Cannot Receive Pictures through MMS

Is there any particular reason as to why I can't receive pictures through MMS anymore? I used to, but now when my friends send them, I never get them? Any ideas?

I would love to see an answer to this problem. It always seems like it is going through but hangs up and then shows an exlamation point when it doesn't go thru.

I was also told by Tmobile to try using Cydia but I can't find that app in the App Store...

They are suggesting that you jailbreak your iPhone; use Google to find details it can't be discussed here and will void your warranty once you do so. It is the only way you will be able to use MMS on T-Mobile.
You also will not be able to use FaceTime or Visual Voice Mail and you will only be able to get EDGE data speeds (about 100kps max if you have a great signal and no one else is using the tower).
Google "iPhone MMS T-Mobile" for resolution of that problem.

Cannot receive pictures sent through text

I was able to receive pictures sent through text up until two days ago. The first time I couldn't receive pictures I went to the hub settings -> display and actions --> turned on "download images automatically" and it worked.
Now I just get "You have a message awaiting retrieval. Click the button below to download it" i can click on "download now" 10 times and it won't do anything.
Help!

Because picture messages are sent via the MMS service, I would recommend contacting your wireless network provider to ensure they are not having any issues with MMS or your account in general.

Cannot receive pictures in BBM?

Me and my wife have the same Curve 8530. Her service is through T-Mobil and mine is through US Cellular. Over the last few months I have been unable to send her pictures over BBM. I says sending picture.... then after a few seconds it will say "Wife was unable to save the file." and she never receives the message. I can send her MMS pictures no problem and I have no problem sending pictures over BBM to other friends. I wanted to know if there is possibly a permission that I need to change or what I can do to fix my wife's phone so she can receive pictures over BBM.

Hi Dan,
I have just purchased a 9900 on Saturday (very good handset btw) and I noticed this problem right away. I phoned my carrier (Optus in Australia) and they tried to go through a bunch of things that might fix the problem, however none of them worked. The technician then suggested that I uninstall BBM and then reinstall it. For this to happen, I had to end my conversation with him and he said he would phone me back in 1 hour. I had a feeling that it wasn't a problem with the installation and having been a blackberry user since 2005, I know that sometimes it can be some random thing that has been selected that will disable certain things on the handset.
I played around with a few things, however, this should be able to fix the problem. Of course my directions below will be different depending on the model you have.
Select and go to the menu:
"Options"
then
"Security"
then
"Encryption"
under this you will see an area for "device memory" and "media card", make sure you UNCHECK both of these boxes (if you encrypt your device memory and have a password set on your phone, when your device is locked, it will not display the name of friends calling you, just their numbers...).
By doing this, I assume this then allows the handset to save the incoming photo in some temporary file on the media card.

Why won't iMessage send/receive PICTURES through my iPad, iPhone, and MacPro on Wifi?

For the last 2 weeks or so, I haven't been able to send/receive images through the iMessage application on either of my iPad, iPhone 4S, or MacPro. I have tried different Wi-fi connections, I have deleted/re-added email addresses to which I can be reached at/send messages and tried sending different pictures...all unsuccessfully. I try sending them, they say "Delivered" for a moment and then switch to saying "Not Delivered" (in red). I have tried to confirm with other people if they receive the pictures I send, regardless of me seeing the "Not delivered" message, but they say that they didn't receive anything. I have only been able to send pictures once in the last 2 weeks. Can anyone help me with this?

Since updating to the ios7 I can't receive picture on a text from another iPhone any thoughts. It says it's downloading but never does

I'm having the same problem. I have an iPhone 5 and am running iOS 7.
MMS is on, and I can send pictures successfully. But when I receive them, the photo shows up for a split second before it becomes a downloading icon which never changes.
Can anyone help?

BBM CANNOT RECEIVE PICTURES

i upgraded my bb tour to the latest version of bbm. before on my un upgraded version. i dont have problem sending and receiving file via bbm.
every time my bbm friend send me pictures or file it said "cannot receive file, media file is full" but i tried to clean up my memory but still the message is the same... one thing a some files can be view but cannot be save. plss help thank you

Pull down menu > Options
Options > Device
Device > Storage
storage > UNCHECK MEDIA CARD SUPPORT
Save.

I also have a similar issue since upgrading from the 4s to the 5s.
The issue I have is, issue number 2:" If I do receive a text message/iMessage notification, it disappears within 5-10 minutes before I can even check (no other notifications disappear)"
Which also consists of the same events in the last message from monicash "So for example, if i get a text while sleeping... i wake up in the morning to check my notifications and there is nothing there because it disappeared (even though there should be a notification there with my current settings that are ON)."

8300 Blackberry cannot receive picture messages

Hi everyone. Text messaging works just fine on my 8300, but I am unable to receive picture messages. If someone tries to send me a picture message, my phone does not receive a message or notification at all. It is essentially ignored by my phone. Any help is appreciated.

On many carriers, Picture and Text Messaging are separate service levels...I'd suggest contacting your carrier to be sure that you have the service level needed for the services that you desire.

To resolve issues with sending and receiving SMS, follow these steps first
Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
Verify that you have a cellular network signal in the status bar at the top left of your iPhone. Learn more about troubleshooting no service if there's no signal.
Restart your iPhone.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
Reseat your SIM card.

Cannot send pictures through imessage with new iphone 5s?

Since I upgraded from the Iphone4s to the Iphone5s I have not been able to send pictures through imessage? Anyone experiencing the same problem or know how i can fix this? I looked under messages in settings and made sure everything was turned on.

I had this issue and resolved it with a hard reset. Holding sleep button and home button at same time until phone reboots.

I have the iPhone 6 plus. I have no troubles sending picture and text messagings but cannot receive picture messagings from anyone. Pic messages thru iMessage works just fine. I have t-mobile. Please help.

For issues with sending and receiving text messages, take a look at the article below to continue your troubleshooting. You may need to sign out of iMessage and sign back in as well as resetting the network settings. One other thing to check is to make sure that your friends did not get blocked from being able to send you messages.

Where did you see that message? Individual pictures may not transmit if they don't meet carriier and hardware specifications.
