Cannot Reinstall any Cloud Programs

My windows 8 computer had to do a restore, it didn't even give me a choice. This corrupted my adobe installions from the cloud.
I tried to reinstall Application manager but whenever I go to download say adobe premiere or any other cloud program nothing happens at all. It used to work but not now.
I installed the adobe support app and all I got was that it was a boot strap error and to reboot my pc. If that didn;t work then remove the inprogress from registry.
In progress key was not even there.
I don't get why it won't reinstall.
I tried the adobe cleaner, it says there were errors, I can't even find the log file now.

I was able to fix this. When using the cleaner I was choosing clean all. Evidenlty you have to have all the programs mentioned to use that feature.
When I chose to clean each program one by one it finally worked all is well.

    I cannot get any java applications to run whenever I try I get

    I'm not exactly sure of the root to your problem but maybe you can try setting the classpath to contain the JAR file that you are running?
    Also...I think you should be launching a JAR file by:
    java -classpath -jar jeditinstall.jar

  • I cannot reinstall creative cloud after computer crash

    I joined CC yesterday and was able to install photoshop etc.  However, I lost all communication with external drives.  I restored my computer to an earlier time.
    Now, external hard drives work.  However, I cannot photoshop does not.  Much of the program is still present but not the .exe file.
    I cannot find the creative cloud application.  I have downloaded it again but the reinstall stops a few seconds after it starts.
    So, I have lost creative cloud and photoshop and cannot recover them.
    Please advise

  • Cannot open any Elements programs!

    I have copies of PSE 9 and PEL 9 and have been using them for over a year with no problems.  Last week I tried to open them (with icon and with .exe file) and got an Elements Organizer 9 screen telling me the trial is over and I have to either buy it or provide a serial number.   The serial number seems to be accepted but the program still won't open.  I bought a new copy of PSE10 and PEL 10, installed them and get an Elements Organizer 10 screen.  Seems to accept serial number but won't go any further.
    I installed the programs with Norton off.  I am running Windows 8, and have 8GB ram and plenty of room on the hard drive.  I'm stuck.  Can anyone help?

    I tried the first part of that, but didn't help.  I'm not getting a message that says "Licensing for this product has stopped working"
    The problem seems to be with "Organizer"   It seems to think it is a separate program that needs to be purchased since the trial has run out.  It doesn't realize it is part of PSE.  Do you think the rest of steps may help or could I cause more damage?

    I have read many discussions on this subject and none have been able to solve the problem for me. A lot of the threads just go round in circles. I had a major problem with my PC which now seems to have been fixed. I now want to reinstall my CC applications but when I click on download for Photoshop, for example, it takes me to a blank screen. I know this is a common issue but none of the suggestions have worked for me. I am now getting a bit desperate as I need Photoshop reinstalled very soon.
    I have tried accessing the center through both Fireworks and Chrome with the same result.
    I am unable to even install the Adobe Cloud Desktop app.
    I am on a PC running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

    It was Ghostery causing the problems. My computer is locked down very securely. I'll copy the reply I posted on the other forum. I applies just as much to this one. Thanks to everyone for all your help. It is very much appreciated.
    I solved the problem. It was Ghostery. It was stopping Adobe trackers. I originally had thought I turned everything off but I keep Ghostery on. Luckily it seems as if the trackers are from Adobe so that is fine. Sorry again for the tone I used. My computer is pretty much locked down with security and privacy software. I am a bit embarrassed but my computers very safe so I'm fine with it. Thank you both very much for replying and your help is very much appreciated. Hopefully I can catch up with everything now.

  • How do I reinstalling Creative Cloud programs on my rebuilt machine?

    I need to edit my film for finals today and I can't find an easy way to redownload my programs, I can't find Chat to talk with Adobe directly. I'm freaking out a bit because my finals are  due and of course my machine crashed.

    You install on a new or rebuilt computer exactly the same way you did the first time... log in to your Adobe account and proceed

  • Cannot Update any CS3 programs on Leopard??

    I recently upgraded to leopard 10.5.6 and i reinstalled CS3 with no problems but i can't update them without the installer freezing. I sometimes even need to force the computer to shut down. Has anyone else come across this problem. it's incredibly annoying! Not sure if it's with my new iMac, Leopard or Adobe but would love an answer.

    I did a search and found this thread on my problem, but haven't figured out a solution.
    My problem is I have Adobe Creative Suite 3 (I purchased the discs rather than downloaded) which have served me fine on my desktop mac running OS 10.4.11.
    I've just bought a MacBook Pro laptop running the latest Leopard OS and I simply can't install from my CS3 discs. My first attempt began to install, I think, then the mac forced a quit mid-installation. Now whichever discs I drop in (application or content) no installers start up.
    I was wondering if I could try downloading CS3 from the net, and then enter my serial numbers from the new download. I don't want to upgrade to CS4, CS3 is plenty to be going on with.
    Help, help, what should I do?

  • Beta 4 ver 6 installed on Mac Snow Leopard 10.6.4 will not run, will not delete, cannot reinstall any other version of mozilla, also mozilla help is useless and too confusing, is there not just a simple email address to ask for help?

    Firefox tries to run, mac says name too long. It will run only when mounted but will not run from Applications. It refuses to delete and stays in trash, must use combinations of DropNuke2 and Trash to get it to delete I think! Then when trying to put any other version of Firefox in Applications, Finder states name already exists then refuses to move the Firefox application to APplications! Never had problems with Firefox until installed the stupid beta 4 ver 6!

    It turns out that there's something wrong about permissions.
    Here's the fix:
    (1) log in as the +root user+
    (2) type +chown -R Michael:staff ~Michael+
    (3) log out the +root user+
    (4) log in your account
    (5) done!
    Hope this thread will help those who encounter the same problem as me!

  • Where are the TV shows hiding in iTunes Store?  I cannot find any TV programs for purchase as before

    I have long been purchasing TV shows from the iTunes store, especially when I am traveling to Europe for work.  I did this as recently as two weeks ago.  I am now unable to locate a "TV" category in the iTunes store or find any specific show or episode for preview or purchase.  I am using a MacBookPro but am at a loss for what is up.  Any help??

    Which country's iTunes Store are you using? Check the flag icon at the very bottom of the main iTunes Store window. It's possible you've inadvertently changed to a country where TV shows are not available.

    That was probably caused by your Firewall blocking the newly installed version of Firefox.
    No known security issues with Firefox 3.6.17, which was just released this past week.

    Then there is something seriously wrong with either your
    browser
    Windows
    Internet connection
    I have just downloaded that installer (on Windows 7, using Pale Moon), and the download completed within less than 10 seconds.  And I am some 10,000km away from the Adobe download servers.
    Can you try a different browser?
    Can you download anything to your computer, e.g. from Microsoft?

    Repair your Apple software Update.
    Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
    If you don't find ASU in All programs, go to control panel/
    XP- add n remove Programs/highlight ASU, CHANGE then REPAIR.
    Vista or Win7 - Programs n features/highlight ASU and click REPAIR

  • Cannot install any apps from Creative Cloud in corporate environment.  Suspsected Firewall issues.

    I subscribed successfully and easily to CC on my home PC (iMac) and downloaded a few apps.  All is fine. 
    I wanted to download those same few apps on a remove machine I use several times a week (Win 7).
    After many many attempts of trying to download CC and getting a generic error message, I learned it could be a firewall issue here at this work/office. I found this in Adobe's forums:
    Many organizations use a hardware firewall and proxy server that can prevent software from accessing an FTP server. A hardware solution applies to all computers within the corporate network. Most home networks do not use hardware firewall or proxy technology. 
    Contact your company's IT department to obtain firewall or proxy information.
    Configure your browser with proxy or firewall information.
    Configure your corporate firewall to by-pass the servers. The following servers are accessed:
    ccmdl.adobe.com:80
    swupmf.adobe.com:80
    swupdl.adobe.com:80
    Having nothing to loose, I put in a request and had these addresses/ports opened up in our firewall.  That seems to partially fix the problem.
    Now the problem is the speed and traffic is so terribly slow with CC that nothing installs with out failing and giving error. For example, I am trying to install PhotoShop CC and it will take a couple of HOURS to even get to 10% and then it fails.  Usually, it doesn't get that far.  CC just gives me the generic message:
    "Installation Failed - Learn More."
    Download error.  Press Retry to try again or contact customer support.(-7).
    Our network admins swear that there is nothing wrong with the ports/firewall and yet all this works fine at my home.  Can anyone offer any suggestions or advice?  My internet connection here is fine.  All other sites load and work fine.  I simply cannot download any of the CC aps here with any reasonable speed.
    Help!
    PS - The URLs and ports ping just fine.
