I am totally frustrated with Thunderbird. All I want to do is send and receive email, but I always run into problems. This time I cannot send or receive emails because the password is incorrect. has your provider webmail? Try the passwort there. Maybe you have been locked out because you entered the wrong password too many times.
Maybe you are using the wrong username.
check if your e-mail provider has a step by step manual on how to setup an account with Thunderbird. -

You used the data. Verizon can not see what it was sued for. However your phone can see whats apps used the data. go to settings-data usage- there will be a place that says data usage cycle. line the dates up with your cycle. then there will be a bar graph below that extend bother white bars one all the way to the left and one all the way to the right. after those are extended below that will be a list of apps, there should be one that used over 2 gb and that will show you what app used that data in her purse

Also, try deleting the account, then do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe........

le to sync any music from I tunes. The problem started when I could not download new music because for some reason I moved the location of the music. At least the e/m says I did. I don't remember doing that. I decided to reformat my I pod and now I can sync my old music either, manually or automatically. I also notice that the iphone goes from saying "sync in progress" to back to the home screen with the icons. And then I get the message "could not sync phone - device not connected"
I am getting seriously frustrated. The Apple tech support people have been ZERO help. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes twice. I have even gone so far as doing a CLEAN install of OS X on my IMAC. Now I have the smae problems as before. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be? -
Cannot receive mail; keychain password problem
I recently bought a MacBook Air. While at the Apple Store making this purchase the Genius who sold it to me had to have me change my login password. He also advised that I upgrade the OS on my iMac desktop at home. Which I did. I do not use Keychain and told him that I did not want to.
Now I have a Mail problem. I can send and receive email fine within my own (administrator's) account. But my husband cannot receive mail in his Mail account. It is not an ISP problem because he can see his new mail on their webmail site.
When he opens his Mail app, it tells him that "Mail wants to use the 'login' keychain. He puts in his login password and every other password he can think of, but it will not recognize any of them.Then it says that "Mail can't connect to the accout "(ISPname)." He enters his ISP email password, and then it asks for the keychain password again.
The Connection Doctor says that "Trying to log into this SMTP account failed. Verify that the username and password are correct." The username and password are correct; we never changed them. Now I'm stuck.
I really think this is connected to the OS upgrade. Can anyone help?Everybody uses KeyChain. You can't 'opt out' of it, it's simply the way Mac OS X keeps track of who and what is allowed to do this or that, including Mail. The 'Genius' should have explained that to you....
Not to worry. Here's the trick.
1. Click on the Spotlight (magnifying glass) in the top right corner of your screen.
2. Type 'Keychain' in the search bar and press 'return'.
3. In the 'Keychain' window that opens up, search for 'mail' in the filter bar.
4. Click on and delete all entries that start with 'imap...' and 'smtp...'.
5. Open Mail.app and choose Mail > Preferences... | Accounts | Account Information
6. For each of your mail accounts in the left panel, clear the field under 'Password' and re-enter the correct password. After doing this for one account, click any of the tabs above (e.g., 'General') which will force a dialogue box asking you to save the changes. Confirm that you want to save the changes.
Repeat step 5 and 6 for all your different email accounts. -
Fairly new to mac, and today my charter email account keeps asking me for password which was working fine last night when I went to bed. Now today it states that it is not the correct password and I cannot get my mail? What should I do here?

Welcome to the Nokia forum and thank you for your post.
Please go to your email settings in your phone and make sure that the POP3 settings are configured correctly. Use a search engine to find the correct configuration for your email server.
If the email configuration is correct and you're unable to receive emails, please contact your local Care line and ask them to check your Nokia Messaging account.
Every email account you set up on your phone is linked to your own Nokia Messaging account. Your Care line will be able to check the account and assist you with any issues you're having in case the above hasn't resolved the problem. All you need is your IMEI, which you can find by entering *#06# into your phone.

I have 3 mail accounts in apple mail. One of them has had the spinning ball going for several days and I cannot receive mail in this account or delete messages etc. For some reason, I CAN send mail on Apple mail using this account, although it takes several minutes. I can receive mail in this account on my iPad and by signing into aol on safari and internet explorer on my office PC. It's obviously a glitch in Apple's Mail. I've deleted this account and reopened it in Mail on my Mac Pro with no difference. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, this E amil account is major to my business.

sounds like a corrupt database or index
the glitch is your home folder and mail folder, esp look at syncservices

After having created an apple ID with Italian itunes I moved to UK and I mistakenly created a new Apple ID. However, when I want to update the application on my Ipad and mac computer I am asked fo the old password which I have fogotten. I have also forgotten the answers to the security questions. I made a mistake also with the email i gave and so i cant verify a new password that i want to create. How can you help me?
Normally you need to call Apple Care for the country where the ID is located. You have changed countries and complicated it by making a new ID. I don't know what to suggest beyond calling Apple Care for Italy and asking them to help you recover the old ID.

Apps can only be updated using the same Apple ID and password they were originally purchased with.

When you go to Settings > WiFi and see your network name does it have a padlock icon to the right of the network name? If so it is a secured network with a password.
How did you connect to your network from the iPad? From Settings > Wifi? Was a network password requested? Was it accepted?
If you touch the ">" to the right of your network name what do you see for IP Address, Subnet Mask, Router, and DNS? -
