Cannot save multiple usernames and passwords

Just upgraded to version 9.0, but it no longer allows me to have multiple usernames and passwords for the same site. I've removed them in privacy to enable saving once again, but still I can only save one.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you on is stored in a cookie that you need to keep by creating an allow exception.

I have a request from a cutomer to run a script to create multiple username and password on ACS5.3 Appliance. Does anyone has any suggestion on how to go about this?

Have you tried using the import option on the ACS? You can put all your accounts in a csv file and upload it into the ASA.

If that doesnt work you can use the REST Web Services in ACS also:

  • DW 11.0.4 won't save site usernames and passwords

After upgrading to 11.0.4, usernames and passwords vanished for all of my sites. I re-entered, tested and they all worked properly. But the next time I opened DW, they were blank again. Any help would be appreciated as I maintain several non-profit sites.

Hi, gatorf8. Welcome to the Adobe user-to-user forums!
I am sorry to hear you are having this issue, and I would like to help you get this sorted.
Since installing the 11.0.4 update, have you completely restarted your computer?
If you do so, your login credentials should re-appear as they were before updating.

  • Can I save my username and password to login to a wifi network on a pop-up window?

At my college, we have two ways to loging to the wifi. Either directly on the browser, or an annoying pop up window comes up. What I want to do is either stop the pop up window entirely, (preferrable) or save my password to the pop up window.
Also, this pop up window only seems to occur for me. None of my friends get it.

  • Safari doesn't save my Vodafone username and password

    Hello,
In preparation for iCloud Keychain, I am moving all of my logins out of RoboForm and into Safari.
However, Safari doesn't offer to save my username and password for Vodafone.co.uk, which is one of my most frequently visited sites.
I was having the same problem with my PayPal account, but the Lap Cats AutoComplete extension fixed it. Still no luck with Vodafone, though.
The Vodafone login page is here:
    https://www.vodafone.co.uk/myvodafone/faces/oracle/webcenter/portalapp/pagehiera rchy/Page1.jspx#%40%3F_adf.ctrl-state%3Dma4he7lca_9.
I do have the preferences set to Autofill usernames and passwords - it does work for most sites - Amazon, Play.com etc.
I have all software updates from Apple so Safari 6.0.5, on Mountain Lion.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

However, Safari doesn't offer to save my username and password for Vodafone.co.uk, which is one of my most frequently visited sites.
First on Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Passwords
Delete the vodafone website url if you see it there. Don't worry if it's not in the list.
Open Keychain Access located in HD > Applications > Utilties
Select Passwords on the left. Then type vodafone in the search field top right corner of the window.
Delete saved vodafone keychains by control clicking the keychain then click Delete.
Back to Safari. Navigate to the vodafone website. Enter your user name and password as usual. Click Yes when prompted to save your password to a new keychain.
Do the same for any other sites that won't save passwords.

  • Usernames and passwords

Hey I have been really wanting to add an interface were users can create multiple usernames and passwords on my iweb page instead of the password protect feature that only allows 1 username and pass. is this possible?

You create .htaccess with a text edit application. It's a file with rules for the folder you place it in your server. First off you need to create the file. Since files that start with a "." (period) are hidden OS files in OSX they can not be created in Text Edit. I use TextWrangler to create a text file and save as .htaccess to the Desktop which can then be uploaded to a folder on your host to create rules for the directory its placed in.
After the file has been saved as .htaccess you will not see it on your Desktop since files that begin with "." are hidden by default in OSX. You can create an automator workflow finder action that uses terminal to display and hide files that begin with "." look here for more info.
Then check out some different codes you can insert into the .htaccess file. Usually searching Google for desired_feature .htaccess will find what you're looking for. For instance if you search for password protection .htaccess like this then you can find the code and method for creating a password-protected site using .htaccess
I've never used .htaccess for iDisk and can't say for sure if it's supported for iDisk - EDIT: actually I just tried and it isn't. I should've known this already. In which case if you're using MobileMe you're left at the mercy of their available features. Sorry, man. Time to switch hosts which allow for more dynamic features?
So now the drumroll question... Where are you hosting your site? You hinted MobileMe but it's not certain. Where you host depends on what programming features, if any, are available.

  • OSS Username and Password

    Hello,
it is required username and password while using OSS on Service.sap.com. I save my username and password after first login, but while advancing it again requires username and password:( Is there anyone knowing the reason of this? and what is the solution? thanks in advance...
    Regards
    ismail KARAYAKA

Just one extra thing not mentioned in here - bear in mind that SAP.COM runs on multiple servers and you have to have your ID saved for each server if you do not use the passport method as the other replies recommend (I agree - best method!) .
However eventually if you continue to enter in your userid and password each time and save each time, all the servers will recognise you and it will prefill them for you!!
BUT use the passport method - much easier...
    Regards

  • How do I get Firefox to save a ussername and password that I didn't want saved previously?

If I previously X-ed out of the "save user name and password" option, or clicked no on it.... how do I get it back so I can now have Firefox save a username and password for that same site?
When I set up a computer at work and used it to check on personal accounts real quick, I didn't think I should save my personal info. Turns out I'm the only on using it and I can do whatever I want. The boss will only use Internet Explorer, if he uses my computer at all. And he said he doesn't care what I use it for during slow time. So, now I want to save my personal accounts info on Firefox. But how?

I had exactly the same problem with YouTube, having previously deleted an account and in the process of setting up a new one at a later date. At the time of deleting I had deleted the YouTube 'Username and Password' from Firefox but could not get it to remember the new, in fact the option to save did not even appear.
I looked in 'Exceptions' but as expected nothing was there. I then remembered that YouTube is now part of Google so went into 'Options/Security/Saved Passwords/Search for 'Google' which brought up all the different Google Usernames and Passwords, in fact some did not have Passwords, and deleted the lot. Went back into YouTube, logged in and Hey Presto was asked if I wished to retain the Username and Password.
What other Google apps I have, I already have saved Usernames and Passwords stored elsewhere so no worries about not getting into them. Seems Google can sometimes be a pain in the neck.

  • Gmail Error: Username and Password Not Accepted?

Okay, once in a while my e-mail actually works on my I phone but about 90% of the time I get this notification; Cannot Get Mail: Username and password not accepted. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? Oh yeah, I'm using 1.0.2, gmail, and I'm positive my password and username is right.

I think the problem is solved. Last night I was on my friends computer and I accidentally stored my gmail password. I couldn't figure out how to delete it so I changed my password and then updated my iPhone with the new password. Ever since then I haven't had any problems.

  • AutoFill Username and Password Question

I've tried everything I can think of. Specifically, someone using my IPad logged onto Facebook and when they did told it not to save their username and password. Now my saved username and password is not showing up when I load the main Facebook page. I'm having to enter it each time.
I've tried the "Clear All" to not avail.
    Any suggestions?

    HI Beth and welcome..
    Just to make sure...
Tap Settings / Safari / Autofill.
Where you see: Names and Passwords.
Make sure that is turned on.
If it's already turned on, tap Settings / Safari. Clear the History / Cookies and Cache.
Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
Now try logging to your Facebook.

  • Getting Pooled Connection with username and password

    hi,
I am facing problems in getting pooled connections to MYSQL
    database.I am using Tomcat server.
I tried the example given in Tomcat doc "JNDI how to", it
works fine with one set of username and password which is
given in server.xml. Now can anybody guide me thru the steps
to get pooled connections to the same database with multiple
    username and passwords.
    Thankyou all in advance

Now can anybody guide me thru the steps to get pooled
connections to the same database with multiple
username and passwords.Nope. Can't be done -- at least not that I've seen yet.
Database/JDBC driver vendors seem unconcerned, or don't
care about this scenario. I ragged on Informix years
ago for this very feature. It should would make database
admins jobs a lot easier if they could know "who" that
connection belonged to that is running the outrageous
SQL query without having to divine it by way of tracing
socket/IP connections back thru the network to some machine.
The only way I've seen to do it is to create your own
connection pool code that handles user/password connections.
-- but then the problem becomes you have a collection of
mini-pools for each user. i.e. if you have 200 users, you
end up with 200 connection pools with a couple/few connections
in each sub-pool. Kinda defeats the purpse.
So, apparently, everybody just deals with the single
    "generic" user/password connection pool.

  • I've noticed that in the new version of Firefox that you cannot save multiple tabs at one time like the previous Firefox 3.6.or so and I wanted to know if I can find that feature again?

I've noticed that in the new version of Firefox that you cannot save multiple tabs at one time like the previous Firefox 3.6.or so and I wanted to know if I can find that feature again?
In the previous versions of Firefox when you went to you Bookmarks menu it gave you the options to either Bookmark This Page 'command' + 'D', Subscribe to this Page, Bookmark All Tabs 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'D', and Organize Bookmarks 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'B' however in the newest version of Firefox there is no Bookmark All Tabs so you can bookmark all the tabs that you have up in one window at a time. So I need to know if it is possible that the feature is now in a different place, is gone altogether, or if you can get that feature another way?
For me personally and my work I go through hundreds of web pages a day and save around half of those so it is imperative that I be able to bookmark more then one tab at a time because I can't be bothered to bookmark every single page separately and then go through hundreds of tabs in my Unsorted bookmarks in order to sort those bookmarks. It is simple inconvenient to sort every bookmark individually that is why the previous version of Firefox with the Bookmark All Tabs button was superior in its convenience.

Right click any tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs".

  • How do I save more than one username and password for a site?

    <blockquote>Locking duplicate thread.<br>
    Please continue here: [[/questions/918629]]</blockquote>
I manage two online calendar accounts under one website (both account admin centers actually have their own URL but the main root of the webpage is the same). My "user ID" (which is my e-mail address) is the same for both accounts.
Firefox used to associate the user ID and password with the ENTIRE URL so, in effect, it would remember them for BOTH admin centers. Now it seems to only remember the main root webpage (www.samplepage.com instead of www.samplepage.com/adminloginA).
How do I get it to remember the ENTIRE URL instead of just the root? I need it to remember both usernames and passwords.
    Thanks!

That is not possible with the Firefox password manager. You can only save a user name and its password once for a specific domain, so if the name is the same then it doesn't work.
