Cannot retrieve definition for form bean null
Hi,
I have a page jsp which contains a form. This form contains an action
towards (page.do ).
I configured struts-config.xml file in whom I put a configuration of
action ( type=xxx.pageAction ) but not form because I have not need of
it.
During the execution it show that it tries to instantiate a bean of form
corresponding to a configuration of action and post this error message
" Root causes of ServletException javax.servlet.jsp. JspException:
Cannot retrieve definition for form bean null "
Could you indicate to me where is the problem ?
Here is my configuration :
< html:form action = " page.do " method = " post " >
</html:form >
<action path="/page"
type="xxx.pageAction">
<forward name="show" path="/page.jsp"/>
</action>
Thanks in advance
Rachid.
There's little reason to use Struts infrastructure to set this up since you have no model, and the controller aspect is well-defined (just go to "NewProject"!). You're basically providing a link from one page to another, akin to doing an <a href>, and you wouldn't use Struts to do a simple link :).
I would just just use standard HTML.
If you're okay with using Javascript, this is the simplest:
<input type="button" onClick="document.location='NewProject'">
Or you can use a standard HTML form, as you've basically done already:
<form action="NewProject" method="get">
<input type="submit" value="Create">
</form>

Cannot create a Struts Form bean using jdeveloper 10g
Hello I'm new to jdeveloper and struts and triying to create a sample login page following this tutorial :http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/jdev/htdocs/handson/struts/strutshandson.html
But I have a little problem in the 3rd excercice (Building Struts Form Beans and Actions)
when I follow the instructions "Select File | New > Choose Web-Tier in the Categories, and select Struts > Select ActionForm from the Items > Click OK. "
there is no ActionForm Item ! the only available item is "Struts Controller page Flow" and I allready used this one to create the struts' project template !
(same thing : Struts Action in the next tutorial section is not available)
BTW : I have to use jdeveloper 9.0.5.2 and not a latest version1. Take a look at the class diagram for query model http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17904_01/web.1111/b31973/af_query.htm#BABDGCHI

Cannot find binding operation definition based on wsaAction='null'
I'm using correlation sets to invoke an axis service asynchronously. I understand that, in this way, passing ws-addressing headers (replyTo, messageId, etc) is not required. However, the generated process' WSDL contains:
<binding name="FlightCallbackPortTypeBinding" type="tns:FlightCallbackPortType">
<soap:binding style="document" transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/>
<operation name="flightServiceCallback">
<soap:operation style="document" soapAction="flightServiceCallback"/>
<input>
<soap:header message="tns:WSARelatesToHeader" part="RelatesTo" use="literal" encodingStyle=""/>
<soap:body use="literal"/>
</input>
</operation>
</binding>
When Axis calls back, it sends the message:
POST /orabpel/default/process_wsba/1.0 HTTP/1.0
Content-Type: text/xml; charset=utf-8
User-Agent: Axis/1.3
Host: localhost:8088
SOAPAction: "flightServiceCallback"
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">

<price xsi:type="xsd:int" xmlns="">4</price>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
However, I get the error message:
<faultcode>soapenv:Server.generalException</faultcode>
<faultstring>Cannot find binding operation definition based on wsaAction='null', and soapAction='flightServiceCallback' in http://cali:9700/orabpel/default/process_wsba/1.0/_process_wsba.wsdl</faultstring>
<detail>
<ns1:hostname xmlns:ns1="http://xml.apache.org/axis/">cali</ns1:hostname>
</detail>
1) What's missing in my callback?
2) Do I need to bother about the wsa header even using correlationSets?
Thank in advance,

how should we resolve this issue? does any one have such experience on this issue?
thanks.Hi;
As our Colleague said it would be good to create message to SAP.
01 .Please check the cache,
02. check the system users are not locked.
03. Re-initialization option in Java Web Start Administration (before using this please read the description carefully).
04. try Full Cache Refresh.
05. Check the Java run time version you are using.

Hi,
I am trying to open a business rule in EAS and I am recieving the following error: Cannot retrieve connected root element for Planning/Servername/Application/Database.
I am able to connect to the application via Planning Web, but I am recieving this message when I am trying to open the business rule in eas.
hoping if someone has come across this issue before and has been able to successfully fix it.Hi,
I have 2 BRs, one is with RTP and another without RTP (basically a clacscript as BR).
I don't have any issue with the BR without RTP.
When I try to validate BR withRTP, validation is failing with

"cannot create jbcd driver of class " for connect URL 'null'" error
I am trying to get an application that is currently working fine on a Windows platform to work in a Linux environment.
One thing that is different from my setup in Windows, and also one that I have no experience with, is the Linux-Ubuntu default install of Apache uses Virtual Hosts and Tomcat's equivalent multiple sessions.
I'm running the app out of the usr/share/tomcat6/webapps/msgboard instance of Tomcat vs var/lib/tomcat6.
I am calling the application from Apache Virtual Host port 80 using mod_jk. The application cannot run under native Tomcat because of the extensive use of PHP. Everything else in the application is working correctly including a DWR (Ajax) servlet. However I also tried a simple test app from native Tomcat and got the same results.
I also tried connecting with jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/msgboard?autoreconnect=true&user=root&password=password at the terminal prompt and got
bash: jdbc:mysql://localhost/msgboard?autoreconnect=true: No such file or directory

I had to add
<Resource name="jdbc/webappDB"
auth="Container"
type="javax.sql.DataSource"
maxActive="100"
maxIdle="30"
maxWait="10000"
username="root"
password="password"
driverClassName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"
url="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/webapp?autoReconnect=true"/>into /var/lib/tomcat6/conf/Catalina/localhost/ webapp.xml
Note: the above context file was created automatically after deploying the webapp. I had to add the <resource> to it.
The context I created in usr/share/tomcat_home/webapp/META_INF/context.xml is still there and has the same <resource>.defined in it. I did not verify whether or not it still needs to be there.
After that I had to add two policies
/var/lib/tomcat6/conf/policy.d/03catalina.policy
grant {
permission java.lang.RuntimePermission "accessClassInPackage.org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.*";
and 04webapps.policy
permission java.net.SocketPermission "127.0.0.1:3306", "connect,resolve,listen,accept";
That did the trick!
Other things that were done but have not been verified as to have any bearing on this issue.
I changed the active java from openjdk to java-sun
I added $tomcat_home/lib:$tomcat_home/lib/mysql-connector.jar:$tomcat_home/lib/commons-dbcp.jar to PATH
Changed CLASSPATH=usr/share/classpath:usr/share/java/commons-dbcp.jar:usr/share/java/mysql-connector.jar

I cannot retrieve my emails on my Mac Book Pro operating on 10.7.3 Icloud was already workingit keeps asking for password and when i put correct password in it keeps asking for it again and again. This has just started today
Though it's unlikely to be wrong if things were set up properly in the first place, as a check go to Mail Preferences>Accounts and check that the server setting for IMAP (incoming) is imap.mail.me.com (not just mail.me.com).
Your next step either way would be to go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign out, then sign back in again. (You can ignore warnings about data disappearing - your calendars etc. will disappear when you sign out but reappear when you sign back in). -
