i have Windows Xp Pro and installed the Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0
with Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)...
the problem is that when i have the connection with lan for internet the browser show the error of
Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again
i have seeing one that related to this problem in this forum and forgot where it is...
but it seems to be solve the problem by copying the directory of a folder such as
"OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_orcl" in the directory = D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\oc4j\j2ee...
i think i was wrong with the directory for the oc4j or maybe any other problem

  • I cannot play music when connect to stereo via 30-pin connector. Help?

Since I first upgraded my iPod Touch 2nd Gen to iOS 4.x, I cannot play music when connect to external speakers via the 30-pin connector. I've tried several different speaker systems, but none work. My iPod freezes after making my song selection and doesn't do anything until after rebooting. Even then, it just goes through the same cycle if I select another song. My iPod is 100% functional until I try to plug it in to an external speaker system.
Keep in mind that it worked up until iOS 3.1.3.

Sounds like iOS 4 broke the compatibility with your accessory, something that sometimes happens with major OS changes. Your only hope is to see if the accessory manufacturer has an update to make it compatible with iOS 4, or downgrade your Touch back to 3.1.3.

macbook air runs hot and makes noise like processor running hard when connected to display - even when not actively using air book

You could use the free tool iStat Pro to see what changes when you connect your MBA to the display. Without doing anything the CPU pane should show a high percentage for "Idle". If the idle value is too low, launch the Activity Monitor and sort by CPU usage. There is a pane showing the different temperatures of your computer. Watch them for a few minutes after connecting the display.

  • Cannot run Forms

    Hi
I just installed Oracle 9i Developer Suite and 9i database rel 2...I am able to connect to the database from form builder and develop forms and compile them...However, I am not able to run the form module...I get the following error "The http listener is not running..Please start the listener or check your runtime preferences." How do i solve this?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Webforms always run through the forms server on your OC4J web container. So you have to start it before you can run your forms, even if you run them via Forms Builder.
How to start working with webforms is all documented, but I'll very briefly summarize it here, so you can embark your webforms adventure.
First you have to configure the forms server. 2 files are involved (both located in $devsuite_home\forms90\server):
    1. default.env, the 'registry' for the forms server. Add your FORMS90_PATH in here, so the server can find your modules.
    2. formsweb.cfg, the configuration for the forms server. In here you can enter your starting form module, connection to the database, etc, etc.
    - Assuming you're on Windows, start your OC4J from the Start menu -> Programs -> Oracle Developer Suite - 9i/10g -> Forms Developer -> Start OC4J instance.
    - A DOS-box will appear (don't close it!) stating that the OC4J is running.
    - Check that's the forms server is working by browsing to http://localhost:8889/forms90/f90servet. A welcome screen appears if all is well. If nothing happens your port is different. Verify this in file $devsuite_home\j2ee\DevSuite\config\default-web-site.xml
    - In Forms Builder, save your modules to a location that's on the FORMS90_PATH.
    - Run the module. If nothing happens go to Preferences in the forms menu and on the runtime tab, enter the URL of the forms server.
    Success.

  • Cannot Run Forms on Windows 7

I followed all the instructions indicated on Note 1292919.1. The form will run and ask to download the latest Java Plug in. So I know it is not pointing to Jinitiator. The Java Plug in was installed as indicated in note 1292919.1 before running the form. It appears that it is not finding the JRE when running the form.
Oracle suggestion per the below document is to
The example above assumes that a virtual directory called JRE has been setup in the webserver's config files (one way of doing that is to add this line to the httpd.cfg file: AliasMatch ^/forms/jinitiator/(..*) "D:\Oracle\product\FRHome_1/jre/$1")
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/documentation/forms-jre-131772.pdf
Problem is their is NO httpd.cfg file and I have downloaded the webserver. I wonder do they read the shit they recommend.

I wonder do they read the shit they recommend. As you didn't indicate anything regarding version or installation type I guess you have a Developer Suite 10gR2 installed, and you are right that there is no httpd.conf in your installation as iDS doesn't come with a Apache (but the Application Server does).
The aliasmatch would be there to be able to download and install the JRE the first time you are accessing the forms application and have no java installed. On your development machine you could omit this by installing the JRE Version you want yourself, and configure the formsweb.cfg like mentioned in the document. On the Application Server however the httpd.conf is available, and you could declare an aliasmatch like mentioned in the document. If you insist on doing that in your developer suite too, then there is a possibility to do that in OC4J. Edit the file
    $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee\DevSuite\application-deployments\forms\formsweb\orion-web.xmland add e.g.
<virtual-directory virtual-path="/your_alias/" real-path="absolute_path" />Then restart OC4J. As said this is only for comfort and not necessary to actually run forms with the sun jpi, so I wouldn't pay much attention to it in development.

  • Cannot Load Webpages when connected thru router, works fine without router

I just purchased an imac (intel duo) and have not been able to surf the web when it is connected to my Cable Modem thru a Linksys Wired Router. All the WinXP systems on the same network (wired or wireless) have no problems. I can get the dashboard widgets and do ping/trace/etc when connected thru the router. The problem is that web pages are very slow to load, if at all. Most pages, including apple.com, partially load and then freeze Safari. Turning off the imac firewall in systems preferences or clearing Safari cache made no difference. When I connect the imac to the cable modem directly, with imac firewall on and locked down, I have no problem surfing or accessing features such as the Itunes store. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I will say that Linksys Routers are notorious for being subpar. My suggestions would be to disconnect the router and cable modem and turn off the computer (and everything).
    Then, wait fifteen minutes.
Then, turn on the cable modem. Let it go through all its blinky phases, then turn on the router. Wait at least three minutes for ole' cranky to wake up. Now turn on your Mac.
This is what you have to do when a router forms a bad DHCP client lease.
An alternate first step would be to manually enter your own IP address that's the same everything except make up a 200 range number and throw it in for Z on the equation before .*..Z.
E.G.: if your DHCP address is 192.168.3.43, make up your own ending and manually enter it. 192.168.43.200. Set the router as x.x.x.1 (e.g. 192.168.43.1) and SubNet as 255.255.255.0

  • Automatically disable wireless when connected to lan

automatically disable wireless when connected to lan

    Hi,
Thanks for the answer. I'm trying to deploy the profile that I've created on all my laptops. But i'm facing an issue for a while.
When the profile is deployed on a laptop, Access Connections finds a new ethernet port and asks to assign it a profile. But the problem is that Access Connection don't allow me to assign it to my wired profile, only to my wireless profile and that doesn't make sens to me. Besides, it is written in the dialogue box that ethernet profiles are disable for the match of the new port...
Is there any way to assign the new port to the new profile without human interaction or just how to make the wired profile available when access connection is launched and find a new ethernet connection
    Thanks in advance!

  • Forms 10gR2: Cannot run forms

    Hello,
Just installed 10gR2. I'm getting an error running a form inside the Builder, with the error HTTP500 "The page cannot be displayed"
    Forms Builder supplied this url:
    http://127.0.0.1:1371/vzplYafmZrLyCrLDYIa7bVXDXCMjZxwoOlJb7Y0xKBuAQKay
That url is suspicicious. So I tried to manually run the servelet by copying the the application server url from the Forms' \preferences runtime tab
    http://zaz:8889/forms/frmservlet
    This gave the error:
    Bad Gateway
    The following error occurred:
[code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL.
What could be causing this error?
    Thanks,

From your browser menu, select Tools > Internet Options.
    Click the Connections tab.
    Click LAN Settings...
Under Proxy Server, check "Use a proxy server for your LAN"
    Click Advanced...
    Add to the front of the list of proxy exceptions: localhost;127.0.0.1;
Then click OK on all 3 windows.

  • Cannot play DVDs when connected to TV

    Hi guys,
I have a first generation Titanium PowerBook G4 (400MHz). Still using System 9.2.
Anyway, the DVD player works fine in the notebook by itself. When I connect to my Sony Wega through a S-video cable, I can see the desktop but the DVD player won't fire up. Keeps giving me an error message about thr video card not supporting the resolution or something like that (Sorry, I cannot be more precise. It happened late last night).
This is the first time I have tried to connect the Powerbook to a TV, so I don't know whether I am doing anything wrong. I tried playing around with the resolution, but that did not seem to solve the problem. Also any recommendations of what audio cord I should be using to connect to my audio inputs on the TV.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rajneesh

    Rajneesh,
I have tried to use the Titanium Powerbook G4, running 9.1, to play DVDs on a TV. One of the posts said this may not be a good idea, so maybe you don't want to do this, but here is my experience.
I was using my mother's computer, and I don't have it with me, so I can't double-check that what I think worked was actually what did work, but I can tell you what I did and how far I got with it.
Like you, I was able to get the desktop on the TV. I could either mirror it (so the laptop and the TV had the same desktop) or use it the TV to extend the Mac desktop.
I got the message you mention when I fired up the DVD. I trried changing the resolution, and I thought I got it to
work that way, but later it seemed not to work. Then I got it working by turning off the mirroring. So when the two screens were separate, not mirrored, the DVD would play.
I wish I could tell you that it played on the TV, but it didn't. Because my mother was so impatient with me and the computer at this point, I gave up fiddling and we just watched the DVD. But I think that with a little more fiddling, I could have moved the DVD picture over to the TV (for example, maybe I could have just grabbed it and moved it to the TV).
    Good luck to you,
    Nancy

  • Cannot run form

    Hi everybody
I have windows XP installed on my pc. I have installed oracle 11g database and oracle developer suite 10g. I also have installed latest version of JRE. I started services oracleTNSlistener & oracleserviceORCL. I also started the OC4J instance. Compilation of form is successful but when I try to run it, it gives the following error:
    Network Error (tcp_error)
A communication error occurred: "Connection refused"
The Web Server may be down, too busy, or experiencing other problems preventing it from responding to requests. You may wish to try again at a later time.
For assistance, contact your network support team.
Please guide me to solve this problem

If it indicates "Connecting" and you see the spinning IE logo, this means it is attempting to download, extract and install the configured JRE (or Jinitiator). You can do this manually to bypass this automated process. The easiest way to do this correctly the first time is to attempt running a form again. Once you see the blank white session and you think nothing else is happening, right mouse click on the page and select View Source. Within the source you will see which version of the JRE or Jinitiator has been configured. Determine the exact version and manually install it. Once installed, your form will run. Look closely at the CLSID as it will indicate the version you need to be using (this can be changed in formsweb.cfg).
If, for example you wanted to use the Sun JRE, version 1.6.0_23, you would see parameter value something like this in the html source:
    clsid:CAFEEFAC-0016-0000-0023-ABCDEFFEDCBA
Notice that the version (1.6.0_23) makes up the above enter. If you make changes to formsweb.cfg, be sure you change all related entries. Do not simply change the CLSID. There are other obvious entries related to the JRE (or Jinitiator) which would need to be changed.

  • Dynamic partitioned Hard Driver cannot be accessed when connected by USB 3.0 Enclosure

    Hi Guys,
    Here is my issue.
There is a 2TB SATA Hard Drive, formatted to NTFS with 64KB chunk size blocks. The partition type is dynamic.
I removed the drive from a system and brought it to another location.
This time is is connected via USB 3.0 enclosure, which I know it works and it was tried with different hard drives with no issue.
The Windows is 8.1. It sees the disk but cannot Reactivate it. It shows the reactivate option, but when you select it you see a message:
    Virtual Disk Manager
This operation is not allowed on the invalid disk pack.
    OK
I understand that USB dynamic disks might not be supported, but the scenario above is valid.
My question is how to bring the partition online using USB enclosure?
Is there a registry workaround or other which involves no data loss?
It is very pity not to allow using USB 3.0 when you have a dynamic partition. I do not see any physical limitations to do so.
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,
As I known, whether the USB enclosure can identify the dynamic hard drive, it depends on the USB driver and USB specification.
But to make your computer recognize this hard drive well, we have the workaround to change it to basic disk type:

Hi, this bug is old, but it has useful info for VPNs
    See for reference Bug 702111
And there are built in features on the about:config file that you can tweak the number of connections and allowing pipe lining: [http://support.vpnsecure.me/articles/ssh-tunnelling-proxy-troubleshooting/tweaking-firefox-for-best-performance-security Third party information on these connections]
Other suggestions I have seen are to add bookmarks while logged into either vpn. (For example, bookmark the frequent sites you use in either vpn in separate folders)
In Firebug, when you connect or refresh the page when moving from one VPN to the other, do you see a termination in the connection to the first vpn?
