Cannot receive SMS group texts

I have a Curve 9360. Service is from ATT. Version 7.0.0 Bundle 2408
A group of my friends, mostly Verizon iPhone users but not all, send SMS group texts to each other all the time. I am on the distribution list, but I do not receive the texts. If one of them texts me individually, I do receive it.
Is there a way to receive SMS group texts on my BlackBerry?

Do you know what the recorded message states when someone tries to call you? What kind of signal are you getting? Can you trying sending a text message to yourself and see if you receive it. Keep us updated on this so we can look into options of resolution.

Your screen orientation is probably locked
Double click the home button > Swipe from left to right. See the icon that has an Arrow going in a circle? Probably has a lock in the middle right? click that and that will unlock the orientation

Cannot receive SMS on iPhone 4???

I cannot receive SMS on my iPhone 4. It can send but not receive. It may receive only if no Apps Store application installed, or while everything not interacting with the Internet. Send is ok, everything just like it can handle only one single application and no other background process. This started happen after iOS5 release, NOT after installed. After installed iOS5 with a full reset and installation from Apple Service Center, it desn't help, still cannot receive 99% SMS. And they deny to install 4.3.5 or older for me...poor service!!!!!
The netwoek using is PCCW 3G/2G in Hong Kong. Not receiving messages problem is normal on all other Internet application, such as Whatsapp, Yahoo! everything...but now even the SMS...?! iMessage switch on or off, same, cannot receive SMS.......... What do you mean Apple??? You are really kidding... I don't want to buy 4S, anyway, we can't get it ordered nor too much problem on it at this stage.

Cannot receive sms on iphone 5

cannot receive sms. I have done many network setting restores, i have ordered a new sim card from carrier. no change, this problem comes and goes so sometimes i get the message straight away, other times i receive it either when i make a phone call or restart the phone or turn airplane mode on and off.
I have had this problem on all IOS from 6.0 to 6.1.3.

I have no answer but some knowledge to give. I had the same problem and I had to restore my to the factory settings . It worked and no more problems happened . I guess it has something to do with the update. Hope it work.

Cannot receive SMS

I can send SMS to all my friends but, I cannot receive SMS from anyone. I have this issue since the 1st day I got my iPhone. AT&T says: It's Apple. Apple says: It's AT&T
I have change the SIM card, but still not able to receive SMS !

I guess I am glad that I am not the only one. I can send SMS to my friend in Ireland and my friend in the UK and both have replied and received receipt msgs saying that I got them but I have not received them yet. Help!

Using Verizon Messages Plus App, now Sprint users are receiving blank group texts

Recently downloaded the Verizon Messages Plus App, and now my family with Sprint are receiving blank group texts. I've tried various troubleshooting and can't find a solution. Any help???

Yes, correct. I am the VZ member and my family members are using Sprint.
All the messages they receive are blank (not sure whether they are getting

Cannot Receive SMS Text Messages

I have a Blackberry 8800 on O2 network in UK. I can make and receive voice 'phone calls, send and receive emails and send SMS text mesages BUT cannot receive text messages. When I put my SIM card into another mobile the text messages come through okay. My SIM is not out of space while the "status" in Options/Security/Firewall is set to disabled so is not blocking messages. Any ideas?

I am/was experiencing the same kind of thing. I am in San Antonio, TX and this morning at school my friend (Sprint Customer) said that she had tried to Text me twice this morning. We then tested our phones and saw that she could receive mine but I could not receive hers. Then an AT&T friend of mine sent me a message and I discovered that we can have a conversations just fine.
Then later, after I tried another failed attempt at messaging the friend mentioned previously, I asked another freind (Yet another sprint customer) to text me and we had the same result. Then when he called me to see if i could receive calls I got his last text and many other texts from other people. The problem now is that I still do not reciece all text messages AND the ones I do get come multiple times (I am currently at 5 and counting).
If you find any solutions please let me know

Cannot receive calls or texts

I just ported over from Virgin mobile with an iPhone 4s. Now i got the 5s from Verizon and i cannot receive texts or calls. I can send texts and make calls but all calls go straight to a different prerecorded voicemail. How do i fix this?

Cannot Receive Calls and Text Every Morning! Pls Help!!

Hi all,
I am new here. I registered cus i am facing irritating problem with the phone. I dunno if anyone else is facing the same problem.
I cannot receive any calls or sms everyday morning.
My friends told me that it went directly to the voicemail.
However everything back to normal when i make a call out from my phone (basically just need to dail out a number, ppl dun even have to pick up the call!), and it will receive the sms that it missed immediately.
Actually I noticed the fact is that if i dun touch my phone for more than 3 or 4 hours, it went automatically to 'sleep', and it stop receiving calls.....
So now i have to call my landline every morning to active the phone which is so annoying! And my friends went mad too cus they couldn't find me as i was like disappeared.
I don't think its the problem with my carrier cus it all went fine until i updated it in Jan. Its now v5.0.0832.
I have searched other forums and there are some ppl having the similar problem, some said its cus of the "do not disturb" setting, but its no longer exist. So the problem is still unsolved for many others.
Not sure if os 6 is gonna fix it cus there is one personsaid that he still has the prolem although he updated it to 6.
Please please please! Can anyone help me??!! otherwise i may have to get a new phone, i am a bit regret now, i should have bought a iphone4 instead of bb!

IPhone 4S cannot receive SMS from Blackberry World Edition

I bought an iPhone 4S, and my mother sent me an SMS from her Blackberry World Edition, yet I could not receive it. I was able to send a text to her, and she could get it, and we can both call each other. We are both under Verizon's family plan. I can get my father's texts from a Blackberry Curve (also on the plan). I've tried a hard reset already as well.

This very strange JulianPrice! When did this messaging issue start? Are you able to send /receive message to any contact? Is this issue with SMS only or MMS as well? What messaging application do you use? What is your current ZIP code? Do you have the latest available software for your phone? Please answer these questions and we'll explore options to resolve.
