Cannot repair Adobe 9.3 or edit within PDFs

Hello, I'm having two problems. First, a client has sent me a document in PDF form and I want to make changes within it -- I want to cross some things out, make comments in the margins, highlight stuff, and otherwise edit as I do within Word using the tracking device. When I went to open her document, it said that I could only make those changes if I had Adobe Reader 9.
I thought I already had that but I went to the main website to download a version. After I did, and pressed run instead of save, I was asked if I wanted to repair or remove the reader. That says to me that I already have it on my machine. I chose repair. I tried this unsuccessfully three times, and kept getting an error message called 1316 -- networking error connecting to the document on my computer. That's really strange because I was right on the website.
Can anyone help with either of these two problems? My only real desire is the ability to edit my client's document. Should I remove 9.3 and start over?

Adobe Reader X and searching within PDFs in Outlook 2007

Hello,
Is it possible to search within pdfs attached to emails in Outlook 2007 via the search box in Outlook? I currently have Adobe Acrobat Reader X installed and Outlook 2007. Is there an iFilter available for this functionality within Reader X or would I need to either go back to Reader 9 or upgrade to a newer version to have this capability?

This may help a few of you here.
I'm running IE 8 and Adobe Reader X on a WIN64Bit system.
Reader X wouldn't open an embedded PDF with IE8 64BIT. AR X seems to like an older version of IE.
Go to your START menu and you should see "Internet Explorer" and "Internet Explore (64-bit)".
Open a window with the "Internet Explorer", not the (64-bit).
In the IE8 window you'll see a "?" on the tool bar. Open it and click on "About Internet Explorer".
You should NOT SEE "64-bit Edition".
If you don't see "64-Bit Edition", go and try to view the PDF again.
It works for me and it seems I'll have to live with it until there's a patch for 64-Bit.

Cannot "repair" Adobe Acrobat Pro v8.0

I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro v8.0, and MS Office 2004. When I open Acrobat, it asked me if I want to repair the installation. Yes, I do, so I select the PDFMaker Toolbar for Office, Adobe PDF Printr, and Adobe PDFViewer Safari Plugin.
At this point, neither Safari nor MS Office (any of the associated applications) are open. However, when I click "continue" I get a screen telling me to close down Safari and Microsoft Applications (but they are not running, or are they?).
Does the problem lie with me, Adobe, MS, or Leopard?

Without seeing the actual text of the message, it's hard to tell what the problem might be. Are you sure it isn't telling you to close them down if they're running?
As for Adobe Acrobat, what did you do to it after you installed it? You changed or deleted something, which is why it's asking you if you want to repair it. Adobe is known for making no details available about moving or deleting things that may affect their applications' ability to be 'repaired' or updated in the future.

Cannot install Adobe CC (Student & Teacher Edition) on both of my computers. Asks to start trial/enter serial?

I purchased Adobe CC Student and Teacher Edition so that I could complete my school assignments. However, I need to install it on both my laptop and desktop for obvious reasons. Last night I installed the applications on my desktop computer, but after attempting to install the applications on my laptop, it simply asks me to start a trial.
I was under the impression that I received 2 installs for adobe CC.

Close all Adobe applications and Quit Creative Cloud desktop application.
End all Adobe related tasks like Creative Cloud ,CoreSync,Armsvc........etc from Task Manager. (Click on more details in Task Manager) .
Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.

Then navigate to Local>Adobe>OOBE. Open OOBE folder and delete opm.db file.
Once you had deleted opm.db file , launch Creative Cloud desktop application and sign in with Adobe ID using which you had purchased CC subscription .
Once signed in , click on Apps tab and check.

I've checked your account, and couldn't see what version of Acrobat that you have. You may be referring to the Acrobat DC which Adobe announced this week, but that isn't available just yet.
So, for the time being, you'll need to use Acrobat Pro XI or earlier to edit PDF files. You can download a 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

I just find fixed issues where there is not shown my problem and I cannot find the way to write my question about my need of a code for Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2. Acrobat XI is not distributed with Designer. Designer is now a separate product. You can create forms in Acrobat as an AcroForm or using Forms Central (an online forms program). You can print the form to a new PDF and then recreate the fields in Acrobat using the recognize form fields. You will likely have to fix the form fields, but that would be the process. Generally, once a form is taken to Designer, you can't bring it back without such steps.
Designer is available with AA8 - AAX, but since is a separate product as I indicated.

What are you actually trying to do? Don't forget that Acrobat is not really an editor, but provides some tools to allow minor edits. If the file has security set, you may no be able to do anything.

When setting pref for email client within Adobe PSE, AOL is not listed as an email option. I have reinstalled Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2, and unlocked, reinstalled AOL 10 (desktop) and reset it as the default email client. The default is working, as mailto: links in browsers open up AOL Desktop, and the email app listed at the top of the <START> button is AOL. How can I set it as an email client in Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2? Is there some registry hack? Interference with another app?

Re 3.2 Photoshop. After I had some repair done to my computer, the photos in my album have the restricted little red square at the bottom of each photo. When I try to open the photo to fix or print a message box comes on that nothing can be done because of overide problem. In fact it closes the photoshop immediately because of this error. Is there anything I can do? - if I search the Browse button I get absolutely no connection or a march. This is most frustrating. I tried calling tech assistance, they could not help me infact hung up on me. What sort of helpfull assistance is that? Should there be any helpfull suggestions, other than uninstalling (Have done that) and reinstalling (done that) nothing seems to work.
