPad:
Tap App Store.
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Tap Updates.
Tap Purchased on the resulting screen.
Locate the app in your Purchased tab.
Tap the download icon.
The app will begin downloading and you'll be taken back to your home screen. -

How do I change the color of font in a fillable form in Adobe Reader? How can I check if the writer of the document has given permission to edit color and not just add text? Please help! I'm technologically challenged.
Most forms (99% or more) are created for simple text input, where you cannot change anything.
The creator of the form could allow Rich Text input (which allows you to change font, text size, color, etc.), but frankly I have never seen such a form, and I wouldn't know how they look. But I'm sure they would show some kind of controls to alter the text appearance. -

It's much easier for mailing to people where page address not available?? (as in output from an airline booking site, for example)
It is simply too painful to have to zip everything up into a single file to send. MHT format has been available for years now from IE, and with every new FF release it's the first thing I look for. I have been using FF for years, and hate having to come out of it, over into IE |(which I even took out of startup) and key everything in again, in order to send somebody something in a convenient format that they can open with a single click.
I can't believe this hasn't been asked before, so have you looked at it and rejected it? Have MS kept the file format secret?

MGThis is not really an answer just my comments on your question.
I am sure I recollect efforts being made to get mhtml to work with FF.
Probably the important thing to remember about .mhtml is that if other browsers do support it they may need addons, and may not necessarily render the content correctly/consistently.
There are FF addons designed for archiving webpages, you could try them, but that then assumes the recipient has the same software.
You could simply save the page from FF to your XP pc; then offline open it with and save it using IE, before then emailing using FF, and attaching the .mht or mhtml file that you have now created on your PC.
As an alternative method, in some cases it could be worth considering taking a screen grab of the required page, then sending that to the recipient as a single email attatchment using either a bitmap or jpeg file format for instance.
Something such as an airline booking may be designed with a print option, possibly it could be worthwile looking at sending the print file itself as an email attachment. -
I have a Macbook pro 10.9.1 that will not communicate with my WD external hard drive. Whenever I connect the drive, this pops up:

I have important photos and videos on here of my family and can't lose them. I tried downloading multiple third party applications like Tuxera and NFTS 3G but they're only trials. How can I permanently set up my mac to read and write without risking to lose all my stuff on the external hard drive. Thanks in advance for any support.babowa, it seems like it is using Fuse & NTFS, so I don't think it's the classic WD + 10.9 mess, but extra WD tools & drivers can still break things MtTran.
MrTran, if you must use unsupported disk formats on your Mac you must also consider actually paying the developers that made the trial software.
It's probably a good idea to follow the developers removal instructions, reboot & then install one tool at a time.
MacFuse, FuseOSX, NTFS-3G are all likley to confict if you run older versions so you need to be sure you are using the latest version. I can't remeber which one depends on the other, so you will need to read the manuals.
When the disk is readable copy the data to another disk. You could probably do this from a Linux distro or Windows if OS X won't do it.
If you insist on only using the trial versions you will need to reinstall Mac OS, copy data off this disk & reformat it.
Is there any good reason for not using the Mac HFS extended format?
