Cannot save photos on iphone 5

As of June 1 I cannot save photos to my camera roll. If I "save image" from a message or facebook, they don't save to the camera roll. Also, when I take a photo with the phone the picture shows in the lower left but doesn't save to the camera roll.

Connecting to iTunes on the Computer you Usually Sync and Back Up to will prompt you to Backup and Transfer Purchases as well as ask you to Import your Photos.
Your Issue may be too many Photos in your Camera Roll.
If you like... Try This First...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... (But can take Longer..)
Release the Buttons...
If the issue persists... Try the Restore.

I see the photos tab and "My Pictures" folder shows. Sync is unselected. It asks if I want to delete the photos when I click on sync and I said yes but it didn't work. I cannot import photos from iPhone to iPhoto 11, I have delete all the pictures I captute on the iPhone yet iPhoto show me 10 picture squares that are grayed out. I tried to import these and I'm shown a message that says undeadable files 10 : The following files could not be imported. the files are in an unrecognized format.

I have detele the iPhoto cache from user/library/caches/com.apple.iPhoto but it made no difference.
Any advice is welcome.

Yes, I did solved the problem. It was not with iPhoto but with the iTunes. Once I delete my phone profile all worked. I did not write the steps down but if you do it please post it here.

i usually sync photos from Aperture on MacBook Pro to iPhone 5 and iPad
using iTunes (all latest updates) . Sync worked perfectly
but
since last update of OS X and migration from aperture to new "PHOTOS"
icloud turned off, sync won't put any photos onto devices
I have restored both devices , leaving sync photos option off(to delete any previous photos)
then try to sync photos and nothing happens
i I can sync folders but that isn't how I want it??

I've noticed that with the iOS update, you're not asked if you want to allow the app to access photos or something. I said do not allow on Facebook thinking that it would upload pictures without my permission. Really this allows you to save photos to your camera roll. Now I have to figure out how to undo this....
You've been able to save photos from Facebook since at least the last update. You just touch the picture for 2-3 seconds and a menu will pop up asking if you want to save it/make profile picture/cancel/etc.

I found a webpage where a user reported the same issue as me.
He said he determined that "foreign pictures" -- meaning any pictures not taken using the iPhone's camera -- were the cause. Once he deleted the "foreign pictures" -- such as pictures obtained from receiving texts from others which included pictures that he saved onto the iPhone, then iTunes worked.
In my case, the fix was to upgrade the iPhone's OS from 5.1.1 to the latest version.
Now, both issues are solved:
Windows recognizes the iPhone as a storage device.
iTunes can see pictures that I've saved on the iPhone.

Email recipients cannot save photos I send

I just got a Mac a few weeks ago. I love it! I have sent several photo files to friends and family members. The photos are embedded in the email so I can see them, and from my end, it looks like there is an attachment. But, they see the pictures but cannot save them. I have had the same problem. This does work but why did it change? My family use to be able to see my photo with titles and comments. Now everything is now a separate attachment even the titles and comments. It is like I updated one day and the pictures became embeded in the email. I want it back to the way it was.

Before i can transfer all my Photos and videos from iphone to pc but when i updated my itunes to version 10 no autoplay popped up window and my pc doesnt detect the portable device/iphone anymore. Transfer Photos from iPhone to PC:
On a Windows PC the easiest way to get pictures from your iPhone is to just use Windows Explorer, but there’s two ways to go about this:
Plugin your iPhone to the computer without iTunes running
Wait for a popup asking you what you want to do with the device
Select “View Content”
Find your photos through the folders that are displayed
Copy in Windows as usual
If your iPhone is already plugged into your PC, you can try this method:
Plugin your iPhone to your PC
Open “My Computer”
Find your iPhone, it will appear as any other camera would
Open iPhone to find your Photos
Select the pictures you want to copy to your computer and copy/paste them into the desired location on your PC

yes, everything else seems to work except bluetooth. it just keeps searching all the time and none of my devices see the phone including macbook, iMac or speakers. I've reinstalled the system and reset it as well, Ive also followed one advice that's on one of the forums where it was suggested to switch the flight mode on, reset the phone and switch the flight mode off. No results.
Do you have any other ideas?

We have been UNABLE to save photos for FIVE months and have asked Apple Staff anf Joint Venture for help.
ONLY NOW we find out that Apple KNOWS about this and refuses to repair it!
I am sorry, but this is NOT the Apple we knew under Steve!!!

This problem is an OS problem not an iPhoto one, so it will take an OS update to fix it, not an iPhoto one.
10.8.2 is the current version of the Operating System. I got it from Software Update, like everyone else does.

Cannot save photos after opening (can only do a "Save As")

Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3
OS: XP w/SP3
System: Dell vostro 200, 2.20GHz Duo, 2GB RAM, 160GB HD (mostly free), Intel G33/G31 Express 128.
ERROR:
Could not save photo.jpg because the file is locked. Use Properties command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file.
Actions took:
I fully installed all the updates, when unsuccessful, I repaired the installation, when that was unsuccessful, I completely uninstalled and then reinstalled Photoshop. This was also unsuccessful.
Our photos are on a network share and the user has full access to the folder and files (they are not locked or read only). When I access the photos on a different computer, I can open them, make changes, and then save without any problems. When the affected user does, they get the above error when trying to saveand they have the exact same access as the one that works.

it might be a network issue, and oopening files on a network isn't supported by adobe except when using version cue. best to copy locally then save back to the local drive and use explorer to update the network copy. windows has lots of built in protections to maintain data integrity when copying to and from a network that photoshop doesn't.
that said, and if you insist on working on a file residing on the network, make sure other apps which might have access to the file are closed. especially windows explorer and bridge.
