Cannot renew credits in Taiwan

I am having the same problem! I have had my account for almost 10 years now, long before PCHome, so why can't i do a simple renew??? I would understand if this was presented BEFORE I had setup all my business accounts. Now I'm faced with trying to delete my credit card info from Skype because they lost me as a customer. Good job Microsoft!

Cannot renew my IP address after uninstalling CS3 and web premium software

Yesterday I deactivated my cs 2or 3 and my adobe web premium software and unistalled it from my windows xp professional computer. I cannot renew my ip address, I cannot ping my gateway 192.168.1.1. My other computers on the network work fine. I even installed a usb wireless adapter to access the internet, but I still cannot connect to the internet. Something had to happen with this uninstall. I can't even restore it to a "last known working configuration" and I can't even use my recovery console to reformat my drive. What the heck happened??!!

HLS stream cannot renew when adobe media encoder restart

Hi,
I used adobe media server 5.0 in Red Hat 4.1.2 and adobe meida encoder 3.2 to recording HLS stream(get ts file), there's no problem when first running(use jwplayer to view the steam), but when I disconnect adobe media encoder for some time(about 12 hours) and reconnect the encoder, I found hls stream cannot renew, always stay on the moment I disconnect the encoder.
I know delete adobe media server old data(f4f, f4x) solve the problem, is there a way that adobe media server can renew the stream automatically?

If you are not concerned with your .f4f fragments (storing them), then pass "&adbe-record-mode=record" string along with your rtmp stream ID. This will erase the entire /streams/<streamid> directory and re-publish. However, jwplayer will receive an error.. For jwplayer to cycle automatically on error, just reload the same .m3u8 below with this error function when you load the jwplayer

Cannot renew DCHP or acess through WRT54GS2

I have a WRT54GS2 (not using the wireless just wired) and when i connect everything too it i cannot get internet connectivity, and before you give me the same macro you give everyone else:
its not the router i can directly connect to the modem and get internet,
its not the router i have a network between my desktop, laptop, and xbox 360
everything is connected and i even ran the setup and still nothing it says the local network is fine that the router isn't connected to the internet at all
my old linksys router worked perfectly
i set the DCHP broadcast flag and toggle and still nothing
when i go into the admin page of the router everything is fine except i cannot renew the DCHP at all, all the values for everything are set at 0
i have done all the research i can before i go nuts, im not the average user with no networking knowledge there is something i am missing or what because this is rediculous

Who is your ISP ?
As you have mentioned on the Routers Status tab you are able to find all the IP address are all 0.0.0.... This means your Router is not Configured properly...
If you are trying to configure all the settings on your Router using the setup disk you can exit from the setup and configure all the settings on your router manually...

I cannot renew or buy unlimited subscriptions

i cannot renew my old subscription or buy new unlimited subscriptions. i am trying to buy unlimited plan to india but it reverts back to the same webpage again and again.
its the same for unlimited indonesia or any other country. whereas if i try to buy a normal plan to india the 120 mins or the 60 mins plan i am able to purchase it.. pls help me out as i just bought 50 dollar worth credit and i cant buy the subscription and my previous one expired. why cant i accces the page for unlimited and 400 mins ????

Cannot renew subscription

So today i just realised thatmy skype subsciption got cancelled because of the payment issue and when itried to reactivate my subscription it is not even visible in my account to reactivate , itried to look for the subscrption option and now the country i have been calling using skype (india)is not even included in new subscription . i was going through the website looking forward to find someone i can talk to to resolve the issue but unforunately skype doesnot have any contact us number nlor a online chat portal [offensive text removed]. Further research brought me to this page where i can write my issue [offensive text removed].

Buying Credits in Taiwan - Only Foreigners Must Pr...

The Taiwan government requires that foreigners in Taiwan submit a scanned copy of their passport in order to buy Skype credits. So the sole third party website that collects payments for Skype must require this. The law applies only to foreigners, i.e., non-Taiwanese citizens.
If you simply make the mistake of attempting to purchase credits through Skype's website while in Taiwan, your account will be "hijacked" by PChome, so even after you leave Taiwan you can no longer buy credits except through that vendor. And you will have to trust them with ID in addition to your credit card information.
Discriminatory cell phone contracts and banking policies have the rationale that foreigners might skip town without paying, but that is not the issue in this case. It's hard to think of any other reason for demanding multipe ID than facilitating surveillance of foreigners.
Complaints should be directed at Skype, PChome and the government of Taiwan.
The solution if you refuse to comply is to use another service. Here are some free or nearly free alternatives that don't require ID:
* Facebook video chats
* Facetime
* Google Voice (lets you call land lines from a computer)
* Gmail "hangouts" (video calling that is enabled through intstant messaging function
* Gmail also lets you call land lines by simply clicking on any phone number contained in an email.

I haven't the faintest idea. I only use DV, HDV and XDCAM-EX/HD and have never tried it with any (RED) 4K material. I assume it should be sufficient to handle that. But let's be honest, when I increased my raid array from 10 to 12 disks, I did not notice ANY performance gains. The limiting factor must be the PCI-e bus or the Areca controller, that just does not show any improvements from adding a couple of disks. Another thing to consider is that the various benchmark programs widely in use show quite different results.
As an example, here are two images from HD Tune Pro, one for my 2 disk raid0 on the Marvell chip and the other from my 12 disk raid30 array. First of all, HD Tune shows the wrong size, it is not 2199 GB but should be 10000 GB (at least that is what Areca claims as shown in the last picture), second it ONLY performs at around 745 MB/s transfer rate.
The most noteworthy item to look at is the rapid performance degradation of this raid0 when the disks get fuller. An average transfer rate of 165 MB/s is quite acceptable for a 2 disk setup, but seeing it go down to below 100 MB/s when the disks fill up is bothersome. It will not allow you to handle uncompressed HD at all.

I am sorry to bother you with this but after 15 minutes of searching I could not find any support number, email address or anything for Skype. Is this true??????? A paid service with no support? Just a bunch of FAQ items that does not help?
The problem is: I have some Skype Numbers. Before they expire, I usually receive a warning and then I go there and manually pay $60 to extend them for another year. At least this is how it worked in the past.
Now I received an email saying that my automatic payment (whaaaaat???) failed and my Skype Number will expire within 2 days.
The problems are:
1. I have never asked them to debit my account automatically.
2. And especially not with $18 which is 3 months only. I want another year.
3. Nothing changed with my credit cars do why did it fail?
4. Where have all the manual payment options gone???????
There is no button or any option to pay manually. It only allows me to change the payment method. There is no way I can pay the annual fee.
Is this a Microsoft trick so that I will lose my number? Can anyone help me as apparently there is no support for Skype but a bunch of useless FAQ items. I pay for this service but I cannot get help.
Anyone, please, help. I do not want this to expire. This is the number my mother calls me at from the other side of the planet. This is VERY important to me. This is the only way she can contact me. Please, help.

As I understand it, the process is simply to cancel the three-month subscription (you can do this via your account or by contacting Skype Customer Service). You will not lose your current Skype Number; it will be held for you for 90 days following the end of the current subscription term). Then, after the subscription expires, sign on to your account and renew your Skype Number for the term you wish. If you wish to cover the cost using Skype Credit, ensure there is enough credit on account prior to renewing.

Cannot renew Skype number service

I tried to renew my subscription to Skype number, but the system doesn't allow me to do so.
It says: " You Skype number subscription will be expired today as your payment was unsuccessful. Please chance your payment method to retain your services"
I am using Skype credits as my payment method. My last payment was 17.5GBP and I have 17.97GBP Skype credits on my account. Does anyone know how to renew the service?

When you state that live chat (is actually instant message) was not working, could you provide more detail of what did or did not occur? If you are unsuccessful in sending a message, to which you would receive a reply via e-mail, please post back indicating error messages and the browser(s) you used.
I agree with you; I would be alarmed as well. As a proactive measure, I would recommend changing account passwords.

Cannot renew an expired subscription even though i...

I had a 1 month subscription to the Philippines: 120 minutes @ $9.99. It has expired however I have until August 10 to renew or reactivate the subscription and 'maintain my current setttings.' When I attempt to renew the subscription, I get the prevailing rate of $12.99, even though its before the expirey day.
Can someone please explain why I should be entitled to the previous rate of $9.99 if I reactivate before Aug 10, BUT I CANNOT GET THIS RATE? A timely reply would be appreciated

Cannot renew code signing certificate - maybe bug with german Umlaut?

Since one month I expierence a message that I should renew my code signing certificate and today I thought it is time to stop this message.
Because I could not find anything about renewing the certificate in Mountain Lion I used the KB-article that discribes the process for Lion.

after that I get this in at my terminal:

when I press return I get this:

I checked it again and again - I cannot find any typo or something like that - so maybe Mountain Lion wants to renew the certificate in a different way or certadmin cannot cope with german "Umlaute" - "für" - in english for - but I did not gave this name it was given by the system when I setup the server one year ago.

"When entering the hexadecimal serial number, ensure that all letters are entered in lower case."
I retyped the command with lower case hex numbers and everything was fine

Cannot renew IP address: Linksys or Norton Security problem?

I use a LinkSys BEFW1154 Wireless-B router with two Dell Notebooks. On one notebook, a trial version of Norton Security 2006 popped up a few weeks ago. I uninstalled it, and my connectivity disappeared on that computer only. Although I see a strong signal on my Verizon network, the computer hangs when trying to renew my IP Address. Verizon techs spent hours trying to resolve this, but we both think that Norton has left traces of the Security suite that are preventing the IP address from being renewed.
Does this sound like a reasonable diagnosis, and if so, what answers does anyone have?

Norton products should never be uninstalled using the standard "Add/Remove" or even the standard Norton "Uninstall" program. If you use these methods, Norton products tend to leave "traces" behind. However, usually these "traces" only interfere with installs (or re-installs) of Norton products.
To make sure your Norton product is completely removed, you must use the "Norton Removal Tool" that is posted on the Symantec.com website. Here is the URL:

Subscription expired - cannot renew same subscript...

Hi, I used to have Skype Premium 300 allowing me to call both mobiles and landlines around the world. When it expired - and that was my fault for not taking action in time - I tried to purchase the same plan but I wasn't able to find it anymore. pricing of available subscriptions were also different to what they used to be.
Even though I ended up purchasing a lesser plan, I really need one which is equivalent to the old Premium both price and features wise.
1. Where can I find Premium again?
2. Can I transfer any credit left on my current plan to the new Premium?

Skype Premium was discontinued almost a year ago, hence there is no subscription for your account to "recognize and restart". You will need to find a new subscription from the multitude we have available that best covers your needs, and purchase that one

EAP-TLS - 802.1x - Certificate renewal

I want to implement EAP-TLS as realised in Document "EAP-TLS under Unified Wireless Network with ACS 4.0 and Windows 2003". Everything thing works fine.
Though our customer wants to FW the Data WLAN/ VLAN and allow only data traffic between WLAN Client to a the terminal server within his secure LAN.
By blocking all other traffic(except Terminal Server sessions) we experienced that the MS WinXP Client cannot renew its` EAP_TLS Certificate (in this case both user and machine)when its` Time expires.
Could somebody give me a hint if there are other Cisco solutions for this issue.
I have also read something about Cisco Virtual office. Does this deployement coupe up to solve this issue?

The purpose Cisco ACS agent is, that ACS 4.x appliance (non-Windows2003 server) is capable to do Windows user authentication. I guess that won't help your issue.
What I don't get is the following:
Are you using WPA2(AES) as encryption? Then the WLAN is not considered as unsecure over the air.
The CA enrollment is a pure Windows issue. I haven't heard of Cisco mechanisms to cover that case. The only way I see is to open the FW for the needed MS services or to use another EAP-type (like PEAP).
