Cannot save a completed copy of adobe forms

Hi experts,
i was developing a simple Adobe form with a drop down list. When saving that form on local system ad then opening it , I tried changing the valve in drop down list it gives me a pop-up as
"You cannot save the completed copy of this form on your computer."
is there any setting to be donw to the form.

I guess you have already found the problem: you cannot save the file if your reader rights are down == your form has not been generated as interactive and no licence has been attached. Otto

I created a PDF form in Acrobat Pro X and i am trying to distribute it by placing it on our shared drive so employees can take it from there and save it to their own computer.
I tested the form with some employees that have Reader. Some can open it, save it, fill it in and submit it and others get this message when opening it:
You cannot save a completed copy of this form to your computer. If you would like a copy for your records please fill it in and print it.
I read some discussions that said to convert it to a binder, that didnt work either. i tried going to the advanced tab and extending the features to reader...nothing works.
Please help.

Thank you for your help George. I placed a ticket with our IT department to have them check the system time on her machine. I'll let you know if it worked.

I cannot save data typed into an Adobe form sent to me..??

I have been sent an Adobe Form that is a Tender Document that I need to complete. When I open the Document is states in the top left-hand corner the following...."Please fill out the following form. You cannot save data typed into this form.
Please print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records."

What does the creator of the file need to do to make the form fillable? OR is there a program Bob8527 can download to fill in the form and email?

Cannot save file as pdf from adobe form central

I cannot longer save file as pdf or excel once it downloads from adobe form central, can someone please help me as I have a whole hosts of applications waiting to be downloaded

I have created an editable form which cannot be saved as a completed copy by adobe reader users.

I have a created an editable form in indesign and acrobat, however when other users open up the form and fill it in they cannot save the completed copy. It comes up with that the user needs to click done signing, however there is no done signing button in adobe reader.

Unless they're using Reader XI then you have to first apply a special right in Acrobat that allows them to save the filled-in form in Reader.
The exact location of this command depends on your version of Acrobat.

Hey,
Instead of copying the Adobe Form,
First try to save the form on your desktop.
Open the form with Adobe Live Cycle Designer.
Click on XML Source tab.
Copy the XML Source.
Now create a new empty form in Adobe Live Cycle Designer.
Click on XML Source tab.
Select the XML Source.
delete the XML Source.
And now paste the XML Source what you have copied previously.
Hope this is better instead of copy.

When I want to save pdf, it says "save a blank copy of this form". How can I save the pdf?

We created a report in the ADOBE interactive form. The report consists of data from ERP 6.0. and there is a column where we need to enter some information explaining the data. The ADOBE from allows us to enter the information and print it, but we cannot save it. It seems strange. We found out that the interactive form includes the following components: Starter Kit, Enable the Enterprise and Additional forms Bundles. The Help says that we need to buy the license for the one of above components, but it doesn't explain the main functionality of them. Which component should we buy (and it is enough) for saving our document in the ADOBE interactive form?

you must required the credntial instalation file during the configuration of ADS if you don't have credential file then plz read the notes no. 736902 on OSS.

Well, you'll need something other than Adobe Reader to make a PDF. CHeck online for some free tools if you don't want to plop down some cash.

Copying standard Adobe Form to Z-form

Hello All,
I want to copy the expanse form PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM to ZPTRV_EXPENSE_FORM.
I did the following steps:
- I copied the Interface (PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM) to my Z-interface (ZPTRV_EXPENSE_FORM)
- I created a new form (ZPTRV_EXPENSE_FORM) based in my Z-interface.
- I copied the XML layout of standard form (PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM) and pasted it in the XML code of my Z-form.
- Then I saved.
The layout seems to be the same but the problem is that the context node is empty and was not copied from standard formu2026
How to get this context from the standard one?

The proposed solution is to restart the HTTP Provider service from within the Visual Administrator.
I was working in a test environment.
I tested it now in development environment and it works fine.

Dynamic pdf up to 200 images, the size of pdf is larger, cannot save data and images to the form

My client would like to dynamic images up to 200 pictures to my forms. It is working fine. However, when I add images up to 35 images. I could not add images to the form any more. Then, I save data on the form. All images and data typed on the form are disappeared. I don't know reason.
If I only add 10 images - I can save data and images on the form. The size of pdf is 15456 kb. I was unable to add more pictures or data on the form.
Maybe there are problem the size of pdf? How much size can an dynamic pdf limited?
Can we save the information and images as much as we want?
I have spent 2 weeks to work and try to figure out this problem. However it is not successful.

You should ensure, that your users do not import big images.
Therefore you can use a script on the change event of an image field which checks the data size and warns the user if the file is too big.

Just completed a clean install of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and the Adobe Application Manager does not work and cannot install a fresh copy from Adobe

Just re-installed a fresh copy of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and somehow the Adobe Application Manager does not work and therefore cannot verify my copy. What should I do?
I get a message saying that Adobe Application Manager may be damaged and that I should install a new version of AAM. But after downloading a fresh copy of AAM and doing the install, the program (AAM) still will not install. It is like an infinite loop!

I'm sorry but I am not on Creative Cloud. I'm still on CS6 and it was the Adobe Application Manager that wasn't working and I could not install the update to this application. My AAM version is: 8.0.0160
The link you provided was the update that I wanted to install but it does not work. A window shows up during that install that says:
We've encountered the following issues.
Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
and then the link to the Adobe Support Advisor which leads to a "Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued" page.

Data typed into this form will not be saved. Adobe Reader can only save a blank copy of this form.

This message is new. I have never had this issue before on my system. 3 days ago I created a PDF using LiveCycle Designer ES2 at my office - exactly like I have done for the past 2 years - and now I get this message when I try to open the PDF on my home system. I have always been able to work with these files until today. Yesterday I installed Office 365 and now I apparently have Reader XI on my system. Now every form I was able to open in the past will not allow data to save. What's the deal?

This is all odd as this form is designed explicity with digital signatures, and has always worked; hundreds of people have used this form extensively since late 2012, and I have tested it hundreds of times - it has always worked, never had this issue. Unfortunately every PC in my home has Reader XI installed as of today (no Standard or Pro versions) and I will have to hunt for PCs that have only Reader (no Pro or Standard) at work.

Cannot save checked radio buttons in pdf forms

I am using form 1023 from the IRS which has a series of "yes" and "no" radio buttons that need to be checked. The problem is that each time I check my responses and save the pdf, it opens with my filled info still intact (i.e. my name, etc...), but none of the boxes are checked.
Help, please?
