Cannot save form with Windows Vista and Adobe Reader 8

I have many forms created with Adobe Livecycle Designer 8. Users who have upgraded to Windows Vista can no longer save these forms. Any ideas?

I don't have Vista, but in XP I have found deleting the printer driver
and re-installing sometimes works.

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. The recommendation here would be to fix these inconsistencies and try again. If that doesn't solve the issue, please follow steps mentioned in email by me.

I resolved my issue! The new app format with windows 8 takes time to master. The adobe reader does not have a friendly toolbar. No print function on the bottom tool bar when all other actions except printing are noted. I finally decided to check my main side tool bar and there was my printer seeing the adobe file and ready to print. So I resolved my issue but very much appreciate your reaching out to help me. I am using a Linksys router supporting draft-N; it seems that after some time of usage; Windows Vista stop being able to connect to Linksys using a WPA-2 PSK.
Everytime you search for the SSID and attempt to connect, the ''network is taking too long to connect''' and Windows always informs the user that ''limited or no connectivity'' even though the signal strength is excellent.

Protools 8 compatiblity with Windows Vista and which proper audio interface?

O K i have a compaq presario pc notebook with a cpu of 2.16 ghz and 160 gb(?) hard drive with 32 bit w/ Window Vista service pack 1. I've done a little research and it seems my computer may be compatible but i'm not sure Is ne one using pt 8 with windows vista with no problems? also i'm not so sure about which audio interface i should be using psi, firewire,or usb even though i have 2 usb ports im hearing its not the best choice dealing with latency and all. Well my take would be that your rig would run Pro Tools 8 but you might struggle with the latency a bit. I ran Pro Tools LE on a PC (with significantly lower specs than yours since it was 3 years old at the time) with a Digi 002 as my firewire interface and I did have issues with latency, which is my biggest pet peeve. That was also on the XP Operating System so you might be better off with Vista SP1. I would recommend going with the Digi 003 via firewire and maxing out your RAM for best results. USB would definitely be slower and might be a cause for latency if you run into it.
That's my opinion. Digidesign has a pretty in-depth site for making sure your system will run Pro Tools. I'm sure you've already checked it out but just in case:

I have a separate thread going using the hardware accelleration that comes with the Intel Mobile 965 Express Chipset not working
for me, and trying to figure out how to get OpenGL and 3d features of Photoshop CS6 to work.
So, I was thinking maybe a work-around. Are there supported PCMCIA card graphics accelerators that anyone could recommend
that would work with Windows 7 and interface via PCMCIA that meet the requirements to be used with Adobe CS6?

I'm experiencing a problem with Database connectivity toolkit and Microsoft Jet 4.0 provider (MS ACCESS mdb database).
I was able to get my application to work properly on my PC: WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL, VERSION 2002, SERVICE PACK 3 and Msjet40.dll ver. 4.0.9511.0 (Windows XP SP3 and Security Bullettin MS08-028).
The same connectivity toolkit seems to have problems (although I didn't get any error dialog) on a laptop with WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE, SERVICE PACK 2 and Msjet40.dll ver. 4.0.9755.0.
Does anyone have an idea whether it is a sort of compatibility issue or a different thing?
Would it be possible to include my DLLs into the installer in such a way LabVIEW application calls those DLLs instead of the ones it finds on the host PC?

I ran into this with Windows7 64 but, could not get the jet 4.0 to work. Endnd up dumping access and used sql server express, its free, and all my code worked fine, just used a different UDL to connect. I wasted lots of time trying to find a way of getting the jet4.0 to work with 64bit windows.

Home Sharing Between Mac and PC with Windows Vista and Wireless Ethernet

Hello.
I want to ask if anyone knows what is the problem.
I have Home Sharing Activated in my two computers and File Sharing Activated too.
My MacBook Pro has iTunes 10 and Snow Leopard all updated and my PC has Windows Vista and iTunes 10.
My MacBook Pro is connected to my network wirelessly and my PC is connected by the Ethernet Cable.
Anyone can help?

since you don't describe the problem in detail, see if something here helps:
what you want to see in iTunes is this (view from my MBP's iTunes seeing the library on my Mini)
if you then click on the house icon, it will change to this and the shared library will load. at that point, two buttons will appear in the lower right corner of the iTunes window, being settings and import
now you should be able to import any content from any shared library by selecting the content and clicking on import.
if the icon looks like this , home sharing has not been set up correctly.
in order for home sharing to work
(a) iTunes on all machines must be authorized for the same iTunes store account
(b) all machines must be on the same network
(c) all machines must have access to the internet.
if none of the above makes a difference, try turning home sharing off on all computers, then turning it back on.

I downloaded HP bing bar in my laptop with windows vista and IE9 64 bit Nothing happens

After i downloaded Bing bar and clicked the activation for smart print nothing happens. It shows that the bar and smart print have been downloaded and htey are in the list of add-ons but the bar does not show
On the contrary I have an old desktop with windows XP and IE8 i did the same and the bar and the smart print icon shows and work
What is the problem with the laptop which is the one I use the most and take it with me when I tavel?

Windows 7 and Adobe Reader X

For some years I've been able to download my Internet bank statements with the use of Adobe Reader and this worked fine up until a few months ago. Now, when I try to open the pdf file whilst still on-line with the bank (Dutch by the way!) I keep getting a screen message telling me to open Adobe Actobat first and sign the end user license agreement. I would if I could but I can't!! I can FIND the end user license agreement to read but can't find a way to click on a button which says 'I agree'. Can anyone point me in the right direction of should I bin everything (bin = delete and uninstall) and start all over again?

Cannot sync with Windows Vista and BB 7105t

I was using Windows XP and everything worked great. Now I have Vista and cannot sync. I open the BB Desktop Manager and it says my device is disconnected. I am plugged in to a USB port, tried two different ones and makes no difference. Thus when I go to Synchronize, the Sync or Configure PIM are not available. Also when I just plug into my computer to charge, I get a message "USB charge current is not suffigient. . . . " However, it does charge, just a little more slowly than with my XP computer. Any suggestions?

Here is what you need to do.
Use this procedure to cleanly uninstall the DM you have loaded:

Cold boot the PC after de-install and :
Install with these Vista condierations:
1. Right-Click on Command Prompt in Start Menu and choose Run as Administrator
2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Research in Motion\Blackberry\IS71 Connectors\MS Outlook Connector by typing: c:\> cd program files\research in motion\blackberry\is71 connectors\ms outlook connector
3. Then type in the command prompt, type: regsvr32 MsOutlookConnector.fil
4. If the registration is successful, the following message displays:
DllRegisterSErver in msoutlookconnector.fil succeeded.
5. Close and open Blackberry Desktop Manager to perform the synchronization process again and Outlook will be in the list...
If you receive the error message DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005 - you do not have admin rights. So, it's important that you run command prompt as admin.

Now go to your carriers blackberry software site, get the correct device OS and make sure the app loaded can find it.

That is potentially your problem right there. You should never have more than one version installed. They will fight over the resources if you have more than one.
First suggestion would be to remove both and install only one to see if that clears up your issue.

Some users may experience random blue screen errors with ThinkPad

I just wonder if this purely a Vista issue when using NV cache, the disk spinning down at almost exactly 1 hour from the beginning of the chdsk operation seems too much of a coincidence.
