Cannot reboot iPad mini

Dear Apple Support Community,
I would like to sincerely apologize for an earlier comment I made regarding my Apple product. In no way was it directed towards the Support Team, Community or the volunteers who dedicate themselves to assist those in need. I have had so many issues with computers over the years which ultimately led to the purchase of new computers every other year despite having virus protection, etc. In lieu of that, I decided to finally purchase my first Apple product, the iPad mini and was proud to own such a reputable product. I never experienced any problems with it nor did I ever have any difficulty with the Apple upgrades until this morning when it started to download the new iOS upgrade. I cannot access anything, not even the slider button to shut it down. I've tried rebooting it a few times, but to no avail. The only image that's viewable is the Apple logo which appears briefly then it immediately shows another picture of a white cord, a little arrow, then the symbol of iTunes. It won't respond to anything. I hooked it up to my laptop, downloaded iTunes and a little box states that I cannot access iTunes until my iPad is restored.
I don't know if this has ever happened to anyone before, but I would greatly appreciate any help or guidance regarding this issue. Again, I am sorry if my earlier post offended anyone, that was definitely not my intention.

The screen that is displaying (USB cord and iTunes logo) means that the device is in Recovery mode. You are going to have to follow the instructions in this link to reset it to Factory Settings, and then you can Restore it from a backup in iCloud or iTunes (hoping you have one):
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings
Since you are already in Recovery mode, you will need to follow the instructions under "Restore your iOS Device".

Thanks for the support but I had already tried this . Again did it as you advised. Still not able to connect the ipad mini with Bluetooth.
Could it be that some app is causing issue. I can connect my car and computer over Bluetooth but not ipad mini.
On the other had ipad is connecting to other iPhone but only not mine.
Still showing ipad not supported message. And also shows not paired.
Please help.

Cannot restore ipad mini. Not enough room

I had an ipad mini model A1432 (16gb) that had a cracked screen. I bought a second ipad mini (open box but seemed unused), same A1432 model and tried to do a restore so that it could be used while I fixed the first unit. Both have OS 7.04. Itunes is telling me it cannot do the restore becuase there is not enough memory on the new ipad. The old ipad backup was under 14.5GB so what gives? It does not tell me there is a problem with the new ipad and I have confirmed the models on the back of the ipads.
I tried doing a fresh install of the OS (restore iPad) in the hopes that if there was any legacy files from the previous owner who must have gotten it for christmas, would be wiped out.

Further to my question.
I am able to do a restore. Takes 15 or more minutes and reboots but then I get the same response when I try to restore what should be a 14.5GB backup. Everything appears to restore properly so I should expect that I would easily have enough room to do the "Restore from this backup:"
Do I have to initialise something or do some steps first? it seems to want me to setup my wifi and other details but I should be able to do the backup as that is what it is for.
The exact wording of the error:
"iTunes could not restore the ipad "Nichole's iPad" becasue not enough free space is available on the iPad."
I only have the option of saying "OK"

I backup my ipad mini while have ios 6.1.3, and now i bought new ipad mini and need to restore that backup to it but it have ios 6.0 and i'm not able to restore lack of ios maybe..
Any one have any idea, and if i update my new ipad mini with ios 7 will i be able to restore from ios 6.1.3 backup??

Correct. You cannot Restore to a lesser version ( iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 6 )

Ipad screen is frozen in movie App. Cannot turn app off. Cannot turn ipad mini off

Screen on Ipad mini is frozen. I was watching a movie in PlayerXtreme. Screen suddenly froze and that frame is frozen on screen. Cannot turn app off. Cannot turn ipad off. Waiting for battery to run out. Any suggestions??

Hi. My first question here. I have an imac and mac air both synched together, synching calendars and contacts from each other and even from my Google nexus 5 phone. New ipad mini 2 running 8.1.2 won't synch. Help please. Thanks

TThanks for taking the time to reply. I still have the problem. Both my Mac air and iMac havevthe latest version of Yosemite and my iPad mini has the latest operating system. The iPad and Mac air synch notes via iCloud but the when I try to turn notes on in iCloud system preferences on my iMac it waits a couple of minutes and then says unable to do this please try later. It's very frustrating because I use notes regularly. Do you (or any other kind people) have any other ideas? Thanks again.

ITunes cannot detect iPad Mini with Retina after update to Version 11.1.4.62

I am using Windows 8.1.
Just updated my iTunes to 11.1.4.62.
After update, iTunes will not recognize my iPad Mini with Retina (but it shows up on My Computer in Windows Explorer).
I tried the Run Diagnostic and did the suggested solutions.
Still did not work.

Cannot charge ipad mini with Lightning cable

I ordered the ipad mini LTE from Apple store. The lightning cable is not working with the supplied wall AC adaptor nor my Mac. What shall I do?

Cannot prepare iPad Mini iOS 8

Apple Configurator is v1.6. If do not select a backup to restore during preparation then without fail the device will freeze on the Apple ID screen on the iPad. Reboot leaves it stuck on the Apple logo. If I do select a backup to restore (latest being a 7.1.2) it will reboot itself and be stuck on the Apple logo. This is extremely frustrating as no literature was provided proactively beforehand, and we cannot stay with 7.1.2. The process was working flawlessly up to 7.1.2 and v1.5. Now if I try and prepare an iPad I have to restore via iTunes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot connect ipad mini 2 to TP link extender

The extender is syncd with PC with sky broadband and boosts signal around house (works well) but Ipad cannot connect to TP link and defaults to the PC Router and does not recognise TP link

I feel you should become more specific in what you like to do with the HDD / HDD contents.
Do you like to use iTunes on the iPad to access media files on the HDD?
Do you want to use another media player (like VLC) to access media files? DLNA?
Do you want o share data files through the HDD?
I assume you already connected the HDD to the USB port of your wireless router and enabled sharing for the HDD (most routers allow to enable DLNA or other NAS functions for USB attached HDDs)?

Cannot get Ipad MINI to work PLEASE HELP BADLY

So basically.
Mail and Safari would open and close automatticly so I went to do a back up restore from YESTERDAY.
No difference.
So I do a factory reset but I can't. WHY NOT? Because the 2 cords I have now do NOT WORK AFTER THE RESTORATION.
They don't work in the charger either and I have barley ANY battery health left.
So I look up what else to do?
Use the stupid find my iphone app to wipe it and I did.
IT is stuck at the spinning wheel forever, I even reset it and did it again and it has been going for liek 30 minutes at the spinning wheel and last time I looked at it like an hour ago it had 16% health left. It IS plugged in just in case some miracle happens but yeah.

If your device is restored with iTunes and it still couldn't, try to restore on another computer. If that doesn't work, then your iPad most definitely will need service. Reinstall iTunes on your computer and see if that helps. If you are doing Erase all Contents and Settings (same thing as erasing on iCloud) and are stuck on the spinning wheel, it is a side effect of jailbroken. So is Safari and Mail crashing on startup. Anyways if you aren't Jailbroken and I was wrong, then I apologize. Try to buy another another cable or borrow a friends. If your computer does not restore still, then try another computer. If that computer does not work, then most likely your iPad will need service.

During the last three steps the Apple logo appears on the screen with a rotating timer and a white progress bar. The Windows Sound when USB devices are installed/removed is heard several times, before the screen goes blank then the Unknown Error (9) message appears, and the screen reverts to the ‘Connect to PC’ screen

Particularly:
Configure your security software
Related errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, or 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.
Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
