Cannot Receive Non-iMessages In Group Message

Okay,
To start, I have T-Mobile, iPhone 5S running iOS 8.1, but this has been a problem for longer than just the iOS 8 update.
I can send and receive texts, pictures, anything, from both iMessages and SMS on their own.
But when I am in a group text with people who do not have iPhones, I do not get any of their messages. Other people with iPhones in the group text get the messages fine, but I am stuck wondering.
Anybody else had this problem? Does anybody have a solution?

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are having trouble with SMS messages from non iPhone users. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
To resolve issues sending and receiving SMS, follow these steps
Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
Make sure that you have a cellular network signal in the status bar of your iPhone. If there's no signal, learn more about troubleshooting no service.
Restart your iPhone.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
Remove your SIM card and insert it again.
If you still can't send or receive SMS, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact who's trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that you're using the area code with the contact's phone number. When sending messages internationally, you also need to use the contact's international code.
If you're using a "Pay as you go" SMS plan, make sure it has enough available balance. Contact your carrier if you're unsure of your SMS plan or the available balance.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact from the Contacts app. Send a new message to the contact.
Back up and restore your iPhone as new.
If your carrier has recently ported your phone number, the porting process might not be complete. Contact your carrier to confirm that the porting process is complete.
Contact your carrier to confirm that you're provisioned for sending SMS and are in an area with cellular coverage.
Contact your carrier to verify there are no blocks or filters placed on your wireless account preventing you from sending SMS.

I'm having a problem is SAP B1.
I don't know how but a client manage to set 4 fields from List of Item as a group as you can see by this image.
The problem is that when we try the uncheck the fields we receive the message "You cannot select more than 3 groups [Message 1030-3]", even when we uncheck all fields or even when we try to restore defaults. The version of SAP is 9.0 PL00. Could you help me please? Thank you very much.

HT3529 IMessage and Group Message question

with iphone 4S if I turn off iMessage and group message and someone sends a message to me and other people, will my reply "reply all" to everyone the message was sent to? Or is it only that when I send to multiple people their responses are only sent to me?

You can send a message to multiple recipients using SMS, MMS, and iMessage.
Group messaging allows you to send messages to multiple people and have any responses delivered to everyone in the group. Group messaging works with iMessage and MMS.
If you send a message to multiple recipients without group messaging in use by the sender and all recipients, an individual message will go to each recipient using either SMS or MMS. Responses to these messages will be delivered only to the original sender in seperate messaging threads.

Cannot send texts in a group message.

My son's 4S does not allow him to reply to texts in a specific text message group. It gives him the message "Not Delivered" when he tries. He needs to be able to participate in this group and we cannot figure out where the problem lies. He is able to participate in other groups so not sure why this one is causing problems. Any advice would be appreciated!

Does he have a text messaging plan from the carrier? Do you have MMS activated? Do you have cellular data turned on? Do you have Group messages turned on? If any of the members of the group are non-iPhone users, then the message becomes an SMS/MMS, and you have to have to have a SMS/MMS texting plan for your device. Check his plan with the carrier.

Cannot send non-iMessage messages on iPad with ios5

Using an iPad2 with ios5 and trying to send messages without using iMessage. Here's the sequence of events:
1. In Settings under Messages turn iMessage off
2. In Messages app, the first screen that shows up tells me I need to login to Apple to activate iMessages. Once I login the messages setting is now set to iMessages again.
There is no discernible way to use Messages without using iMessages. Am I missing something or is this another "***, Apple?" moment?

I understand, if they do not have iMessage the send button should be green and it will send to them as an SMS. If there is an issue and it is blue for some reason then hold the button down it will turn green and send it as a text message.
Sorry, forgot where I was. The iPad only uses iMessage in the texting app, it is the iPhone where my suggestion will work. If you want to text message someone you will need to look for an app to do so.

Sending/receiving non-iMessage Texts?

Here's my problem:
I can send and receive texts to anyone using iMessage perfectly. If I send a text (comes up as Text Message in the entry bar, not iMessage) to anyone else not on an iphone, or on an iphone, but not on os 5.0.1, they don't get what I sent, and I don't get what they sent at all.
I've tried shutting off (and turning on) 3G and Cellular data, rebooting, restoring, and nothing has worked so far. Suggestions?

Talk to your carrier. Sounds like your account is not provisioned correctly for SMS messaging.

I cannot receive any iMessages using my phonenumber and it wont let me choose it as an option, then i restarted my phone and it says I have no service.

A few days ago I reset my apple Id password. After that, my phone has been acting up. I logged into my apple id on my phone using my new password. (I have an iphone 5c with ios 8). And ever since, I ahve not been able to receive iMessages using my phonenumber. I checked my settings, and it shows my phoneumber as a dimmed option for my iMessage, but won't let me choose it. At this point, I got fed u with not being sble to receive messaages (Since the majority of my contacts use imessage and don't have my email) so I restarted my phone. Now it is saying that I have no service and that my phonenumber is unknown in the phones app. I nee dto be able to use my phone regularly so please help me ASAP.

From your post I understand that your iPhone is displaying No Service. Because it is displaying No Service, you are unable to link your phone number. First, follow the directions below to resolve the issue of No Service appearing.
If you're in your carrier's coverage area
Follow these steps, testing after each.
Tap Settings > Enable Airplane Mode, wait five seconds, then turn off airplane mode.
Restart your device.
Remove the SIM card. If the SIM card is damaged, worn, or bent, or if it's too big or small for the SIM tray, contact your carrier for a new one. Then reinsert the SIM card.
Check for a carrier-settings update: Connect to a Wi-Fi network, tap Settings > General > About, and install any available carrier-settings updates. If you can't connect to Wi-Fi, connect your device to a computer that has iTunes.
Update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS.
Reset network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings.
Contact your carrier to check for any network or account issues.
Restore your iPhone.

Cannot receive "add request" and bbm messages from International (Australia) Blackberry friends

Hi,
I am using Blackberry Curve 8520 on Vodafone network India. Everything was working fine when all of a sudden I was not able to receive messages on BBM from my friends in Australia. So we deleted each other and now they are not able to add me as well. Whenever they try to add it goes in pending and their cell vibrates(as per their complain). They can add other users in India so issues should be with my BB service. I tried calling my customer care hundred's of times but they are not able to solve my problem. I even visited their store BUT ALL IN VAIN. Everytime they send me some service book and ask me to remove battery and insert it again and say hope it will work BUT IT DOES NOT WORK. I am fed up of all this calling them again and again doing the same useless things.
My data plans are fine and I am able to send and receive BBM messages from my friends in INDIA.
Kindly help me out in the same. Will highly appreciate.

Kin 1 cannot receive texts or send text messages, also cannot access email

I have had the kin 1 for about 3 months, it only has froze once and acted up once, but now whenever I press the messaging screen or the email it sends me right back to the main screen, same thing happens when I send a message, please help. How do I fix this?

I agree with Baubillious ... this might require a factory reset. This will, however, erase everything ... all your photos, settings and contacts. Back up by syncing with Zune before doing a reset, but you'll have to re-enter your contacts and settings afterward, unfortunately.

How do I fix a problem group messaging with one non-iphone user and several iphone users?

My brother switched from an iphone to another smart phone several months ago. The rest of our family all have iphones. When he made the switch, my sister suddenly had problems with group messages going through for him--they went through as imessages for her instead of SMS or MMS. I didn't have that problem until a few days ago. I upgraded to an iphone 6 about a week ago, and group messaging my brother worked fine at first, and then a couple of days ago, suddenly stopped working. If I am texting him singly, it's fine. But in group texts, it automatically sets at imessage.
He has called apple and his number is completely deregistered with imessage. Does anyone know what else we can try? I have deleted all previous messages that were imessage and deleted and re-entered him as a contact.

The non-iphone user is not receiving texts from the group message because it is sending as an imessage. It flipped to imessage randomly last week. When someone send a group message it comes through as empty on my phone. I have MMS and iMessage turned on. It doesn't always happen, but particularly seems to occur when the sender is on an iphone using imessage. I just receive an empty bubble. Help?

No the group is set by the person who initiates the message and cannot be changed, a new group message including the person needs to be started

Group Message Sends as Individual Messages

I have an iPhone 5 with the latest software. My group mesaaging is not working. If I send an iMessage, my group messaging works as it should with all people replying to the same message. However when my iMessage is off and I send a group message, each person receives my message seperately and attached is "New Multimedia Message"
My carrier is Cellcom and my group message and mms messaging are on.

Looks like I am not alone! I seldom MMS so I've missed this thread and posted the same problem fresh post a while back.
Yes, either use the 'Blue Plus' button to add 2nd contact onwards or turn off MMS for now. Gosh, I've been sending quite a few group sms and I have not realized this until now, because sometimes my MMS sending fails and I've to re-send it, only to discover my Group SMS is actually a Group MMS!!
