Cannot Rotate iPhone Images

I no longer can rotate screen to landscape view in any of the applications that support this feature. Is there a setting I need to adjust or is there another problem? I noticed this after I installed IOS 4.0.1 but am not sure that was the direct cause.

Duh, I found the answer on page 32 of the iPhone IOS4 User Guide:
"Lock [unlock] the iPhone screen in portrait orientation (iPhone3GS or later): Double-click the Home button, flick the bottom of the screen left-to-right, then tap the [lock/unlock symbol]."
I had tried to search the Guide for the solution, but could not find it easily. Need to improve my search skills, I guess.

Since you are running CS3, it is not inconceivable that you may be running NAV (Norton Anti Virus) in an older OS. NAV can cause that error and generate precisely that error message if you have NAV activated.
Just a thought.

How do I rotate an image in Lightroom Mobile for the iPhone?

Hi,
Maybe I am missing something obvious, but I can't figure out how to rotate any images in Lightroom Mobile for the iPhone. The documentation is for the iPad and shows a rotate control on the right hand side of the screen, but no such control is showing up on the phone. I tried various numbers of fingers to just spin the image, but no luck. Can someone please let me know how this is supposed to work?

When I rotate my video clip so that is isn't viewed sideways, it has black bars on both sides and some of picture is missing. Can I rotate the image so it plays rightside up without the black bars? The image was taken by an iPhone. I am viewing it on PC

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Scroll up from the bottom on the screen to get the control screen. The button on the right is rotation lock. Turn it off.

How do I rotate an image in Pages?

When selecting an image that I have imported to a pages document, I can resize it and move it but cannot rotate it manually. The format bar is not highlighting either the floating or inline button. Is there some way to rotate images that I am not seeing or am I doing something wrong?

You can either cmnd-click on a corner box (you'll get the little curved arrow) and rotate it with the mouse, or you can select it and use the Metrics Inspector to rotate it.

Rotating an image and getting back the image...

I have a small problem using images...
1. I have an existing image...
2. I need to rotate the image by a certain angle(say 60 degree)....
3. Return the rotated image back to the calling routine...
My problem is that I can rotate the image using the AffineTransform, and draw the image immediately... but I cannot return the rotated image... can anyone help me out on this??????

No sorry that didn't fix it. I forgot to mention that I already have a method in ImagePanel called clearImage()

I update my iPad to iOS 7.1.2 and then I cannot rotate screen.

Below is the solution which has worked for me. Hope it works for you guys as well.
Steps:
1. Connect your iPhone to Computer thru USB
2. Go to Device Manager.
3. Then check in Imaging Device, Other Devices, Portable Devices, or Universal Serial Bus Controllers and see if you see Apple iPhone.
4. Now right click where it shows Apple iPhone and click on "Update Driver Software"
5. Then Click Browse My Computer for driver Software.
6. Click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
7. Click the Have Disk button
8. In the "Install from Disk" dialog, click the Browse button.
9. Use this window to navigate to the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers.
10. Double-click the "usbaapl" file. It may also say sometimes "usbaapl64"
11. Click OK in the "Install from Disk" dialog.
12. Click Next and finish the driver-installation steps. Open iTunes to verify that the device is recognized properly. Boom !!! It done and worked for me.

Rotate an image in an applet

Hi all,,,
I was wondering how i rotate an image. As it stands now, i have the image reference in a variable and i need to know what the proper way is to reference that image with the Graphics2D class. I've tried a few things, but whenever i try to use the rotate method in Graphics2D, it gives me an error.
Perhaps just a short snippet to give me a push in the right direction?

Rotate an image about it centre point

Can some one please tell me how to rotate an image about its
centre point in flex 2.0?
I've tried using .rotation and looked at matrix
transformation but I can't find a way to set the roatation to the
centre of the image :(

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)

Rotating iPhone Wallpaper

Is there a way to hand select a number of personal photos and have them rotate as wallpaper each time you turn on your iPhone, the same way you can rotate desktop images each time your Mac comes out of sleep mode? I have an application and developing for iPhone OS 2.2 . I use UIImageView and I want rotating my image with touch move position .
I load image into the view that like image is 'Span Wheel'. When i Touch move on the image it is rotating on Touch move position with speed of touch.
When I touch move low speed it will rotating short then stop automatically speed of touch move. If it is possible for do that.....
