  • Cannot run project

    Not even an empty project, every time I select Run Project, I get an error message that basically says that cannot find the html file for it. Everything seems to be in place, the mxml, libs, tec. but the html page for the project never gets created.
    How can I get that html to be created?
    Thanks.

    More information on this one...
    When I hit Ctrl+F11, shoertcut for Run, a 'Run As' dialog windo pops-up with two options, 'FlexUnit Test' and 'Web Application. I select 'Web Application', then click on 'OK' and then an error message pops-up saying... 'File not found: file:/C:Users.....test2.html'.
    The name test2 is how I named the project.
    I am on Windows Vista running Flash Builder plug-in 4.0.1 build 277662 on Eclipse Version: Helios Service Release 1.
    Any idea anyone?
    Thanks.

  • Cannot run project - Cannot find config file bc4j.xcfg (9.0.5.2)

    Hi all,
    I've gotten myself in a situation and can't find my way out. I've got a project that does not use any business components. Just as a test, I created a business component (View Object, I think - can't remember for sure), and then deleted it and another file or two associated with the object shortly thereafter. Now, whenever I try to run the project (F11), I get the following error:
    oracle.jbo.JboException: JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /com/my/package/datamodel/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath

    I am assuming the error is related to the business object that is no longer there. My guess is that there is some reference somewhere that is telling JDev that there are business components associated with this project. I just can't find where that reference is (or my assumption is wrong ;) ).
    Does my project need the bc4j.xcfg file if it does not use any business components? Can anyone provide any guidance?
    Thanks for any help,
    Andy

    Thanks for the reply. I looked at the link supplied but didn't see how that could help me. Could you provide a little detail regarding what I need to do or where I need to look?
    And I want to make clear that I do not have and do not want any ADF components in my project at this time. I am simply looking to get my non-ADF project running locally as it used to do before I added and then deleted a component.
    Thanks,
    Andy

  • Running a J2EE project on WAS at a regular interval

    I am going create a EJB project to poll (or check) any change in a DB and do some business logic or mapping everytime when the DB is changed. So, my question is how I can configure this project to run at a regular interval, says 5 mins?
    Since my WebSphere is running on J2EE 1.3 so I cannot use Timer approach which is available on EJB running on J2EE 1.4.
    Also, no client is needed to invoke the program, meaning that there is no client to call the remote interface of EJB

    Ok, you have your servlet defined, but now you should map it using mapping tags. Try editing your web.xml file as follows (adding mapping):
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <web-app xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" version="2.4" xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-app_2_4.xsd">
      <display-name>EmpDtlsWarDisp</display-name>
      <servlet>
        <display-name>EmpDtlsWebDisp</display-name>
        <servlet-name>EmpDtlsWebComp</servlet-name>
        <servlet-class>tshot.EmpDtls</servlet-class>
      </servlet>
      <servlet-mapping>
        <servlet-name>EmpDtlsWebComp</servlet-name>
        <url-pattern>/EmpDtls</url-pattern>
      </servlet-mapping>
    </web-app>Note the adding of "tshot." in front of your EmpDtls in your servlet-class tag.
    This means you need to create a directory in your src location called "tshot", move your EmpDtls.java into the new directory, and then edit that java file, placing the following line at the top of it:
    package tshot;Once you have re-built and re-deployed this you should be able to access your servlet at:
    http://localhost:8080/EmpDtlsCx/EmpDtls
    Refactoring is a term used to mean you've decided to change the name of a variable, method or some alteration of your java file such as changing package names (or adding to a package in this case) whereby the results may or may not affect other classes which depend on this class. Typically, nowadays refactoring is usually done by selecting a refactoring command from a menu item or button within an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) whereby the IDE performs all of the dependancy checking for you and copies the change to affected areas where necessary. Thus, all you need to do is choose the right refactoring operation and click "Ok" in most cases. In the old days, you would have to keep track of all affected areas and manually edit where necessary, based on your imposed change.

    Hi,
    I am noticing a problem when running the FOD application, which though not severe, I just thought I will run it by all you experts out here.
    When the application opens in the browser, I am unable to see any of the pictures / photos of the products being displayed....they all show that red-crossed-error thing.
    Just today I noticed that an error is also getting generated during the application execution:
    [java] SEVERE: Error initializing the JMX FRamework SPI "oracle.as.jmx.framework.standardmbeans.spi.JMXFrameworkProviderImpl"
    [java] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
    [java]      at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method)
    [java]      at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39)
    Anybody knows what this can be about and how to resolve the same?
    I saw the comment above which refers to cleaning up the deployment folder, and I searched my d:\oracle\middleware folder for any folder named drs, but nothing showed up.
    Being new to jdeveloper, can someone please tell me the exact steps to fix this error please?
    Regards,
    Hemant

  • Cannot run a servlet in the IDE.

    please help with this problem..
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay
    You need to create the servlets under WEB-INF->classes tree.
    Here is the structure of a simple web module shown in FIle System tab of IDE
    -/export/home/JSEApps/MyApp
    -- WEB-INF -->classes-->mypackage-->MyServlet
    -- MyJsp
    Once you created and compiled the servlets like this, right click on WEB-INF folder in the IDE and change the context root property to /myapp . Again right click on WEB-INF and deploy.
    Now you can access the servlet with http://server:port/myapp/servlet/ MyServlet
    Check the documentation @ http://docs.sun.com/source/817-2334/index.html on how to build web componets.
    check this for complete documentation. http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/coll/790.6
    Check few samples @ http://developer.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jsenterprise/learning/tutorials/index.html
    Let me know if you need more.
    Thanks

  • Word 2007 AddIn Cannot Run on Windows XP SP3 + Office 2007

    Hi All,
    I faced an issue regarding our Word 2007 AddIn cannot run on Office 2007 + WinXP SP3.
    I developed a Word 2007 AddIn using VS 2010. The addin works fine on Win7 + Office 2007. But It cannot run in Word 2007 in WinXP.
    I have tried the following testing.
    1. I rebuild a new WinXP environment + Office 2007 + VS 2010. No antivirus in my machine. I create the Word 2007 AddIn using VS 2010. But unfortunately, it cannot run in my WinXP machine. it's very strange.
    2. I rebuild a new Win7 environment + Office 2007 + VS 2010. No antivirus in my machine, and the same steps with previous. it runs fine.
    3. I noticed that, if I debug the Word AddIn Project using VS 2010 In XP, it cannot run into debug mode. I checked the Word Options
    I have highlight the test addins it always uncheck. If I checked it, when I reopen Word. it will change to uncheck status.
    And the addins always in Inactive Application Addin group.
    @All guys, How to solve this issue? It's very very strange.
    Thanks a lot for your help.
    Regards,

    Hello Ricky,
    First of all, I'd suggest checking the Trust Center settings in Outlook. Then take a look at the Disabled Items list. Is your add-in listed there?
    Microsoft Office applications can disable add-ins that behave unexpectedly. If an application does not load your add-in when you try to debug it, the application might have hard disabled or soft disabled your add-in.
    Hard disabling can occur when an add-in causes the application to close unexpectedly. It might also occur on your development computer if you stop the debugger while the Startup event
    handler in your add-in is executing.
    Soft disabling can occur when an add-in produces an error that does not cause the application to unexpectedly close. For example, an application might soft disable an add-in if it throws an unhandled exception while the Startup event
    handler is executing.
    When you re-enable a soft-disabled add-in, the application immediately attempts to load the add-in. If the problem that initially caused the application to soft disable the add-in has not been fixed, the application will soft disable the add-in
    again.
    You can read more about that in the
    How to: Re-enable an Add-in That Has Been Disabled article in MSDN.

    I want to run "Start Modeler" in BI Integrated Planning transaction, but I got a error called "Cannot find a J2EE Engine". Does anyone have any idea to deal with it?
    I will assign reward points for useful comments or answers, thanks in advance.

    Hi,

  • "Xcode cannot run using the selected device" for no apparent reason.

    EDIT: It was just because I hadn't told Xcode to use my iPhone for development... I thought I had already done that. I also had to wait a few minutes after enabling it for development for it to actually work.
    I'm using Xcode 5 and an iPhone 5 for development. I made an app ID with the ID "com.myname.agreementfinder". Then I made a development provisioning profile linked to that app ID. In my developer provisioning profile dashboard, it clearly says that the app ID is "com.myname.agreementfinder". I downloaded the provisioning profile and put it on my iPhone using the Xcode organizer, no problems. So now I have a profile in my organizer that has the app identifier "U2M9******.com.myname.agreementfinder" (part of it censored). Not sure what that weird number at the beginning is, but my other profiles have one too.
    I have a project with the bundle identifier "com.myname.agreementfinder" and deployment target iOS 7.0 on iPhone, so it should work with that, right? Actually, the project was renamed from "FBFun". Well Xcode keeps saying that it can't run it on there because "No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS version." I wish it would say which, invalid version or no provisioning profile
    How should I fix this? It seems like everything is already fine, yet it won't work. Could it be that renaming the project caused problems?

    I did. I did "Product -> Clean", it replied : "Clean vog_x20_new: Succeeded" and then I did "Product -> Build", and it replied "Build vog_x20_new: Succeeded".
    Ok, so I may have misunderstood my own problem. It's not a compilation problem. But, I still have the same message when I try to run the program (i.e. "Xcode cannot run using the selected destination").
    So it seems that I can build the project but I cannot run it.
    Here is a screenshot of the error windows
    So what should I do next ?
    Thanks for you attention and help.

    I might be doing some programming for my company soon
    which will require a program to monitor a database
    and whenever there is a change to certain fields, it
    must copy certain fields into another database. When I see "whenever thiere is a change to certain fields" I tend to think "triggers" - but maybe this won't work for you 'cause of the "another database" part. And the fact that triggers are inherently evil.

    require the JRE to be on the machine? It depends on how you did the conversion. If you compile to native then no, if you just wrap up a JRE then yes.
    Why I ask is
    that I occasionally get asked to do small development
    projects for my company, but we are a microsoft
    partner and therefore do all the development in C#
    and the like. So I would like to just implement as
    many things in Java as I can, just to show everyone
    that Java can do exactly what C# can do. But its
    difficult to convince people of this since I always
    require the JRE and they dont. Of course, they require the .NET framework and you don't. And last I looked that thing was around 23 Meg.

  • Aperture - cannot run 2 computers on 1 network

    I cannot run both my powerbook and iMac on the same network, with the same serial number at the same time. The one started second complains and quits. If I come home and open up the powerbook it will quit on me, which ***** badly.
    The Apple license specifically states that I am allowed to run Aperture on a desktop and a notebook both owned by me. Yet the software protection was not really informed about this.
    Can I get a second serial number or a fix to allow this behaviour?
    This is Aperture 1.1 btw.

    I'd appreciate it if someone could post instructions for using LittleSnitch or the Apple built-in firewall to block these license requests.
    I have a copy of Aperture on my desktop computer and one on my laptop.
    My workflow is that I export projects from my desktop machine, load them on to my laptop so I can work on them while in transit, and then export them back from the laptop to the desktop machine. A typical instance of when I have Aperture running on both the laptop and the desktop machine would be when I get home, am working in Aperture on the desktop, and realize I need to transfer projects from the laptop to the desktop. If Aperture didn't have the license check code, I would leave Aperture running on the desktop, go over to the laptop, launch Aperture, leave the project export running while I do some work on the desktop copy of Aperture, import the project into the desktop Aperture library and then quit the laptop copy of Aperture. My workflow with the license block is that I need to quit the desktop copy of Aperture, go to the laptop, launch Aperture, export the library, find something else to do for 15-20 minutes, check the laptop every 5 minutes or so to see when it's done, quit Aperture on the laptop, reload Aperture on the desktop and then finally import the exported project. It's clumsy to say the least.
    The license specifically allows me to install and run the software on both my desktop and laptop. Using the software in the way that I want would be squarely within my license rights, but it's blocked by undocumented functionality in the application.
    Thanks much in advance.

    Dear Rudy,
    Indeed, could you please try the following suggestions:
    In the Internet Explorer, go to : Tools->Internet Options-> Security->Custom Level, in section “Download”, check if the option “Automatic prompting for file downloads“ is enabled
    In Excel, go to Excel Options-> Trust Center-> Trust Center Settings-> Macro Settings: check the
    options “Disable all macros except digitally signed macros” and "Trust access to the VBA project object model"
