Cannot received 9 time message at Palm devices

Hi,
I had 2 chat application running 1 as server and 1 as client coding which can run at 2 WTK emulator with sending and received message but when it load into palm handheld it cannot send message with 9 time, it will cause error to be display as below;
ChatRoomConnector.run()
Java.IO.Exception:Socket not open
I had suggest by someone said that the palm with java stream connection only can received 15 time connection then it will terminal the connection. It is what it said as related to my failure??

  • Cannot Receive SMS Text Messages

    I have a Blackberry 8800 on O2 network in UK. I can make and receive voice 'phone calls, send and receive emails and send SMS text mesages BUT cannot receive text messages. When I put my SIM card into another mobile the text messages come through okay. My SIM is not out of space while the "status" in Options/Security/Firewall is set to disabled so is not blocking messages. Any ideas?

    I am/was experiencing the same kind of thing. I am in San Antonio, TX and this morning at school my friend (Sprint Customer) said that she had tried to Text me twice this morning. We then tested our phones and saw that she could receive mine but I could not receive hers. Then an AT&T friend of mine sent me a message and I discovered that we can have a conversations just fine.
    Then later, after I tried another failed attempt at messaging the friend mentioned previously, I asked another freind (Yet another sprint customer) to text me and we had the same result. Then when he called me to see if i could receive calls I got his last text and many other texts from other people. The problem now is that I still do not reciece all text messages AND the ones I do get come multiple times (I am currently at 5 and counting).

    Recently I am over my data plan limit. So I disable the iMessage in my iPhone 5s. I want to receive the message through cellular network. Because I got unlimited msm package.
    But unforturnly, I cannot receive any message from other iPhone users now. They're all showing up senting out iMessage to me. But I receive nothing.
    How to setup to resolve this problem?

  • Have android, cannot receive group mms message from one specific iphone

    I have a galaxy s4. My mom, dad, and sister, all have iphones. Whenever my family sends me a group message, I cannot receive any messages from my dad's phone. For example, if my mom sends a group message to my sister and me, I receive both of their messages. When she sends a group message to my dad and me, I only receive her messages, not my dad's.
    Looking at the message history, group messages on my dad's iphone stay in imessage format (blue) even with my number as a recipient. On my mom's, the messages sent from her are green.
    I can receive individual messages from my dad which are green.
    I've checked the messaging settings on my dad's iphone and it completely matches my mom's messaging settings.
    Is there any reason why his phone is staying in imessage format for group messages as compared to my mom's or my sisters?

    I went through this after switching from iPhone to Android. I spent a couple of hours over a period of three days talking to Apple and Verizon support, trying everything they suggested. I finally got this info from a second-level Apple support rep: This is a known problem that will be fixed in some future release. Meanwhile, ask friends with iPhones to send you one-to-one messages, not group messages.

    I updated my 3GS iphone to 5.0.1 yesterday.  I can make calls and send messages, but cannot recieve calls or messages. I called telstra as I instantly thought network problems.  My friends and family who are also on telstra have not had network issues.  I thought it was strange that this has only occurred after updating my software??  I have restored my phone, reset network settings and still nothing!! Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?

    i have since inserted my sim card into an old phone and then put it back in my 3gs and just received 40+ messages.. not sure why its working now, but it is so I'm happy

  • LG Lucid-Cannot receive pics-Says message expired or not available

    This happens to me a lot as well on my LG Lucid. Sometimes I can receive an MMS and other times I can't. I have also seen quite a few attempts at answering this, but I have yet to see anything definitive on it. Is there anything new on this out there? Is it device specific? Carrier specific?

    I appreciate you bringing this to the attention of the forum. We truly want to maximize your experience with the device. An MMS is sent using data services. If data is not available this can cause an interruption in your experience receiving MMS. Genuinely you will not see this on a smartphone but depending on the available memory of the device you may receive an error when receiving an MMS. If you have older text message threads that are no longer needed it is best to delete these message.

  • Event 29 and 24 that cannot receive the time source in windows server 2003

    I have one server windows server 2003 R2 pop up the event log as below
    Event 29
    The time provider NtpClient is configured to acquire time from one or more time sources, however none of the sources are currently
    accessible.  No attempt to contact a source will be made for 15 minutes. NtpClient has no source of accurate time.
    Event 24
    Time Provider NtpClient: No valid response has been received from domain controller server01.xxxxx.com after 8 attempts to contact it. This domain controller will be discarded as a time source and
    NtpClient will attempt to discover a  new domain controller from which to synchronize.
    My domain controller server01 do not have any pop up event log for the time service.
    I have found some information in Mircosoft TechNet would suggest such as restart  the time service with command prompt. I have tried for it. But the event id keep on to pop up for each hour.
    Should I configure for the time service can read for the hardware?
    Moreover, if I still read the time from DC, any configuration can be done for my server and domain controller? Thanks!

    Would you please tell us that if the DC holds a role of PDC emulator? If yes, you can run “DCdiag” on the DC to check if it is advertising itself as a Time server. In addition,
    please make sure that no firewall is blocking UDP port 123 and you can also ping the DC on the client computer to verify that the client computer is capable of contacting the desired source.
    In addition, please make sure that the value of the
    AnnounceFlags in the registry below is 10:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Config
    Please also make sure the value of
    Type

    Ever since two weeks ago, I have not been able to receive any photos/images through Messages on my iPhone from any non-iPhone users. I used to be able to receive them, but not anymore. I can still send and receive if the other user is an iPhone. I tried resetting my phone and restarting. Even the MMS button is on too.

  • Only one of my contacts cannot receive my text messages, why?

    For the past week, my boyfriend has not been able to receive any of my text messages. He has a samsung s3 and I have an iPhone 4s. We both can call each other and my texts to him say that they are sent. I have called both my provider and Apple and the issue still hasn't been resolved. He also has an iPad which we iMessage off of sometimes, not sure if this has anything to do with it or not. This really is frustrating since it is only one contact, and both my provider and Apple also thought this was a weird situation...

    When looking at your messages that you send him, are they green or blue? Green will mean that it is a SMS that is done by your carrier and if it blue then it is using iMessage service to send the message and they would be going to the iPad even if it does not have access to the internet. He may want to unlink his phone number to it and just use iMessage just through his email address.

  • User cannot receive External Send Output Message manually - ME22N

    Hi Guru's
    I have the following issue, once a User has saved the PO he wants to receive this PO to his email. He goes to "Messages" and selects Medium 5 "External Send" and in Partner he types his User ID in order to receive it.
    He is not receiving any emails and the status in Further Data is "2 incorrectly processed". When he types another User ID, this User does receive the email. Is there anything else I need to configure to this User ID so he can received this Output Messages? He is the only User that cannot receive these Output Messages.

    Problem Solved!!
    I enter to table USR21 (Assign user name address key) and realized User ID did not exist. So I enter to table ADR6 (E-Mail Addresses)  and noticed it was a totally different User. I enter to table LFA1 (Vendor Master) and there was information about this User.
    This left me to one conclusion...This had nothing to do with the User ID
    The Client in the past created Vendors (MK01) has "Buyers". So when the Buyer wanted to send any PO to his email he just went to "Messages" and selected Output Type "NEU" / Medium 5 "External send" / Partner "Vendor#" = Buyer.
    I enter to MK02 and typed the Vendor# they gave him, in "General Data" check only "Address" and press ENTER, updated the email in the field and selected INT E-mail in "Standard Comm Mtd" and problem solved.

  • Cannot receive email from Verizon in Thunderbird 31.5.0

    Have successfully used Thunderbird with Verizon email for years.
    Recently updated to Thunderbird 31.5.0. Now cannot receive any Verizon messages---but can successfully send messages.
    Can receive Verizon messages on Android phone and with Verizon webmail client---Verizon account is functional.
    After many attempts to debug (including 15 mins on line with Verizon tech support), deleted Verizon account in Thunderbird and created a new account. Still cannot receive messages....but can still send messages.
    Any ideas?

    I am really sorry if I have upset you by posting the same message twice. I only registered for the Forum this morning and this was my first message. I clicked Send before I received the email to confirm my address. I therefore assumed that the message had not gone.
    I apologize for this and can assure you that I will not do it again.
    If you are able could you give me some pointers as to what is happening. On looking at my Outbox it looks as though the message did go even though I got the error message.

    We would love to get to the bottom of your message mystery.
    I'm guessing you are getting the error for all messages you attempt to send, is that correct?
    What type of phone did you upgrade from? We ask because if you have switched from an Apple device (e.g., iPhone) to a non-Apple device (e.g., Android, Blackberry, etc.) and previously used the iMessage service, you may experience issues sending/receiving SMS/MMS messages with Apple device users. You need to deactivate the iMessage service within your Apple account to restore normal SMS/MMS functionality.
